http://www.daniloff-art.it/Tarocchi gallery/Lenormand Oracle.htm The connection isn't secure for ordering but you can see the deck. I find the banners to be differnt and a cool way to put the inserts in the deck. I like the ship, the house, and the coffin.

Coming this April 2018 from Schiffer, this Card and Book combo by Alexandre Musruck, available separately: The Lenormand Oracle Cards divination deck was inspired by Madame Adelaide Lenormand, a well-known psychic at the time of the French Revolution, and was first realized in the late 1700s. Keeping with the tradition of the clear and consistent symbols of that time, these nostalgic oracle cards can yield practical advice applicable to today’s world and can lead to your finding well-defined and concise answers to your most puzzling questions. 36 Lenormand cards (plus three additional cards for Alternate Man, Woman, and Child) are included. To enhance your reading skil…

To assist those that might be caught between choosing books and what have you. There is not alot of reviews out there about these Encyclopaedias, but found this one just now when googling to see if any. " March 27, 2021 Using Lenormand to investigate Personality, Timing and Health There are three volumes in Björn Meuris’ “Petit Lenormand Encyclopedia” series. Information is a little sparse (I had to order the third volume without a clue as to what was in it) so I’ll write a review of each of the three volumes so you can more easily understand what’s what. But first an overview of the whole series:Volume 1: A overvi…

So all this activity lately in the Lenormand section has got me working with my own deck more. I'm very much a beginner, still working on the basic pairs and triplets. But curiosity struck (happens frequently). What is the benefit of using playing card inserts in Lenormand? What's the point of them? For the record, my current Lenormand deck doesn't have them. I just have the Mystical Lenormand by Regula Elizabeth Fiechter, painted by Urban Trösch.

Would anyone be interested in this? I was thinking perhaps a monthly circle to practise 3x3 readings. I would need someone to help me host it, if we do have enough people who are keen to take part regularly. 🙂 As Lenormand tends to be predictive, here’s a suggested schedule: Week 1: Sign up window Week 2: Partners assigned, readings completed Week 3: Break/waiting to see what happens Week 4: Feedback & discussion Please also let me know if this is something you are NOT interested in doing, now or in the future. It does need decent numbers to work in the long run so that there’s some variety in who reads for who. ☺️

Since schools have reared their heads in a game thread, may I quote from the excellent Toni Puhle: "Schools, to me personally, are a way of saying “I don’t read per the original instructions”. The “schools” as many refer to them are actually simply authors, teachers and readers just using what they are comfortable with. Negative cards often are given a lighter, airier meaning so that deceit and other nasty issues in the world are left out of reads or a convenient "but Foxes are clever" so the card must mean a smart business person - I am not into crowbars so I have no interest in trying to make meanings fit my lifestyle - rather I should take heed whe…

Just wanted to share a Lenormand related story with you all. I am thinning out my Tarot collection so I asked my Lenormand deck where I should photograph these decks before I put them up on eBay. These are the cards I pulled: Whip + Cross + Fox I really had a hard time interpreting this one, initially. I took a step back from racking my brain and went down to make a cup of coffee. While in the kitchen, I thought maybe I should take them in the kitchen after thinking about the Whip and the Cross. Wasn't sold on it. So I walked into my dining room, crashed into the dog, and spilled coffee on my shirt. When I looked up to the sky to choke down my rage…

I did 2 online readings...not much knowledge on lenormand personally..not yet, getting a deck soon...but it was a spread for a goal and both times the outcome was star...I read this usually means yes for an outcome though usually achieved in a way we do not expect it? What do you think?

I'm still fairly new to this forum and English is not my first language. Apologies in advance should this thread turn out to be inappropriate in any way. So...I'm having problems doing timing readings, and it has been bugging me for a while. I know that certain readers do timing predictions with petit lenormand, either by a draw of five or a full GT (namely a timing board). I believe that the host behind the Cafe Lenormand website has a page introducing her method of a timing line of 5, and Chanah in her blog mentioned doing a full board GT with timing associations distributed to every card (should rider fall into the house of clover, for example, that would b…

I wasn't too sure where to post this, so I hope it's in the right place. I have both Lenormand and Kipper decks. The Kipper, for some reason, has felt more accessible and easier to read with, but I am going to dive a bit more deeply into Lenormand and see if I can get comfortable with that system, too. The Kipper and Lenormand don't have a too much of an overlap in terms of similar cards - ones that come to mind are Man/Woman vs Main Person (male & female cards), and Coffin vs Death. Question: for anyone who uses multiple divinatory tools, do you find that you get the meanings of similar cards in the different systems mixed up? Or have you found a way to keep…

It strikes me how many cards Lenormand has for false friendships. Snake and Fox are both people who will lie to you, manipulate you, or trick you. And by the traditional Philippe Lenormand instructions, other cards like Bear or Dog can warn of disloyal or false friends when distant from the Person. Recently i've come to appreciate this quality of LN. Sorting through frenemies and gaslighting. It's not always obvious in Tarot ... but LN has cards exactly for that. Less clear in LN are employment or "work" cards. Which has spawned debate vis a vis. Moon, Fox, Anchor, etc. RWS style Tarot gives very clear employment cards: Kn Pents, Ace Pe…

I came across this Lenormand deck for sale in a website. I quite like the “clean” and vintage aesthetics, but I also noticed that each card has two PCs inserts instead of one, which I had never seen before. Also, the style of the pips in each insert is different, as if they came from different decks. Any idea what they refer to? Have you ever seen a Lenormand like this before? Thanks!

