Hello, and thank you so much for your community! I’ve been reading tarot cards for 6 years and have loved every second of it. The tarot is a great teacher and just a lot of fun, right? I hope to become more active with my fellow readers online :) I am a big fan of the Thoth system (cut my teeth on the Rosetta Tarot), but have a collection of decks so large I am rather embarrassed about it! Other things, let’s see... favorite color is red, I love my pet rabbits and playing guitar, and I was playing Pokemon Yellow tonight. It’s great to meet you!

Hope you're all doing good. I'm beginning to dip my toes into magick and tarot. Tarot is just calling my name. Anyone have a suggest of what deck I should buy first? Aside from the classic Rider Waite. Take care!

Hi everyone! I’m Kati and I’ve been reading Tarot for few months now. I got my first deck about 15 years ago or so but I didn’t really connect with it. And because the cards just didn’t speak to me I got discouraged and decided that Tarot is not for me... until last spring I felt the urge to try again. I had already given my old deck away so I did some research and bought myself Everyday Witch Tarot that I instantly connected with. I am a bit shy but I’d like to exchange some readings (yikes!) and study the cards even further with all of you.

Hello all - I am starting to dip my toes back into tarot after a number of years away. I was a prolific member of Aeclectic around the turn of the millennium. To say that experience was life-changing would be an understatement. I met my wife Laura (Gardener) through those boards, and together we had a child who has just turned 15. Also, I became a professional reader for awhile in a local shop and it spurred me onto a career change from sales to becoming a licensed psychotherapist, which I have been doing in private practice over the past decade. My experience on those boards led to multiple friendships which I still cherish. Now that I…

Hello to the community! I'm an intermediate tarot reader. I have just got my 6th deck. I reached a point where 2 specific decks are captivating my interest. I'm able to think about these decks, the characters within the decks. I've been learning to read Tarot for myself, and for others.

    Started by Tata,

Hallo Everyone! I am Tata. The first time I tried Tarot was a few years ago, after my friend gave me a deck as a graduation gift. It was Classic Rider Tarot and still use it until now. To be honest, I'm not an avid Tarot reader. I do believe in Tarot, but it just not my main passion. Most of the times, I do Tarot when I feel highly depressed or feel lost. It helps me for guidance and 'talking' to my inner self. I usually exchange my reading with that friend. He moved away a year ago and started his new business. I stopped exchange my readings with him, as he's quite busy and I don't want to bother him. So, here I am! Looking for any new perspective of …

I've been a member here for awhile, just now got around to greeting you all. From the Southern US, been messing with tarot for more than two decades now, my interest was re-fired recently when I got a tinned Tarot de Maria Celia. Cute little deck, reminds me in a way of my Tarot Nova which has been one of my favorites for many, many years. Hope everyone has a safe and happy day, I'm looking forward to chatting more.

They guided me through a dark period of me life, as so often happens it seems 🙂 They recently began nudging me to find some outside learning/teachers/community so here I am! Current deck is Ostara which I adore but thinking about preordering Tarot of the Divine, it looks beyoootifull

Hi everybody!! I just got my first tarot deck!! I gave myself a reading and while looking online for possible interpretations I stumbled upon this forum. I'm completely new at tarot reading. I have always been interested in it, but was hesitant because of the negative stigmas. However, I've come to realize that tarot reading can be a positive experience, so here I am :). If you guys have any tips for beginners, anything to help me, let me know!! It's nice to be here,

Hi Everyone! I don't know how I missed this community, but I am glad I found it 🙂 I am a psychotherapist and also read the cards. I love combining both of my passions and have written several books, including "Journaling the Tarot," "The Tarot Activity Book," and "Tarot for Transformation." It's been almost twenty years since I began my tarot journey and I love that there is always something new to discover about the cards...there is so much wisdom that you can hold in the palm of your hand 🙂 I am looking forward to being active in this community, so thank you for having me!

New to tarot, new to the forum. I've owned my deck for a long time, took it out on occasion, but it never really clicked until recently. Suddenly the cards answer the questions in a way that makes sense - either i wasn't open to it before or didn't grasp the concept. I still use the LWB but I'm starting to recognize patterns... Anyway, this looks like a good place to learn and hang out, so looking forward to getting to know you all.

Thought I would say a quick hello! i've been interested in Tarot for about three years or so but am still very much a beginner, didn't do much last year as it was a very trying year with health and family problems. I had hoped for a better year for 2020 and drew a Card for the Year on January 1st asking "how will 2020 go?" well, I drew The Tower 🤣 and we all know how the year has panned out so far - I went on holiday to Cyprus in February (sadly didn't take my cards with me), got stranded there for just over five months but can't complain it was a good place to be. Back in Scotland now and will continue my tarot studies 🙂 and will most probably be lurking on here quite of…

I'm new here. I've been interested in the tarot since 2015 and I've been using it on and off since then. I'm thinking of being more involved in the practice since last year and I've been looking for communities that share the same passion - I still remember the aeclectic tarot forum from before and I wanted to find something similar, and then I found this! 😆 I'm so glad I came upon this site. I look forward to learning from you all, and maybe reading for you in the future. Haha.

Old friends, you say? Yes, I’m a bit late to the party, but I used to be an active member of the Aeclectic Tarot forum. After it shut down it was just me, tarot, and tea for a while… The offline version, that is. But now I suddenly miss the community aspect of tarot, so here I am! I’ve already seen some familiar names. I’m a beekeeper, plant-lover, herbalist. I share my space (a dreamy house on the Dutch coast) with chickens, a cat and some polyamorous humans. I’m an aspiring pianist (I just learned my first cords), I’d love to hear about your favourite piano songs, classical or otherwise. I love to be creative, in the most broad sense of the word: it …

Howdy, I'm new here. I had a Rider-Waite deck for a year or two but I gave it away. For a while I used a playing card deck with images of birds from South Africa that I found in the street, but now I use the Thoth deck. I've only ever read for myself. Looking forward to exchanging readings to expand my practice. Jesse

Good evening, This would be my first time getting into a tarot forum. I recently got my first deck about a week ago and began doing readings for myself after I had a sort of, I guess I would call it a spiritual awakening. It's been a very rewarding and eye opening experience. I've had tarot readings done before, but this would be the first time I've had my own deck. Looking forward to gaining some insight from everyone, and lending some of my own when I can!
