Tarot Decks

This is a poll, plan and simple. A head count. Not a discussion thread. not a "merit" thing. Just - which deck did you use most last year. You may name two, but not more than two. And one should be a tarot deck, please. If you name more, I will only count the first two.. I do not want to know why, but if you have a truly exciting reason, you can PM me with it ! Please, just name it. At the end of the month (as in February 1, so everyone gets a WHOLE month) I will simply count them and post the result. I was going to put up a poll - but realised that as I have no idea which decks might come up - I can't.

If you're destined to be stranded on a desert island and you can do nothing to avert your fate BUT you can prepare for it by packing at most five (5) decks in advance, which would you bring with you? The only rule is that you must have at least one Tarot and one non-Tarot deck - the other three may be any deck at all. You may also bring two cartomantic books with you if you like. ^-^ Note: I know bringing decks and books in a survival situation sounds quite impractical, but just humor me lol. After all, this is a Tarot forum. :))

I hope I chose the correct area to post this theme. What are your tarot wishes right now? I'd like to purchase a mini Albano Waite someday. Gladly a new edition with nice colors and maybe in a tin. My second wish would be a new edition of the Bohemian Gothic with cold-stamping. In case I can afford it. That's all for me. I'd like to read your wishes, if you want to share. 🙂

Which one was your very first type of deck you used tarot, oracle, cartomancy, lenormand etc? For me the very very first type of readings and deck i used was when i was still underaged i think i was somewhere between 15-17 i was doing a type of cartomancy with a literally handmade poker deck i made which later i replaced with a nice one i found with a nice black detail and backing it was a popular type of readings we were doing in Greece there was a standard one which was the most popular cause it had its very theirs meanings to each card and way of reading and i think it was also an addition to some ppl who where also doing coffee cup readings here a celtic cross an…

I've never heard of this artist before, but a feature on this deck crossed my dash today and I just had to share https://www.zekeslunchbox.com/zekes-arcana/ This is not at ALL my usual style, but I kind of love it??? Reminiscent of the Tarot of the Silicon Dawn, maybe, which is a dear favourite of mine. Only more PINK. (Not a bad thing.) Looks like this is a very long way from completion, but I like where it's going!

Coming this Spring 2018 from US Games - the Zillich Tarot in a Tin. It's a Thoth-based deck that features intriguing watercolor artwork from Christine Zillich. The initial printer proofs from USG made its Thoth inspiration more evident, with the corresponding Hebrew letter displayed for the Majors and the Thoth keyword shown for the minors. Sadly, no astrological correspondence symbols are shown. The USG release will come with English text, as shown below. The imagery is different from the Thoth since the minors display full images and not pips. The majors and courts also diverge from the Thoth. Winslow Dumaine, creator of the Tarot Restless, has just recently added 12 expansion cards to the aforementioned deck, which he named The Zodiac Retrograde. The first time I saw them I was in awe. If you're into strange, creepy, and disturbing Tarot decks, this one is simply a must-have. As Dumaine wrote in his website:
