Hello everyone! I just joined this forum because I wanted to find a nice community of others who have a love for tarot just like I do. I picked up my first deck in July, but never got a chance to study until about a month ago. Currently I am in love with my deck and have done a few readings for friends. I am very new to tarot, but I would like to learn more! - M aka keychain

I'm new to the forum. I'm not big into forums and will probably lurk and learn and read mostly. I am experienced with tarot reading going back to the late '70's. I was young then and mu aunt introduced me to tarot reading. In the mid '90's I was doing a reading for myself and what happened really affected me and I walked away from it but I still have the same deck and it's funny, the other night I got this incredible feeling and I took them out for the first time since then and now I'm at ease with tarot once again and I'm ready to re-discover all that's positive. So I'm happy to be back within the community.

Hi everyone! My name is Cassie :) I am new to the forum. I used Aeclectic Tarot Forum for a long time. Even though I have been using Tarot for over ten years now, I am still finding the confidence to trust my intuition and instincts when it comes to my own readings. I like to lurk a lot as well but I think I am finally starting to build my confidence 😊 Nice to meet you all!

Hello, I've been lurking on here for a while, and finally started an account because I wanted to get more involved with the rich knowledge here on the forum. My Mom had a few tarot decks that I grew up playing with and I re-connected with tarot about 6 years ago. I really only use them for myself at this point, mainly for personal development and connecting to my intuitive side. I also love collecting decks a bit too much. I'm still too shy/anxious to do readings for other people. It's really an introvert problem. And a perfectionist problem. I want to really know what I'm doing before going public, but I think that's holding me back a LOT. I've only recently s…

Hello, I go by Z for short, and I'm currently teaching myself the Tarot from meditation, dream work, manifesting the energy, with my other gifts, and simply observing the cards (the first thing I do). I'm also learning from other resources and individuals... so I am taking 4 days per card to fully understand. This does mean that I do have a more paced journey, but I am still reading for myself because it is good practice. With this being said, I am new to Tarot and I don't know anyone in my life who reads the Tarot. I do have a long distance friend who is interested but in learning but I am yearning to meet more like-minded people. Other than the tarot, I know a lot abo…

Hello everyone! I just joined the forum, I don't actually know why...I was just drawn to it...and I always follow my intuition, so I guess I did the right thing. I've always been into tarot cards, as my grandmother used to read them...but I've been learning on my own, and I've discovered that there are just so many variants and interpretations...sometimes it can be overwhelming! I'm a holistic counsellor, so I plan to include tarot readings in my sessions. I currently did a few to concentrate on blockages and fears.... I'm a bit afraid to take the step into the "future" readings. I think I'll read alot for the moment, and post a little... Thank you all for all the t…

Hi everyone, I’m Deborah and delighted to be a part of this community. I’m new to the Tarot family, have always had an interest in my spiritual side and have driven friends and family crazy with my absolute belief in my gut instinct and intuition so I thought it finally time to do something proactive! A few months back I bought my first RW deck and have found myself wanting to learn everything I can. I joined TT&M to not only learn but to find similar minded people to share my learning experience with (and your help and knowledge of course!) Looking forward to getting to know you on this journey 🙂 Dx

Long story short I lost my account info, can't login to my old account TheTarotRaven. But yeah, I ended up getting a bit disheveled mentally and then more life happened and I've been so out of the loop. Regardless, I'm ready to jump back in and get things restarted and with a renewed vitality! I'm going to jump into a brief af bio, and hopefully breeze through this better than I did previously! 2nd generation tarot reader and i'd like to say I got my gift for r eading and social awkwardness from my father. I don't know who else has read tarot in my family as they are mostly religious beyond belief but I do know he had been reading for over 2 decades and that I am no…

I was given the Thoth tarot deck for my 21st birthday and I put them away as it seemed too complicated for me back then, as inexperienced in life as I was. I just moved house and found my deck, plus several accompanying books, and I've been trying to connect with my higher consciousness and tarot is an excellent way to do that. I'm really enjoying exploring the cards and their meanings, both overt and subtle, and their interplay with each other. Actually, I'm a little obsessed with them now. Looking forward to getting to know you. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

Narrator: It was not, in fact, alway sunny in Philly... Hello all! I figured I'd jump in and introduce myself. Like many others, I'm a former ATer (I went by Deacon76 on that board). I've been reading tarot since 2006. I've been working a lot with the TdM lately, specifically the CBD and Noblet decks. Every now and again, I entertain the notion of reading professionally, but I haven't really dropped the hammer on that endeavor. I've read online, at writing conferences, at parties... but hanging out a shingle still seems so daunting. I'm also a writer, and am trying to get back into the saddle of the whole novel-writing biz. Anyway, I'm most interested in talking…

Hey everyone, I've dabbled in tarot for a few years now (very very minorly). I started when I was about 18, and I'm in my mid 20s now. I've always found it very interesting and really, really wanted to learn but I've always found it very intimidating and extremely hard to trust my intuition. I ordered the Tarot of Pagan Cats deck today and I thought, well, now I've committed to a cute deck with kittens all over it I better start learning what to do and not relying on the tiny little guidebook I got with a set from the newsagent in 2012. I'm a bit slow picking things up but I really hope I can learn some things by being here :)

Hi Everyone! I am thrilled to have found this forum. I am new to Tarot and also new to opening myself up to the spiritual realm, so I am very happy to find a friendly online community that is open to wide-eyed newbies like myself! 2018 has been a hard year and I have been through a lot of confusions, humiliations, and losses. So I'm reaching beyond the material world in search of energy, healing, and communing with a higher realm. My inspiration to reach towards the spiritual comes from readings from womanist spiritual activists such as Layli Maparyan, AnaLouise Keating, and Gloria Anzaldúa, so if anyone stumbling upon this post has been inspired by any of these wom…

Hello all, I'm very happy to be here. I've been reading the old Aeclectic forums, but then found Tarot, tea and me. A few years ago I started learning the RWS card meanings, mainly by rote and then, somehow just trailed off. I came across my deck again recently and something happened, I got bitten by the tarot bug. I'm glad to see there is a special thread to help talk people down from buying too many decks, as I've gone a bit mad on that front! :bugeyed: And all those walk throughs on YouTube, all those beautiful decks and books. Anyway, I'm currently working my way through Mary Greer' s 21 Ways to Read a Tarot Card, which I'm really enjoying. Looking for…

Now that 8 am no longer in school or that house hold my practice has expanded a bit the past year. Looking forward to it expanding more and getting to know some of you.

Hi there :) I just joined up today, I hope you're all doing well :) I only started reading Tarot a few months ago, but so far they've been really interesting and helpful (if at times a little disconcerting)! I started with the cards because I have what my my grandma called kenning (sort of a radio wave? It's hard to explain, but basically, sometimes I know things I shouldn't or couldn't, but mostly it's useless stuff or jumbled. It's an Irish thing ::) ) and I though they might help organise it all - and so far it's really helped, though I sometimes need some help understanding what I'm pulling through. My immediate family is HUGELY sceptical of anything vaguely …
