I've just discovered this deck by Tomas Hijo! I need to know more! It looks like it's inspired by Guillermo del Toro. I've always been fascinated by the creatures he creates. Does anyone know more about it? Got pics?

For anyone that has been or may be interested in the Sakki Sakki Tarot and companion book Playing with Symbols, you can get on the inside track here for a link to be emailed to you for preorder. It says the decks will be available February 15. Once you provide sign up, you will receive an email to a video where she shares her creative process. She shares in this updated release there will be heads on the images, some color changes, and extra cards. The book will have two additional chapters, if I am remembering correctly. Here is the link to her website: https://sakki-sakki.com This is from the forum Deck Library.

Does anyone here have the Sola Busca Tarocchi that was published by Scarlet Imprint in 2017? I just have a few questions. Thank you!

Tomas Hijo is making another Jim Henson property tarot deck, this time it's Dark Crystal. Sadly this is also for Insight Additions so it's likely to be a pips deck. What I wouldn't *give* for a fully illustrated deck by him. The 'Diablo: the Sanctuary' Tarot Deck caught be by complete surprise. (Spouse is going to get it for me for Christmas, since we're both gamers. Perfect gift!) It's a fully illustrated deck, dark and gothic in red, white, black, and some gray. It looks pretty fantastic if the game is at all of interest. For those new to it, Diablo is a game made by Blizzard, a classic roguelike where your character is largely define…

Hi, I’m new to Tarot, Tea & Me. My name is Bonnie. I first was introduced to tarot in the early 70’s…and started reading for friends, clients seriously in the past 15 years. I’m excited to be a part of this community! I’m looking for the name of a specific tarot deck & although I have contacted a reader on youtube for the name I receive no response. I’m seeking help to find this tarot deck. Any suggestion? I have a picture but not sure how to post on this blog. Thank you, Bonnie

After picking up my waterproof, Samhain Deck of the Bastard again, for the last, new moon reading, I'm addicted 😁. I remembered the shuffle being fantastic but oh my god, it riffles like butter. This got me wondering. Are there any other decks printed on that same, buttery soft, waterproof stock that tarotbyseven uses? I thiiiiink her decks are usually printerstudio but not sure about the waterproof stock. I believe the Ellis Deck still has a waterproof version for now (wish I'd sprung for that instead of my standard deck but I was feeling cheap at the time) but do you guys know of any others? I can't really justify 3 versions of Deck of the bastar…

A recent discussion started by @Scarlet Woodland about favorite new mass market decks got @Misterei and I discussing black and white decks. Oddly, I couldn’t find a thread about this subject so if this is a duplicate, please shift accordingly. Happy to keep a previous thread moving. Where are you when it comes to two color decks? I have Ship of Fool’s Tarot - just opened it for this discussion although it has been on my mind all week. I’ve found a lot to ponder and consider in the guidebook which I like because thinking outside of the box is a personal goal of mine. However, a good guidebook does not necessarily make for a good reading deck relati…

I noticed Hay House stopped gilded decks after they got reprinted i don't know if they did that to all of their decks? Also did anyone noticed a difference in their decks in general on cardstock? I still adore the packaging thought and thick guidebooks just noticed a difference? Also as a bit boujee reader 😅 which publisher/s print gilded decks now? Idk i think it's like they're not as many now?

Some of us paid for the whole deck years and years ago. We got the major arcana and a few minor cards. The deck was coming out so slowly that I doubted I live the day to see it in its 78 cards version. Did you got all the cards? Because I came across this on her website: Which means that the deck IS or WILL BE finished very soon.

I've been staying mostly out of the loop for the last few years, only catching the scent of the Phantomwise Tarot, Hush Tarot, and a couple new editions of old favs (really enjoying all of these). I see lots of discussion online about shiny, new indie decks but less about the more accessible, new mass market decks. I'd love to know what I've missed and see affordable, mass market decks get some love. So, which new decks from the last few years have you been enjoying/coveting? Which were your favs?

What's your opinion on expensive discontinued collectors decks would you purchase them if yes which ones would you like to add to your collection? Also if you already have any which ones do you have? I don't have any for now but i found one i was searching for so much time since i mostly seen reprints instead of the original so I'll post it here if i get it maybe for Christmas 🥰🙏

Do you prefer new or used decks? If you don't mind how you cleanse and connect with them? Personally if it's a rare one/I can't find and on a good condition i don't mind I personally cleanse all my decks and at the same way especially when i first get them so pretty much i just put the deck in order and usually just choose an incense and i pass through it the whole deck few times before and after i pass each card through it then i put it on my selenite bar overnight with some intentions and cleansing crystals above it according to deck type i like full moon baths too and also hold it and see study its cards for a while maybe start with one card a day befor…

So I fairly recently bought myself a copy of the Aquarian Tarot, the latest version published by US Games that is currently widely available to buy. It's certainly usable but me being my picky self, I'm disappointed with some of the printing quality. For example the Temperance card seems 'off colour' and washed out, and the detail of the face is barely visible. There are a number of other cards that are like this as well... My question is, is it worth me investing in a vintage black box copy of the deck? Is the printing quality of the older versions any better? Edited to add, if anyone might know, of the original printings of the deck …

I see that the wonderful I Tarocchi Celtici by Laura Tuan is re-printed. But sadly it seems the book is still only in Italian. Does anyone know if any enterprising soul has ever translated it in English? I could do all the keywords from the cards in a translate page, but the book is beyond me. Yet I'm sure it's fascinating. . . In hope PathWalker

I tend to use certain decks for this upcoming season. Mostly my darker decks because I feel they have a more earthy tone. For example Tarot of the Vampyres, Deviant Moon, Tarot of Bones and Mary El among others. Does anyone else like to use different decks like this?

Hello All So curious if anyone else used this deck and there opinion of it? It’s a gorgeous deck that focuses more mythology and shamanism. However it’s the first deck I’ve every used that doesn’t follow the usual Rider-Waite format for each card. Unique but does make it hard to read at times.

Here's another one I've been meaning to share: http://www.tarotoftheabyss.com/ It's by the same artist as the Oracle of Echoes and the forthcoming Bonestone and Earthflesh Tarot. This one is a black and white deck, all done in pen and ink drawings. I love the fine lines. Black and white decks usually don't grab me as much, but this one intrigues me.

This may not be in the right section but I'm not talking about specific decks and I'm not talking about possible card meanings so I'm not sure where it belongs. I want to add a couple decks to the library but I'd like to hear from others which cards they'd like to see as samples. For example, your "make it or break it" card when deciding to purchase a deck. I don't have such a card myself but I know that some do. @gregory likes to see the Death card and I'll include that no matter the deck samples I choose to upload. I don't want to just upload majors for viewing so any suggestions as to minors people might want to see?