SINK OR SWIM OR WET THOSE TOES TIME! Some of you out there may be curious yet not confident enough to do one yet as it likely seems rather daunting. GT's were my teething ring, so not one or two cards at a time, but the entire spread. No time like today to dive right in. So, if you are interested use whatever system you want. I am fine with either German or French, but as for Dutch, I think that would be stretching my memory muscles a little bit as it has been a few years now since someone shared what differences she knew. Maybe not traditional either. I am aware of a few systems, but French is my favorite and German is what I would use, for this type of GT. …

I have been gravitating to the Vintage German for a couple reasons. One, it has the old images I love and two, love the cardstock, it's really a pleasure to shuffle. The Minute Lenormand gets use. LOVE the bright images Chronata made :) But also reach for the Anna. K and Ancient Lenormand, all the ones in my profile. The Noir is also a fav. But yes, this week, the Vintage German is getting a lot of use. What deck have you reached for...the MOST....lately?

I recently had a Lenormand Grand Tableau reading done by a very experienced Lenormand reader about someone who I believe might be my twin flame, or at the very least, someone I have a strong past life connection with. Full disclosure: I am married, so I am not looking for a romantic relationship (of course, not all TF relationships are romantic anyway). But I do want to meet this person and become friends if at all possible because I feel like we have past life history together. Anyway, I do not know how to do GTs nor am I really good at this yet so that's why I went with a more experienced reader. He was great, and everything resonated with me. I was very sat…

Cheersies! Given how the Lenormand section had been active lately, I felt I could ask if there's a suitable deck. You see, I've often admired Lenormand decks for the high purity of their card symbols - with each card, by default, containing a single symbol only (albeit a vague enough one). And so, I'm looking for a deck which has it's illustrations drawn in a correspondingly simple and pure way. A Fox that looks as close to the concept of the Fox as possible, a House depicted being the very idea of the House and so on - it's a bit hard to explain in detail, but I hope you will understand my line of thought. Are there any decks which, in your opinion, fit my de…

When I am doing readings back to back, sometimes I like to keep using a certain deck, and I switch decks between readings. Just my thing. I grab a "fresh" deck that's in order. Again, just how I roll, we all do it the way we do it. So having more than one of some of the decks I read a lot with helps. They're not back ups, they're literally back-to-back decks. For me, reall's Ancient Lenormand, Seven Stars Vintage Lenormand are two of those decks. While I love other decks, and Robyn's/Chronata's Petit Lenormand Noir is one I am especially, not that easy to get another of. SO which of your Lenormands, FOR WHATEVER REASON, do you have two of, or…

As I thought to myself geez that a green deck I thought at first was just a Marseilles in small lenormand deck style. But as I went through the pictures it came clear it was lenormand done in a Marseille style. Like how the lenormand was done in waite style years ago Upon googling the title, this isn't the first time it was done, But imo this is a way better version I actually like thi…

When we read that the Stork is a migratory bird and that this meaning is applied to some of our readings, does it mean that the card can indicate a sort of homecoming, of return too? Wasn't this meaning more suitable to the Ring, though? Can the two cards have these similar meanings?

Hey everyone, I’m new to the group. I have my great grandmothers 1901 Brepols Lenormand cards. I am learning to read them. Can anyone give me any tips and any history on the cards? I would love to gather as much information on them. I can feel a presence when they are near. I couldn’t figure out how to attach a photo.

Two weeks ago my cousin wanted me to read about his upcoming increment. He said boss had fleetingly mentioned to him on 6th May (Monday) that he will get the increment letter on 10th May (Friday). So I asked the cards about the situation and I got: Mountain, Woman and Bouquet. At that moment it didn’t make any sense to me, as there was no mention of any lady in the conversations I have had with him hence I decided to drop the reading and I never got back to my cousin on the interpretation (I am sorry for not responding to him and he never asked too, guess we both got busy). Today morning when we spoke, I checked with him on his increment. He said he s…

I LOVE mine. There are times it is my go to. So fits with winter for me. I also edged mine in Tim Holtz Pumice Stone, two coats, and it SO matches the gray edges of the deck.

The title says it: Did you come across them? One which made itself known in a little circle is the mountain-coffin (in an otherwise positive 5 card reading, beeing located in the middle). It is the end of a blockade, like a mountain crumbling. It does not feel nice, yet enables to move on. On the other hand, the mountain-mice never appeared with a heads up: The card following it is strongly impeded in its functionality. Which ones did pop up/made themselves known in your readings?
