Alright so I honestly am quite nervous to even just do this.... I've talked a little about how rocky my relationship to my past musical works has been and how I'm trying to get over it and stop seeing myself as inadequate or not living up to my potential musically. I have this thing where I don't want anyone to see my creations from the past and keep saying "I'll make an album that doesn't have any big flaws and THEN I'll share my music" However I recently had a reading done in the triple exchange forum, and I believe it was @Aldor44 who said it was time I released old material. I keep ignoring this and it's time to stop. Now obviously this is not "releas…

Hi Everyone! For those of you who don't me, I'm Stephanelli, one of the moderators and I also run the Creative Tarot Circle here on the forum. Creativity is important part of my expression of myself and my spirituality. 'Witch' isn't a term I often to use to describe myself, but I find I can work my best magic while spinning. I'm inspired by a wide variety of things, often from nature, the tarot, oracle decks and such like but it nearly always ends up in the creation of a new yarn! Naturally, this tends to lead to an abundance of handspun yarn in my life... So it is with great pleasure that I get to tell you that I've recently opened up a new o…

Hi folks. Shameless self promotion time. Sorry in advance, not very good at it! So here's the story. When I was a kid, growing up in Pendle, Lancashire, UK (where the witches came from!), my mum was a Tarot reader and a rare book collector. I grew up with mysticism and magic, it was part of everydaye life. One book I loved was called the Dictionnaire Infernal. Possibly the very first published encyclopedia of magic and the occult. Lots of people have said many things about the illustrations of demons and monsters in the book. They are pretty stunning... However, there are over 500 images in there. And tiny images at that. And when I was…

I wanted to post about a site I had found out about years ago. It is an on-line store of Tarot called Tarot Garden I have purchased a few decks from them, they have reasonable prices and very reasonable shipping terms (U.S.). And if you register with them (free), you can set up a database of your collection - this is based off of their Tarot database, but that is pretty extensive and includes a lot of OOP decks. You can also build a wish-list there as well. ETA; I have no financial interest in this site - it is just a great site in my opinion. Edited to fix the screwed up link I put in ... ::)

I am delighted to announce the Tarot Self Portrait-Challenge! Initially this challenge was meant to be an event just for a Tarot Discord server I administrate, but because the prize support for it grew into an all-star list of prize pledges from quality deck makers, I wanted to make it available to other Tarot communities too so these indie deck makers can hopefully get the exposure they deserve and more tarot readers can have a chance at winning one! Please review the full Rules, Details, and Prizes document prior to participation. Here's the short version of the info: Compose and share Your Tarot Self-Portrait in this community challenge that encourages int…

Just found an area here whilst wandering around the forums and thought I should make the most of promoting my side line ( tarot related ?hmmm however I do see my items adorning the display cabinets of shops that do stock a wide range of tarot in the near future ) and I guess gives a little more of myself to the people I am making connections with so we are all winning 🙂 it’s been a project in the background for a few years but this year I have invested the time and money to get things physically started . its pretty much Lampwork/glassblowing on a smaller scale jewellery / spheres / marbles/ nebulas But check it out if you think it might be your thing …

I've got a half price sale on readings at the Tippy Tea House. In addition to the half price offer, I'm now doing readings with the phenomenal Everyday Enchantment by Poppy Palin. I'm so excited about this new deck and I love doing readings with it. I hope there will be folks who take advantage of my half price sale and the chance to get a reading with Everyday Enchantment. I specialize in relationship readings. Family, friend, spouse, crush---any kind of relationships. I read about whatever suits the sitter, but relationships are my specialty. My Tippy Tea House

I'm planning on launching my Rare Triumphs tarot on Kickstarter next week. It will be an extended version of my Pike and Clover playing cards with the addition of the trump suit (and knights). With old-style artwork in the manner of the Marseilles tarot. If you want to hear about the launch, you can sign up here: https://mailchi.mp/44db14806f8f/skadipress

Many here will remember Roderick Somerville, formerly of Edinburgh and now in France. He of the AMAZING parcels that made it feel like a crime to open them. WELL - I quote: If this might be of interest to you, PM me. And to anyone who doesn't know of him - he is honest and reliable as the day is long. One heads up though - he effectively closed his store some years ago, so very recent stuff isn't likely to be there.

@Joan Marie from Cult of Tarot has just launched a new Lenormand on Kickstarter called 'The Friar's Delight'. I enjoyed the little video she made for it. The music, the medieval-ness (is that a word?!?! LOL) really caught my eye 🙂 I hope it succeeds! The Friar's Delight Lenormand Kickstarter All the cards are viewable on her site: Friar's Delights Lenormand gallery I love the card backs too! Maybe it's lame, but the card backs are pretty important to me 😄 And these look so cool!

