It seems like an excellent spread for when you feel a spirit may be hanging around you or a location.; From Miss_Apples' original post; "Here's a spread I made to try and get in touch with any spirit that may be surrounding you including spirit guides." The Spirit Spread --2-----3-- -----1----- --4-----5-- card #1 represents the spirit, a little info about who they are card # 2 represents why they are with you right now card # 3 represents what they want you to know card # 4 re…

This was a spread that was posted to A.T. quite a few years ago. I don't recall having seen Isthmus Nekoi posting in those last weeks, so I'm not sure that they even know about the shutdown. I used this spread for a friend's reading this morning and it worked great. I wrote that the original post said this was "a spread for material things like $, health and suchlike. It's in the shape of the pentacle, symbol of the material." I used it because my friend is a budding Wiccan, and it felt the shape was a good fit for him. Isthmus Nekoi, if you pop in here and happen to see this, I really appreciate how well this spread works for readings, and not just about material thin…

I thought it could be fun to do a Spreadapalooza thread. The idea is to start with a theme, topic, question etc, and everyone shares a spread, their favorite spread on that theme. Sound like fun? If this one's a hit we can do more :) So to start: what's your go-to spread for a daily reading?

Hi everyone! I've done several readings for a friend using the Deviant Moon Tarot. They've been on a couple of different topics, but one card has now come up in 4 readings in some different positions. I'm looking for a reading that I might use to try to find out why the card is recurring. I was thinking I would pull the card in question as kind of a "significator", then do a reading built around it. Any suggestions?

As I'm going to have a trainee at work starting tomorrow, I was going to do a reading with this spread and remembered to post it here. This is to give some insight into the relationship between a trainer and a new trainee. It is designed for situations of 1-on-1 training and focuses primarily on the Trainer and how they should modify their approach for a given trainee. If a Trainee were to come to you for a reading, you could simply swap the Trainer/Trainee in the reading. 1..........3 ......5 2..........4 1) The Trainee's current situation/state of mind (as it applies to the training or job). 2) Obstacles for the Trainee 3) Something the Trainer brings t…

The following are two solstice spreads, summer and winter. I usually just pull one tarot card and one oracle card for my daily draws, but when I have time I like to use something like these: What Surrounds Me (cards are laid out in an "X" shape): 2 ~~~ 3 ~~ 1~~ 4 ~~~ 5 Card one represents me - where I am mentally, physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Cards 2 through 5 represent people, situations, things, etc. that will affect me in some way that day. Head, Heart and Hands Spread: 1. What do I need to know today? 2. What do I need to embrace today? 3. What do I need to do today? Please share your favorite daily spreads when you read for yourself!

This is a simple spread I created, the Goddess Wisdom spread. The cards are laid out linear, 1-2-3-4. Card 1: Intuition. What is your intuition telling you right now? Card 2: Nurturance. What is nurturing you right now, or what in your life needs to be nurtured? Card 3: Universe. How are the energies of the universe aligning around you now? Card 4: Goddess Wisdom. What wisdom from the Goddess guides you now? In working with this spread, I sometimes also choose a Significator or guide card, which I lay out above the row of four cards, to represent what I feel is my current energy or what I am seeking. I like to use my Goddess Tarot (the Kris Waldherr deck) …

I thought I'd share a couple of the spreads I originally posted at AT over here! :) This is a simple night spread, for reflection in the evening or before bed. I often find I want a very simple reading before bed, and created this spread with that in mind. **2** 1***4 **3** Card 1: Represents us as we reflect on this night. Can be thought of as a significator. Card 2: Something you did well today. Card 3: Something to work on tomorrow. Card 4: Something to release. I actually was inspired by a prayer from The New Zealand Prayer Book to create this spread- it’s a prayer that’s often used at the vespers service at my local Unitarian Universalist church…

You: What qualities do you bring into the relationship? 2. Them: What qualities do they bring into the relationship? 3. Progress: How to progress with this relationship. 4.
