Hi all, I know there was a rather large thread when the first deck came out, and I follow the creator on IG and he just posted that you can preorder Volume 2, which improves upon the first one; larger cards, better card stock (linen), rounded corners, more detailed guidebook. I never got the first one so i'm excited. You have to send $100 USD to Paypal or Venmo (instructions in the latest post). The creator's Instagram is @rblackart

Just wanted to get some ideas on love themed decks to add to my collection so far i have the Lover's Path Tarot and a reprint of the romance angels oracle and i really like them both they're actually very helpful on love related readings so far so wich one's are your favourites or you just like or know so far?

I don't think we have a thread like this yet. I thought it would be interesting to have an ongoing, editable, thread to keep tabs of our personal favorites. And also we will be able to see how our favorites compare with others. I personally like oracle cards . It just gives me way more clarity and guidance for the future as well. Oracle is much more simpler than the tarot. I guess.

It seems that the long-awaited Everyday Enchantment Tarot by Poppy Palin is finally going to be released by Schiffer in March of 2018! I have very few completely "modern" decks, and I've had my eye on this one for quite some time. I'm just happy that it will be published at long last, and that it will be given the Schiffer treatment no less. :)

Tarocchi came from Renaissance Italy and in those early cards we see light skin and blond hair often depicted. The Northern Italians were generally lighter than the darker skin and hair in South Italy. Was it political / status at all? I have no idea. These were the noble families of Northern Italy. I have a deck that I traded for at a conference last year, but I only have the deck itself in a little bag, no box, no LWB. I know I saw it more than once on AT but for the life of me I can't remember what the name was. Each card (barring the Aces, I think) has both an upright and a reversed picture on it, with contrasting images. The art is rather modern and ethereal at the same time. Sorry I can't post pictures (I don't know how to download them). They're rather heavy on the red or blue backgrounds, and there are a lot of floating squares. Thanks!

I always think it’s a bad sign when Tarot decks are advertised or their boxes only show Major Arcana Cards. I like illustrated pips. When they don’t show any pips I have to research the deck to see if the minors are more RWS or TDM. Most of the time when the box or ad don’t show minors they are not illustrated minors. This, I think, is a bit of cheat. I respect tarot artists, but I guess it’s just easier to have a collection of the four suit items than to make a scene with them. Hi! I was wondering if anyone has any advice on procuring individual tarot card replacements, specifically that deliver to Ireland. I recently put three tarot cards through the wash 😞 after leaving them under my pillow (one was the Wheel of Fortune, which feels a bit on the nose) and am desperately trying to get replacements! I have affection and appreciation for P.C. "pixie" Smith; the lovely picture of her included in the Centennial deck box is framed in my reading room. With that said, however, I never have up to this point been fond of the RWS deck art. Tried to use it many times, always ephemeral attempts due to disinterest. I can be a VERY picky person sometimes, suffer a lot from buyer's remorse, and I've had a lot of difficulty finding a Tarot that really 'speaks' to me. Publisher Liminal 11 has some decks in mass market sales (Modern Witch, Seed & Sickle, etc.), but they also have limited editions that are only available through their site. If you're thinking of ordering one of those, you may want to consider ordering well in advance of when you need it if you're outside the UK (Shipping within the UK is handled separately, and I have no experience with it). I am not sure if this is in the right place or not, but I am at my wits end with trying to remove the heavy scent on a beautiful deck of tarot cards that I was gifted years ago. Literally YEARS--we are talking 2017 or 18, I think! I LOVE the cards, but I cannot use them due to my allergies and asthma. For some reason ... the Algorythm randomly fed me a LeNormand deck on Amazon ... which is a FAKE Daniloff deck. Alexander Daniloff is a wonderful artist. Please do NOT steal money from him by purchasing knock-off decks. The deck is on USA Amazon sold by "Axfbim". Pretty much any time you see a vendor name like that ... it's not legit. Lovely deck acquisition from France. Do any of you have experience with it? The Court cards are an interesting configuration -- with the page being depicted as a younger woman and a unique title.