Thanks for clicking here. ❣️ I'm just starting out my youtube channel, but I have a clear vision of what type of reading I'm trying to do. still on my way to it but it's really important for me that: - messages that i tell are exactly how i see it in the cards. (no "he still loves you, want you, if its not the case) - themes of readings are ONLY ones that can give you relevant insights and help a reflexion in you growing. For instance, i would rather something like "What obstacles do i need to overcome in order to X" rather than "Who i will marry" If this resonate in you, then, you might like my tarot videos and I invite …

So here is my site: https://www.etsy.com/shop/YourEverydayWitch I opened it late last year but didn't start stocking things until January. In February things starting finally being seen a bit. Questions: 1) Does anyone else find Etsy ridiculous for the fact they get 10 percent of each sale, when you take into account all their fees? 2) Does anyone else find the feedback process also strange? It seems like there's a window, but the window opens later than you'd expect and then is often out of people's minds? 3) Stupid question, on my end: Does anyone know if you can put up a vacation alert? Like, "I'll be away from the 15-25th"? Or something like that? 4)…

The New Liminal Tarot I've decided to take a new direction in card publishing and move away from very small and expensively produced limited editions. Future creations will be affordable and hopefully within the budget of more tarot readers, collectors and enthusiasts than ever before. Existing Limited Editions that are not out of print will still be available on the Fig Tree Press website and (in fairness to collectors), will not be republished in their original form when they are no longer available, if at all. I hope you like The New Liminal - the original large cards have been re-framed and reformatted to a tarot-sized edition of 80 cards, including the tit…

Hi, I'm nord_drache and my business is Your Dreams in Wood by James Lukow and I am located in Lindsay, Ontario Canada. www.yourdreamsinwood.ca First let me thank for giving me permission to post here. Those members who belonged to Aeclectic Tarot may remember me. All items I create are made from domestic species of hard and softwood. I don't do painted finishes as I think this obscures the beauty of the grain - so I use an oil finish on hardwoods and water based urethane on softwoods often stained. Most decoration is done with molding, this will change as I learn to carve. All bowls are hand turned finished with a beeswax based polish. All other turned items…

Hello all! I'd just like to post that I've finished two adaptations of a Milanese-inspired tarot deck. They're called Tarocchi Antichi Pittorici (Old and Painterly), and Tarocchi di Marmo Nero (Black Marble). They're adapted directly from the illustrations in the public domain book, Prophetic, Educational And Playing Cards, but I did embellish some and removed some details (like the Hebrew letters). I ended up with two styles. A more painterly one (the minors are color coordinated) and, something that I ended up really liking, a dark, negative one that reminded me of veins and flecks of gold in black marble. These two will be under a new "studio" I…

I was tapped to be the art director of this project, which was organized by Singaporean Tarotist Rowen Ong. We sourced out different artists from across Southeast Asia to illustrate the myths depicted from our own homelands. It was such a wonderful experience to interact with fellow Southeast Asian artists., and I personally feel it lends a lot of authenticity to the project that the art is created by Southeast Asians living in Southeast Asia, depicting their own cultures. The acronym SEAMS was chosen because in a way it's related to what we did in the project - we "seamed" together the various colorful tapestries of our own native culture's narratives into on…

Many thanks to Regina for cluing me into the existence of this forum! My name is Ed Matuskey, and some of you may remember me from the Aeclectic Tarot forum where I posted for several years about the progress being made towards the steampunk-themed Tarot of Brass & Steam. In fact I give the forum a great deal of credit for helping to get the word out when I ran a successful Kickstarter a few years ago! Well I have great news: the deck is finished, and even as I type it's on a slow boat from China--I'm expecting to have them in hand end of May/beginning of June! That means US preorders are open! Anyone who orders by May 31st will get free shipping (shipping …

Dear Tarot People, In March, I started a YouTube channel with zodiac-based tarot readings. No twin flames, no sugar-coating. It’s decidedly explorative when it comes to possible meanings and storylines—how could it be otherwise when reading for an anonymous audience? I must say, not being able to anchor your message to a specific person and speaking it out loud really accelerates the learning process. I definitely recommend starting a YouTube channel as a learning tool! Or just record your readings without publishing them. Over the past six weeks, I’ve been extremely productive. That might change once I return to the workforce—but who …
