🤣🤣👍

She’s adorable! ❤️ Can’t wait to see what you and your little helper will come up with 🥰

First and foremost we are going to have to fix that nose! 😆, and the highlights in her eyes a bit.  I also want to see if we can get a bit more wood-grain feel to that cup, I chose do the cut in a light wood to honor the Willow tree, which is associated to the element of water and its magic.  It is also flexible like our young Novice.  The inlays in the cup are Abalone or Paua Shell which is associated with the imagination and the energy of the ocean.  The heart inlay is red coral for life energy and vitality, which is also related to our young Novice.  The wood of her paint palate and cup are symbols of the element of earth as is the grass which relates to her being "earth of water", which is also symbolized by her emerging from the cup and transforming from water into a physical being.  The Undine is representative of her true self and eternal connection to the element of water, intuition, and the other world.  The paint palate and brush represent her sensitive and emotional manner of expression and her creativity.  She shares the sensuality of the suit of cups but is a bit shy as well.  The fish is about messages.

P.S. was that thumbs up and laughing a resounding yes????? 😜

I love everything you have envisioned for her!! And NO, I am not going take over the sketch and ruin her by turning her into something else, this has to be YOUR work 😘

Umm, yes?  I'm pretty much done with my Hermit and will be (hopefully) scanning it today.  I don't own a scanner so I have to take it somewhere.  I am just tweaking small details and fixing smudges right now.  I also need to extend the height and width cuz I miscalculated and drew a little bit too close to the outer edge.  So, I'll get those done and bring it to the scanning place today.  I'm not sure if I will post it here in the WIP thread, though.  But maybe.

I can draw but collage is one of my favorite art forms!  Collage can be amazing, too!  But don't shoot for amazing; shoot for the best representation of your card that only you can create.  Express your vision and voice to the best of your ability and it will be great!

For those of you who are hesitant to make a card because you don't think you're talented enough or can't compare, etc., go take a look at other collaborative decks out there.  There's usually a wide range of styles and abilities, and in the end it all comes together perfectly.

Whatever you decide, I look forward to the final reveal 😀

You are not the only one doing collage art, there will be all sorts of styles and techniques in this deck 🥰

I think this concludes my Elder of Earth. I’m going to scan her and see. It’s tricky to get an accurate picture with a cellphone but you get the idea. Hopefully my scanner does a better job 🙂

I'll make you a deal, you draw my Novice of Water (using my concept) and I will write your description and mine! 😆

Speaking of the Novice of Water, here she is.  Now I need to find a scanner so that I can get it to the person who is going to help me digitally beautify her and fix her nose and other tweaks, but I am done:

Truly love her @Jewel well done! ❤️❤️❤️

I'm in with the Five of Earth!

My vision is inspired by the Chinese Farmer Zen Story, also known as "Good luck, bad luck, who knows?". Those who followed the "Creative Tarot Circle, November 2019 - Five of Pentacles" will not be surprised that I have chosen this interpretation of my favorite card.

I've been lurking in this thread since the beginning, in awe of everyone's work and vacillating on whether I wanted to join.  And just now I decided that I do! but only if this one specific card were still available and it was! so here I am, out of the shadows!

Love, Grandma

@Grandmaso glad you are joining in the fun! :animated-smileys-hug-002:I hope you share your progress with us, we love seeing the work in progress.  I just chose my second card, the Novice of Air 😀

Turns out I won't be able to get to the scanning place 'til tomorrow.  So I'll finish up my text for the LWB tonight and see if I can dig out my good camera to post it here.  And tomorrow I submit!

I've started sketching for my next card, Nurturer of Earth.

So the cats are not at all happy with me following them around to take pictures. I'll try a few more days before I go to my second option.

Finally @Grandma! Was waiting for your sign up, thought I might have to send out the troops to hunt you down! Looking forward to your card ❤️

I've been keeping quiet about this while seeing if the concept will work... but I think it does. So here's the Four of Water!

I'll probably try tinting it again, like with the Fool.  The design is a bit 'novel' so I might need to work on the LWB blurb carefully!

Amazing finished pieces on the Elder of Earth and Novice of Water! This deck is looking so diverse and beautiful already, I can't wait to get time to make my card!

@Wanderer LOVE this Four of Water. The trees are enrapturing. I'm  excited to read your blurb on it when we all finish!

After getting swatted at, I give up on the cats for this one.

Now for my second idea, I can't for the life of me find copyright free images to use, and husband refuses to be in yet another picture... he is on 3 for one of the AT Tarots already.

I need to persuade him somehow. I only need his back anyway, sheesh.

Yeah I've been through them but it is not only very confusing to find anything, I could not see anything even remotely like what I need.
