Technical Forum Assistance

1) How do we break up comments into multi quoting rather than just one big quote. 2) How can we edit Titles. Especially with spelling errors in them. DND 🙂

1) I miss chatbox in mainpage. Please enable this! 2) quote(!) There is one special button with what you can quote someone and that person then knows better that is s/he got the answer in notifications! Please use quote button!

This is probably really obvious and I am missing it but I have seen some people do posts and some text is in a white box. Not spoiler posts nor quoting, it is just a white box around the text with the background, I cannot work out how you do that, anyone got any clues?

Just started 22 threads in the Arthurian Hallowquest section - but the capitalization in my titles is spotty - even though I typed them all correctly. Is this some odd thing I've done, or some odd thing the forum has done? It's not consistent, which is the bit that's foxing me? Any help appreciated. Many thanks PathWalker

I've just discovered this and I'm sharing it in case it's new to anyone else. 🙂 If you want to quote part of someone's post in your reply to a thread, you can highlight the relevant text, and then a small dialog box opens beside the highlighted text - "Quote selection". Click on the dialog box and the highlighted text appears in a quote box with the name of the OP. Even easier than it was on the old forum. 🙂

Not a huge deal, but I have noticed sometimes when I'm signed in here on the tarot site, it does not show me as being signed in😢 waaa

Just a thought. Some days I can get right into the zone, with my third eye buzzing away and my focus is right on. Some days not. Like this morning. So I came here to see if there was a section for it, how to get by this, if anyone has suggestions, and I'm sure people do, but either I'm missing or it doesn't exist on here. I have my settings set to receive forum notifications when there are new posts in threads I follow. The notifications appear here in the forum, not via email. My most recent threads however don't show notifications even when there's new content in threads. When I go to the thread and try to set up notifications to correct this, I'm told that my settings aren't set up for it. What option shoud i be clicking to get this to work? Screenshot to follow shortly when I'm back on my pc.

Sorry if this is a question with a terribly obvious answer - but is it possible to hide certain sections of the board when you're logged in? I use the 'unread posts since last visit' feature when I log back in, but the list is heavily populated with reading questions of a type I have no interest in looking at :( Is it possible to hide from view all of that section? To the far right of each item on the Bookmarks page is a little box. One can remove any number of bookmarks at a time by checking the boxes and clicking "Delete selected bookmarks" at the end of the list. Voila! List culled! Could we please have the same feature on the "Show unread posts since your last visit" and "All unread topics" pages? Love, Grandma

Think this needs to come back as it is difficult editing anything when it shows the post as it is posted once it is submitted. In other words, when it is submitted, there is nothing when going into edit to show things like links or [ b ] [/ b] because it shows it in the final post screen only.

When it comes to editing or correcting something like bold - it cannot be done. Once it saves it changes everything to how it is viewed by all so that if mistakes are made they cannot be corrected even when you go back in to do so.

Hello! I was wondering if there was a way to change either my user name itself or just a screen name. I had originally set my user name up as purplefairy, but was hoping to have another option to have my screen name be Pixie Hart instead. Is there a way to change my user name and have that be my screen name and/or just add Pixie Hart onto it? If that even makes sense. 😂 Thanks, Pixie

as I looked at the forum I saw my recent activity recapping in the right hand corner.. and I thought to myself , those who don't read spoilers before actually watching the espiode may be mad at seeing it . I mean recent posts could be just titles and not snipes of the whole post.

I read through the Forum rules but couldn't find what I was looking for, so I'm posting here for advice/suggestions. I opened several new threads in my Minchiate Study Group the other day. Returning to review them, I noticed that in every single one of them, the paragraph spacing has been reduced to one single block of text. (I edited "II. Il granduca - the grand duchess", btw.) I'm not sure what has caused this, but now I have to go back and recreated by paragraph texting. Is this backup issue? What would cause invisionzone to do this to my writing? I have paragraphs for a reason, invisionzone! Grrr....

Hey Everyone! I had a question about notifications. I turned on both "follow" options in settings. However, while it'll send me emails, it only will notify's me on the site if 1) I'm mentioned or 2) I'm quoted. Any ideas how to get notifications for whenever I post on a board instead of those two things?

I know this is still being set up and worked on, so hope this is not being too ahead of myself. But... NEW stays at the top of each area and even if you click on all the sub forums to get rid of it - each time a new response is made it appears again. Some of these sub forums we do not go into at all as it might be an exchange between X and Y or even something that might not be of interest or our chosen poison. Is there a way to control NEW everytime a comment is made regardless of what sub forum/thread etc? DND
