I don't have the Palekh but it looks very nice! For the Great Russian Standard it came in a box with 2 copies of very good quality.

I don't understand Russian at all, lol. I purchased mine on eBay (it came from Russia). It was an easy purchase and rather cheap.

Honestly, Royal Mail are making a decent amount of money from my tarot obsession!!) Some of the cards from the Akamara Tarot by Lolu, which I'd backed via Kickstarter:

The Original Kipper Wahrsagekarten deck from Germany took three weeks via Australian Global Post (Germany to Great Britain, to U.S.) and Amazon indicated that the shipment had gone LOST and offered me a refund or replacement. The cards sat in Great Britain customs and U.S. Customs for almost a week each. I had faith and waited it out and the cards did, indeed, arrive the day before yesterday. Whew! My new soon-to-read book is the Untold Tarot: The Lost Art of Reading Ancient Tarots by Caitlin Matthews (I purchased two because I'm mailing one to my oldest daughter for her birthday in a couple weeks). I had really wanted to get The Art of Life Tarot someday soon, but waited too long and it's no longer available. Seems to keep happening to decks I'm interested in, so I finally caved on getting one of them at least. Wish I'd picked it up at the semi-local "occult boutique" when I had the chance. I am not sure how they will make out with all this. ☹️ Hopefully I will make good use of this deck! My track record has not been so good up to this point. 😩

I bought the Anima Antiqua versions of the Tarot de Marseille and the Wiener Secession Deck to catch up on the collection. I bought the Dreamweaver Tarot since I had desperately wanted to fund it on Kickstarter but didn't have the financial means to do so at the time. I even paid the extra 5 bucks for express shipping, so I got those three coming in over the next week or two. I also preordered the 3rd edition of the Dark Mansion tarot because my emo soul desperately craves it. That's as crazy as I'm getting since I'm not working right now (the sweet agonies of asthma in the time of Covid), so I gotta use the rest of it on Real Adult Stuff.

This has worked pretty well, but now I've been back to last year's sins again in the last couple of days 🥴 I've recently received the Haindl deck. Still waiting for Rachel Pollack's two Haindl tarot books to arrive. This addition is ok, I deserve this 😌 But two days ago, on a whim, I immediately ordered a deck I then randomly discovered on Facebook: Tarot of Ethereal Light. I don't know what happened, I just immediately fell for the images and the bright colors 🤪 And yesterday, getting an email about the Tabula Mundi new mid-size 79 cards color being available for pre-order. One just doesn't say no to that 😋 It's a hard life, being a deck-addict ☺️

I had fallen off the wagon for a good long time, but now that I'm stuck at home I'm back to lurking on this forum and made the terrible decision to see what's new on Kickstarter. I may end up changing my mind closer to all their respective deadlines, but for now I'm backing three decks. My Dreamweaver should be here sometime this week, but my Anima Antiqua decks aren't arriving till May. Totally understandable why that is, plus they're just going into the hoard so I'm not terribly disappointed by the delay.
Rori Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 I'm supposed to be having a no-buy/low-buy year but this lockdown has me bored out of my mind so I finally made the jump and ordered two decks I've been wanting forever: the Hedgewitch Botanical Oracle and the Ethereal Visions Tarot. I kind of dislike ordering from Amazon because of the way they treat their workers so I asked my local occult bookshop if they could order them, and they did, so they're probably going to take a while to get here... here's hoping I won't get bored again while I wait 😅

It was a pricey deck, otherwise I'd have bought it already, but the artist had one in a damaged box that she offered at a deep discount. She says she thinks the cards are all fine. It's supposed to arrive today and I'm eager to see it!
