...in a tin, no less. 1889 and 1926 (I like the wrapping paper enough that I cut it carefully and will continue to wrap the cards in it.) 8) The 1889. Made to be used! Good quality, but not some uber-expensive thing you don't want to handle too much. The 1926. No TrapperKeeper glitter! The backs. Light and dark marbling, like endpapers in old books. Available at http://thecartomancer.bigcartel.com/, your choice of one or both decks, linen or smooth stock.

I have gotten a new indigo deck. However, there are few cards which get particularly greener than others on the backside. I find it "disturbing" when pulling the card, because I may recognize the particular few cards. I worry if it will influence my pulling of the cards and readings. Should I buy a new deck do you think? Thank you.

We were discussing this deck in another thread, so I thought I'd open up a thread to discuss the imagery and how they relate to either the meanings Kim Krans gives them or other meanings you like to give it! (This is where we originally discussed it) @rosieblack1 🙂

Some of us paid for the whole deck years and years ago. We got the major arcana and a few minor cards. The deck was coming out so slowly that I doubted I live the day to see it in its 78 cards version. Did you got all the cards? Because I came across this on her website: Which means that the deck IS or WILL BE finished very soon.

Not sure if anyone has posted about this one yet? But I don't think I've seen a thread for it so thought I would share here: It's not really my style, but I do love that High Priestess 8)

Apparently Austin Osman Spare's deck has been rediscovered. HAS ANYONE PRINTED IT YET? ? ? ? ? Feast your eyes on these old images and meanings: https://www.pinterest.com/ragnarofl/aos/ I know there's a a book http://strangeattractor.co.uk/shoppe/lost-envoy/ and of course I'll be wanting that, too - but the deck itself?

Mine is late. I saw this on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/646020285536137/permalink/1062724530532375/ and posted this on the Kickstarter comments page: Backer #471 here. I am not accusing anyone of anything at this point, but I have not received my deck yet, either. The messages here could be a simple misunderstanding, the fact that Matt unfriended me on facebook could be part of a normal friends list cleanup, and the fact that my PM there asking for tracking info was seen but not responded to, while unprofessional, could simply be an oversight. But taken together, all of this does raise concerns. I have shared images of the deck on facebook and at a …

Inspired by Raggydoll[/member]'s great find with the Roots of Asia ... What's the best deal you've gotten for a deck? I'm not necessarily looking for what was cheapest - I picked up a deck from Spirit Halloween for 3 bucks and it was ... definitely a $3 deck lol. Let's talk about the decks that you got a great deal on, that also gave you great value to your tarot practice! I'm inclined to think that I bought a deck from techno-faeries. I was desperate for a first edition Quantum Tarot deck, but it's out of print and was pretty pricey on ebay. I grabbed a second edition, used from someone, but still wanted that first one! While waiting for the used second editio…

I was shopping for a Vice Versa kit and found several sellers on eBay pricing the kit at about half of the Amazon price, with free shipping and free returns. Listed as brand new, in perfect condition. I checked the ISBN and these listings are for the kit, not the deck-only. Four-day shipping instead of 2-day, but up to $14.50 less than the big A. I'm wondering how these sellers can price so low. Does anyone know? Maybe they are selling factory seconds without disclosing that? ty

So the As/So folks went ahead and got their deck, the Metamyth Tarot, printed, and are now offering it on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/913928442/the-metamyth-tarot?ref=shop_home_active_1&crt=1 This is very much my jam, thought it might appeal to some here!

I really love this deck, especially the soft art by Hannah Davies and the word placed on the card. It definitely helps my mind connect messages to the card. I also love the idea of affirmations included in the little booklet. This deck is all about the spiritual journey, optimism, and courage. I use this deck when I want to work out the things mixing together my head and heart. I didn't know the names associated with it (Jayne Wallace and Hannah Davies) until I did research for my blog. Does the author and/or artist make a difference in your experience with a deck?

