If you like minimalism and the color black plus gold - try to divine by staring into a flame. It’s pretty much the same but cost you nothing. And if you don’t like it, you won’t have any buyers guilt or have to think about selling/decluttering a deck. Plus candle scrying is pretty cool. Win win! 😎

I imagine that anyone who browses this forum has access to a candle. I never said they should buy one (unlike @gregory who suggested they buy paper….) It doesn’t have to be your candle or in your home. And why steal from church @Eno when you can simply go there and scry during mass? You people have no imagination!

Alright, help me out here if you can. It's colorful. It's cute. It seems  easy to read in a RWS inspired manner. But ... Do I need a Dragon tarot? Really?

Here is my best attempt to help you out….cute, they may be, but do the dragons really add any new information or perspectives to the cards? Is there any connection between the dragon styles (Anime?, eastern tradition and western tradition)? Whew, that was my best, hopefully you will get more de-enablers🙂

I don’t know about this deck. The colors aren’t quite working for me. And that chariot card. I’m kind of waiting for the dragons to turn and eat him for daring to assume he’s in control. Have you seen a walk through of all the cards? And do you like it because it’s dragons in general, or because it’s this specific dragon deck?

If you need a dragon deck at all - that is not the dragon deck you need. There are many others. Better ones. Take a year or so to investigate. By that time you will know that what you REALLY want is an insect deck. And that is out of print and out of your price range, so you're safe.

I dang near did I spit take when I read that. There are a few decks I like that are out of print. But not enough to pay those kinds of prices. : )

The colors and the imagery of that deck reminds me of those cards that kids used to collect, but no one wants anymore (Pokémon?). The dragons do not look well rendered and the mishmash of scenic elements bother me. A dragon in Asia might look like that (I honestly wouldn’t know), but the ones depicted under northern lights bother me. Here in Scandinavia a ‘dragon’ was historically always a serpent. It didn’t have wings. Also, the baby dragon has really bad dance moves. It looks like a hungry kid that’s standing in line at McDonald’s. Also, the dragons on the charioteer looks like the love children of a T-Rex and a ram. Not a good mix 😬

What's the point in getting a dreagon deck? The facial expressions may to be reduced to the almost similar looking faces in every image. Add that here the symbolism of the RWS also has been reduced - so what are you getting in the end?

Wait, is the Insect Tarot out of print and going for a lot?? It's such a niche deck I wouldn't have figured.

...unless you're joking and didn't know about that one, but this is the *de*-enable thread so I shall refrain.

Agreed the dragon deck you would want is not this one. (Again since this is the DE-enable thread I won't go into which one is better, but they're out there. And not this one.)

Well it's up on ebay for 320 euros and I THOUGHT it was out of print. Either way - it's not cheap, and not easy to buy...

Goodness. That price certainly is de-enabling. And it's true I can't find any way to get a copy of it from the creator. Such a shame, it's a nice deck, I assumed she was going to print more.

Oh, probably not--The Insect Tarot by Loren Sherman was on KS mmmm I want to say last year? Maybe 2020? A real fun deck. Not sure it can be obtained anymore, though. So you're safe.
