I'm quite interested in studying Santa Muerte as a phenomenon, and I've considered reaching outside my religious lines to get this deck. But there seems to be two other decks that are Santa Muerte themed, is that correct? I've seen the Santa Muerte Tarot by Fabio Listrani, but there's another one by Berbera? https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/tarot-de-la-santa-muerte-berbera/1121315628 Also, can anyone identify this deck? https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=oBrlkLAh&id=DF6D63B0E164C5FB992D56C371CD0737A59F6AB2&thid=OIP.oBrlkLAhFa5ItsEX2TwBuQHaGi&mediaurl=http%3a%2f%2fwww.fotothing.com%2fphotos%2f887%2f8873ef62278447c0e16dda556c29df6d_c36.…

Does anybody have the Sinking Wasteland Tarot? What do you think about it? Do you use it often, and would you recommend it? At first I didn't really take to it, since I just wasn't enamored of the deck's artistic style. It has really grown on me tho. I like its gothy apocalyptic vibe, and tho it's RWS-based, I admire how creative its takes on it are. Btw, HERE are images of the cards in the deck's website.

Has anyone considered buying Patch Tarot? The deck is available now for a 50% discount with code "SpecialSale" until end of 19th of May. But they have numbered the major arcana different, e.g., 7-Lovers, 8-Chariot, 9-Passion, 10-Hermit, etc. "The biggest change in this deck has to be the reversal of positions between The Empress and The Emperor, which was done incredibly purposefully and, in our humble perspectives, by the hand of Spirit. This switch aligned The Empress with the Hebrew letter “Heh”, of which stands for the Feminine components of the Tetragrammaton (Yod Heh Vav Heh) – the Holy Name of God. It also allowed the Major Arcana flow,…

Hi, I am making a study of tarot cards preparatory to becoming a reader. I'm interested in the Wirth pack as a bridge between the Marseilles and Waites pack but am rather confused by the number of different Wirth packs there arte! I want the earliest pack that is most true to Wirth's original conception - any help identifying the best pack for me would be most welcome and gratefully received.

I can be a VERY picky person sometimes, suffer a lot from buyer's remorse, and I've had a lot of difficulty finding a Tarot that really 'speaks' to me. I've looked through a bunch of 'Deck of the Week' threads and not found any that suited yet, so I was wondering if anyone would be willing to make some suggestions? I don't care if it's a Marseille, a Minchiate or one of those really rare ones with male and female versions of all the court cards. (In fact, if you know of any with male and female jacks and knights, I'd be interested to hear about it anyway!) Must Have: A pictorial minor arcana Strong symbolism High quality artwork Nice…

I'm late on posting this here, but the long awaited Numinous Tarot has it's kickstarter up. Almost 200% funded with 12 days left! For those of you who need/want to wait for release, 25k will get more decks printed for later. Estimated release is Feb 2018. Just wanted to let people know, since this news might have gotten lost in the events of the last month.

Hello, hello ! I have been quiet for some time (because very busy in real life !) but I am glad to be back ! I recently had the opportunity to purchase the Tarot of Prague 1st edition - this deck I had on my wish list for years, but it was always very pricy on ebay (I even saw it listed for something like 2000 $ !!!! I doubt it ever sold for that price though, lol !) Anyway, it was one of these decks that I had kind of resolved myself to never get because of the price, and two weeks ago I saw it on ebay for a reasonable price... there were already a couple of bids on it... I placed a bid, thinking that it would be outbid in no time... I was so convinced to be outbi…

Has anyone worked with this deck? How did you find it, and what are your experiences with it? Does its forecasted images really confine your interpretations as some people say, or does it read beautifully for you? I have determined that 2018 would be an RWS year for me, so aside from focusing on the system, I'm planning to study decks that offer different perspectives on it, ones which are creative and inspired. I already bought this one with the kit so that I can immerse myself in it more. I'm so excited for it. :D

Hello! (I hope this is the right spot for this~) I bought the Japanese Myth Tarot, but it did not come with it's manual. Does anyone happen to have the book that they could take pictures of? Thank you~ Big shot in the dark here!