Good morning there! I saw another thread like this and decided to give it a try too. I am looking for deck recommendations for me, as I'm a minimalist when it comes to tarot decks. I don't like collecting, plus I'm on a very tight budget recently. Anyway, to the point. Likes: - Art that is somewhat storybook-like or even a bit abstract, not photorealistic - Natural images - Whimsical images - Quite deep symbolism to explore - Balanced gender representation Dislikes: - Digital art - Decks that are strictly based on one belief system, for example Wiccan or Celtic Indifferent about: - System - I like both the RWS and the Thoth and I'd try decks that don't f…

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1244376122/materia-prima?ref=section-homepage-projectcollection-3-staff-picks-newest oddly enough I just read a book about the periodic tables...I'm all over this! I only see the extra cards that make up the whole table, but I'm think this would make a great oracle. I look forward to what they come up with for the standard deck.

https://www.aellopublishing.com/product/majestic-earth-tarot He is clearing out some 2nd, at Very good prices. It won't take long for them to be gone. I think the 2nds are gone now, but there are some 3rds, and 4ths 🙂 I wasn't interested when it first came out, then recently purchased one from a member here and it is one of the most stunningly visual decks I own. So just sharing the info here.

Hello, I have been looking for a rare gay tarot deck. Called The Gay Male Tarot created by Jason Davitt. I would love to purchase the deck or find a resource where I can see the whole deck. It is a black and white erotic tarot deck.. it has extra cards in I also.. Not much is shown online I'm afraid. Any help would be appreciated.

I personally think making/using/supporting AI art, at least as it exists right now, is unethical, but I don't want to potentially start drama by debating that. This is not that discussion! Instead, I'm curious what opinion people here have on whether AI art is useful for divination. I'm probably not the only person who's seen AI art tarot decks popping up on Kickstarter, but that's what got me wondering. Can art created by an algorithm have the same - metaphysical? I'm not sure what the right term is here - value as art created by a human artist? Can AI art be used for divination, or is it lacking something that human-created art has that is nece…

An official Ghostbusters tarot is coming out. It is due end of May this year (delayed from January'24). You can already preorder it now from the big online sites. It's from Insight Editions which I know has mixed reviews here. In the UK and Europe it seems to be published by Titan Books, I wonder if they are an imprint now for IE!? Press Release:- Let Egon, Peter, Ray, Winston, and ghastly ghouls guide your tarot practice with this spooky tarot deck and guidebook inspired by the classic Ghostbusters movies! Featuring all-new illustrations of your favourite characters, this tarot deck and guidebook is a unique addition to your G…

So, The London Tarot Conference is this weekend - 10-11th October, 2025, at the Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington. I shall be attending virtually. AND - I have just received this in the post today. I wasn't expecting it to arrive until after the conference. Arcana 78. by Kin Arnold & Chris Butler I LOVE IT It has people I know, have met, have heard speak on stage, or have learned about in the epitomes of history. I am already campaigning to have it produced in waterproof stock. For anyone wishing to purchase, you can get a copy here: http://tarotconference.co.uk/booking/#arcana78

It's true! There's an edition of Shadowscapes out that is slightly bigger! The catch, though, is that it's not in English. But, it does exist - the Czech edition of Shadowscapes is bigger & gilded in gold! It's so lovely. The image in the top right shows how the card, with the borders fits right into the space the image gets on the Czech version. So, it's basically as if it was printed the same size, but borderless as for as the size of the image. Except it keeps the borders and gets loooooovely gold edges! The card stock is a bit thicker as well. I got mine on eBay, so I don't know if it's even easily available these days, but if you love Sha…

How many have had a fav for a long time, but then they fell in love with another deck and their once favorite got pushed to the side? I don't mean just a new fancy, but that your favorite was replaced by one you just loved MORE. I have been thinking about this and it's not so much a deck has been really replaced, but more a STYLE of a deck. The Pamela Centennial by US GAMES has just been my go to, then the one without borders came out and now I am looking at reall's Vintage. Just kind of different takes on the same deck, but I am feeling a bit of a loyalty shift here. Anyone else had a LONG TIME fav that you dumped for another?

I've experienced this multiple times throughout my practice and I'm very curious if there's anyone else who has noticed this. Do you have any deck/decks that you feel have very noticeable "personalities"/unique energies about them? For example, the cards respond very well to certain questions/subjects but give chaotic or unintelligible answers to other specific topics, or a certain decks providing readings that are noticeably more negative/positive than what you are used to, that sort of thing. (I hope I explained this properly...) For me, I have 2 specific decks which have consistently exhibited this phenomena: Tarot of St. Petersburg (which gives very bleak, very p…
