I had the Medieval Cat Tarot, which I did really like. Couldn't stand the smell of the laminated stock tho. I also didn't use that much and traded. But I liked the images. The pips were a cross between RWS and TdM. Illustrated, but more subtly. I am thinking of getting ONE cat deck this year, but haven't decided which, so I shall be perusing this thread to see what all of you have

I wonder if this is an impossible-to-answer question. Which decks are NOT based on RWS, Thoth, Astrology, Kabbalah, nor any religion, yet have more than just pip cards for the minors?

Hi – new member here, posting for the first time. Please advise if you think I am doing something unethical or not. I have occasionally made my own copies of OOP decks that retail for many hundreds of dollars – if I ever win the lottery I plan to go back and buy any available of these real decks, but barring that unlikely occurrence I will never be able to afford them. In the meantime, I have downloaded pictures of the cards and printed them at home. The resulting deck is obviously a copy and would fool no one into thinking it is an original. Does anyone have or have any experience with the American Renaissance Tarot? Being a bookish person, I am drawn to this tarot, though it seems it would be more of a personal reading deck than one used for others.

I found this drawing of Pythagorus and fell in love with how much it looks like he could be the Magician - even has the 'as above so below' symbolism. I would LOVE a deck like this. Are there any Hellenic decks that you recommend? The only ones I've seen are the Mythic and some that either have images that don't seem to relate to the card (and no explanation in the white book as to why it was used) and others that mix Roman in with Greek. I'm so tempted by the Mythic, but the High Priestess looks disinterested and jaded 😬

Hi again you lovely people, and @gregory - another mystery if you can solve it for me please. This Tarot card reader on YouTube also does not disclose which tarot deck she is using. So I have clicked the pics while I was playing one of her tarot sessions. Apologies that the Pics are not HD quality. Anyone know of a good angel deck... So far have.. angel therapy oracle-not really happy with this...it seems to cater only to new age/spiritualist type people with i guess I am but can't really use this for other people and it's a bit cliche daily guidance from your angels oracle-love it, first angel oracle ever and love it's energy angel tarot-nope...weird energy, weird vibes using it..weird experiences using it but I still do for angel readings at this time and it works ok but I don't feel any special connection to it...it just sorta creeps me out -__- I was actually super excited to buy this deck but believe it or not I was on my way with someone to pick …

I just noticed this deck on Kickstarter yesterday: the Angel-Evoking Tarot. With still 22 days left in the campaign, it's already funded 625%. It looks interesting and people who supported the last deck made by the same artist are raving about the quality that he puts into his creations. I'm really looking forward to this one.

I received the LoS Anima Antiqua version of the Sola Busca deck today (found a decent price online for an unopened copy) and was surprised to discover it is not the original artwork. I looked around on the forums here but haven't seen this discussed. So I suppose the new museum quality deck coming out from LoS this summer must not be the original art either. It is a superb copy apparently painted in the 19th century. The artist must have been a professional forger. It's astonishingly good. (Not the cheesy on e from about 20 yeas ago!) Has anyone been discussing this?

I've wanted some nice animal decks for ages but after taking a long break from checking forums or looking at new deck releases, I feel like I'm very out of the loop! I could use some suggestions and advice. I've been looking at the Tarot of Pagan Cats again, because I've wanted it for years. I always think it’s a bad sign when Tarot decks are advertised or their boxes only show Major Arcana Cards. I like illustrated pips. When they don’t show any pips I have to research the deck to see if the minors are more RWS or TDM. Most of the time when the box or ad don’t show minors they are not illustrated minors. This, I think, is a bit of cheat. I respect tarot artists, but I guess it’s just easier to have a collection of the four suit items than to make a scene with them. A while back, I fell in love with the 3 deck Oracle of Oddities, by Black and the Moon, which are now out of print. The artwork is just so beautiful and I've been impatiently hoping that they would come out with a Tarot Deck. Imagine my happy surprise when I visited their site yesterday and found the Antique Anatomy Tarot available for Early Bird pre-order. So excited to get this stunning deck.

I see that the Hexen 5.0 is about to come out and it appears to be right down my alley, but so does the Hexen 2.0, which was reprinted last year. What I want to know is how those who have the 2.0 have found using the deck? It's suggested for group readings, and I think this would be a great way to discuss what's going on in the world and the machinations behind what we see (as opposed to what they're doing that we don't and their motivations - or whose motivations).
