What do others think? Well, it looks like an Old Master, so I don't think people will assume it was painted for this deck. I do find the writing on it from the National Gallery distracting. It makes me wonder about that free access program and what artworks I will find there, instead of the tarot card and how to interpret this man's face (and chest, oh my!) in relation to the Two of Fire. Raggydoll did say in the info thread that we aren't signing our cards, so I'd assumed that applies to artist attributions of public domain works as well. And know this is not the case, but it sort of makes the portrait seem like a hurried submission for the card. You could always add that info and where you sourced it in the description going in the Big Guidebook. Okay, that's my 2 cents.

To be honest, I think the writing may confuse people. They will see the writing and not your musings, and that may make the vision hard to grasp. I agree with Jewel that it is a somewhat unusual take on that card, so your description will likely be very valuable.

And I'm wondering how to size my actual drawing in inches? OK so directing me to the tech support would be very appreciated! Update: OK so I now have a rough scetch started but need assistance with tech of course! OK so I seemed to be seeing a truncated version of the forum for some reason, I did find the tech support thread and will take my questions there. Another update, I lost it again!
