Hello, I am Célia, from Portugal.

I'm 49 years old, almost 50. I have 5 kids, and read the tarot only for family and friends, althought I have made a big pause. I started more than 20 years ago.

I heard a strong call again this year, I think it is time to come closer to Tarot.

Hearts to you all,

Célia

Welcome

Ah reading only for friends and family, i remember those days

Joining here could give you a bigger avenue via the reading exchange or your readings. After you get a couple of posts in.

What deck is your mains

I imagine you are self taught via book.

Which one did you like.

Well look around , ask questions, and enjoy.

Welcome to TT and Me!

Have to say the lemon chicken made in your country is truly the best handsdown. A friend of mine in London, from Lisbon I believe, use to cook it for me all the time.

Anyways, lots of forums on here for you to explore with some great members and Moderators.

Hope you settle in and enjoy your Tarot reconnection!

Thank you all for the warm wellcome ❤️ @DanielJUK @joy @Rupicapra @DownUnderNZer @HOLMES

Yes, I have first learnt from books, as I didn't knew no one. The first book was a classic from Hajo Banzjhaf, and also the books that came with my first decks.

My first deck was The Tarots of The Sphynx, but it was way too hard for me. Next, I got some more wonderfull decks, wich I changed according to the person I was reading for. Some decks were better for some people. Of course the one I still use the most is WS Raider Smith.

My main decks were WS, St Peterbourg, Morgan Greer, Medieval Scrapini and the Inner Child.

I like collecting decks too, There are so many different messages from each card on each one!

Also I am finishing an online course that started 3 months ago.

@DownUnderNZer Here we are masters in chicken and cod dishes!

Some interesting decks you mention there.

Thoth is one deck I have never really got along with despite how truly beautiful it is. I picked one up years ago and put it away almost immediately - just didn't connect with it.

Now the RW type styles I do seem to resonate better with and I find most decks do have something to say. Not all, but definitely most.

That goes for Oracles and what have you as well.

I think having options is absolutely ideal!

Hope you get back into it full swing.

Anyways, good to know about the chicken and cod. Awesome! 👍

Same here, I just cannot connect with it, look like it belongs to a universe different than mine. I tried, but no.
