Here is a video that shows the various images from my latest Lenormand deck. Once again it includes second Man Woman cards, an option of an owl as well as Birds. And the various extra cards first introduced with the earlier Gilded Reverie Lenormand project. As before if anyone would prefer to work only with the the traditional 1 through 36 card structure, that can be done. All the additional cards are just that.......extras.... their use optional. If you simply plop down the simplified meanings that are available in any of the easily-found works on RWS-style cards, then you’ve just created one more little cookbook. You haven’t explained any of the thinking behind the cards, you’ve left out smaller insights you’ve gained on cards and card combinations over the years, and you’ve shortchanged an audience of people with a few pages of paper that will be lost immediately. But if you write a real book, it’s far too big to fit in the box, and makes the thing too expensive to produce. For me, anyway. What to do? I went print-on-demand. That way I don’t have closet space …

Back in 2004 I created my first deck, by 2005 before it had even been released, I was aware of how I didn't like it and wanted to re-do it. I asked and then the following year pleaded with the publisher to replace it with a complete re-do (no charge). They were not interested, it was doing well enough so "why fix it if it aint broke" Fast forward nearly 15 years and now I was insisting, update it with my re-do or we have a problem. This finally came down to a one on one conversation with the head of company. Conflict was avoided, we actually got on really well. The Gilded Tarot was reborn as the Gilded Tarot Royale .. Hello lovely people! I am currently running a Kickstarter campaign for my roleplaying game, Everway. Everway uses an oracle deck (called the Fortune Deck) as a component in gameplay. It is, however, quite a beautiful and diversely-inspired oracle deck that can be used independently of the game, and has received accolades from many people experienced in tarot and esoterica. I've talked about my music, but I haven't wanted to share it cause I just... didn't feel like it was ready, I'm starting to get over that, the mix is waaaay off, the sound is not right, but I mean... it's vibey, and I'd like for you guys to know what it's like. I was tapped to be the art director of this project, which was organized by Singaporean Tarotist Rowen Ong. We sourced out different artists from across Southeast Asia to illustrate the myths depicted from our own homelands.