Hello All! I'm going to be gifted tarot for my birthday (my husband knows me well) - and have been asked to choose a few from the Il Meneghello publishing house. I've decided to pick two of lesser value and one of higher - the two cheaper ones are Naibi Tarot by Giovanni Vacchetta, and the Minchiate Etruria. The question is now which to choose between the Sola Busca and Visconti Sforza. I'm torn!!!! What would you pick and why?

Does anybody here work with the Vice Versa Tarot? How does it handle, and how did you find it? More importantly, how do you work with it? How do you know which piles to pick for example, if you can see images in the front and back? I think I should fan it and choose the cards from thence instead of cutting the deck and stacking the different piles since you'd see the topmost cards in the latter. Also, when you pick a card, do you still flip it over as you would a deck with normal backs or do you let it stay as it is? I'm inclined to favor the latter tbh. One last thing. I've got the kit and it's scheduled to be delivered this week (yay!). Anyway, I read reversals, …

Should there be others who, like me, wait impatiently for YEARS to see a re-print of Lisa Hunt's Fairy Tale Tarot..... in whatever language... well, here is some information. I have had my beady eye on the website of the Arun Publishing House for some years, and they keep saying: soon available again! I even wrote to them some two years ago and they answered very nicely, yes, they'll publish a new edition of this popular deck. German would be great for me (native language), but even for English-only speakers, German is easy to understand since it's quite similar to English. And the pictures speak for themselves. When I last checked it, there was …

Just a question. I bought a black and white deck recently - just a little Chinese cheapie which looked cute and probably AI - and a review I later found said it was a knock-off copy of a coloured one called the Leisurely Cat Tarot. I found that on etsy - sold out - but I suspect that was also a knock-off as the etsy seller refers to a QR code on the box that doesn't work. I've looked all over and all I can find is that the artist MAY be called Irtush. Does ANYONE know who created it - or anything else about it ? Image of the coloured one clipped from etsy:

I just saw the R. Black Tarot on my feed, and hoo-boy I know this is going to be big. It's still a deck in progress AFAIK, but once it gets out I'm gonna grab it like no one's business. I love it!

What are the decks that you truly, bitterly regret missing out on? It may be because it has become OOP and is no longer available at all, or it can still be around but its prices have become mercenarily astronomical. It may be a limited edition deck you kept postponing on buying until it's too late. :( It may be something you once had but which you traded/gave away, and which you are hankering for again but now it's out of stock everywhere. This is a thread of sorrows, so it's alright if you wish to pour your heart out. :'(

I am struggling to decide whether to buy myself a book about tarot or a tarot deck. Both cost around the same price. What do you recommend I buy?

Really enjoying this deck I recently bought on eBay and whilst searching for a backup I noticed the version I have (see image) differs from those available new or secondhand online. Was wondering whether anyone has any more info on or has come across this particular version? The only date on the packaging or booklet is the 2000 Copyright on the bottom of the box and is rather oddly called The Crystal Tarots where as the other versions I've seen drop the 's' from Tarots. The ISBN-10 matches that of the version available to be bought new, however the layout differs slightly on mine with the Italian text at the bottom of the cards and the English, Spanish, French…

Hi all! Does anyone here use Harmonious Tarot? And, if so, can I get your general impression of the deck? I'm thinking about getting it, as it's very lovely, but I'm worried it would feel similar to Renaissance tarot, energy-wise, and though I have that deck and *like* it, I don't love it enough to use it often. Any thoughts appreciated! Sandy

Is anyone here familiar with the indie, Australian, black and white deck Revelation Tarot? This one is by Jahne Hope-Williams, as opposed to the Zach Wong deck by the same name. I believe it's now OOP...I came across it by chance and became enamored with the images I saw of it.

hi, i've recently been bought the Thelema tarot deck. It said it came with a book for the cards but it doesn't 😞 does anyone know where i can get a book linked to the deck or is it own interpretation? i love the images on the cards and they are so different to my very old Russle Grant set (received in 1995). i'm in the uk if that helps. thanks Amy

Looks like the Tolkien Estate has finally approved a deck. Woodcut style by Tomas Hijo, who did Tarot del Toro and the recent Labyrinth Tarot. Unlike those, this sounds like it might? have fully illustrated minors: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-lord-of-the-rings-tarot-deck-and-guide-casey-gilly/1140975700 If it does I think this is a must-buy for me.
