Maybe a deck you had an interesting reading experience with or the deck or decks you read with the most? You can pick your choices however you like. Every member can vote for 2 decks and one of them must be a Tarot deck, the other can be any kind of card deck you like Vote for your 2 choices by posting the names of the decks in this thread but to make it easy to colla…

For anyone that has been or may be interested in the Sakki Sakki Tarot and companion book Playing with Symbols, you can get on the inside track here for a link to be emailed to you for preorder. It says the decks will be available February 15. Once you provide sign up, you will receive an email to a video where she shares her creative process. She shares in this updated release there will be heads on the images, some color changes, and extra cards. The book will have two additional chapters, if I am remembering correctly. Here is the link to her website: https://sakki-sakki.com This is from the forum Deck Library.

Hi, I’m new to Tarot, Tea & Me. My name is Bonnie. I first was introduced to tarot in the early 70’s…and started reading for friends, clients seriously in the past 15 years. I’m excited to be a part of this community! I’m looking for the name of a specific tarot deck & although I have contacted a reader on youtube for the name I receive no response. I’m seeking help to find this tarot deck. Any suggestion? I have a picture but not sure how to post on this blog. Thank you, Bonnie

Does anyone have this deck? I am curious what others here may have to say about it - quality, reading with, etc. It has mixed reviews on YouTube. https://www.etsy.com/listing/958184719/serpent-and-the-peacock-tarot-cards-and

Which one was your very first type of deck you used tarot, oracle, cartomancy, lenormand etc? For me the very very first type of readings and deck i used was when i was still underaged i think i was somewhere between 15-17 i was doing a type of cartomancy with a literally handmade poker deck i made which later i replaced with a nice one i found with a nice black detail and backing it was a popular type of readings we were doing in Greece there was a standard one which was the most popular cause it had its very theirs meanings to each card and way of reading and i think it was also an addition to some ppl who where also doing coffee cup readings here a celtic cross an…

I've been pondering this idea for a while. I'm not at a loss for tarot decks but there are always those that I wish I'd been able to purchase when they first came out or those that others have acquired recently that I find intriguing but have been unable to afford because of current circumstances and that will likely be unavailable by the time the wheel, once again, turns in my favor. I don't intentionally collect tarot decks but I currently have just under 100 of them and no, I am not going to "cull the herd." Banish the thought! My taste in artwork has changed over the 15 years since I was reintroduced to the cards. I would have liked to been able to ge…

My journey with Stella’s tarot began quite a number of years ago when I first watched the Korean tv drama ”Mawang” (’Lucifer’). It is a really well made but rather lengthy mystery series which heavily features tarot and psychism. The show is available for free on Youtube, with English subtitles. (Just type in 'Mawang Lucifer 1' and you will find the playlist). The deck they had selected for the show was, as I later found out, called Stella’s tarot. This deck was created by Stella Kaoruko and painted by Takako Hoei. The images are really suggestive and there was something about the deck that spoke to me deeply. I decided I wanted to acquire a copy and do my best to find ou…

I noticed Hay House stopped gilded decks after they got reprinted i don't know if they did that to all of their decks? Also did anyone noticed a difference in their decks in general on cardstock? I still adore the packaging thought and thick guidebooks just noticed a difference? Also as a bit boujee reader 😅 which publisher/s print gilded decks now? Idk i think it's like they're not as many now?

After picking up my waterproof, Samhain Deck of the Bastard again, for the last, new moon reading, I'm addicted 😁. I remembered the shuffle being fantastic but oh my god, it riffles like butter. This got me wondering. Are there any other decks printed on that same, buttery soft, waterproof stock that tarotbyseven uses? I thiiiiink her decks are usually printerstudio but not sure about the waterproof stock. I believe the Ellis Deck still has a waterproof version for now (wish I'd sprung for that instead of my standard deck but I was feeling cheap at the time) but do you guys know of any others? I can't really justify 3 versions of Deck of the bastar…

Some of us paid for the whole deck years and years ago. We got the major arcana and a few minor cards. The deck was coming out so slowly that I doubted I live the day to see it in its 78 cards version. Did you got all the cards? Because I came across this on her website: Which means that the deck IS or WILL BE finished very soon.

A recent discussion started by @Scarlet Woodland about favorite new mass market decks got @Misterei and I discussing black and white decks. Oddly, I couldn’t find a thread about this subject so if this is a duplicate, please shift accordingly. Happy to keep a previous thread moving. Where are you when it comes to two color decks? I have Ship of Fool’s Tarot - just opened it for this discussion although it has been on my mind all week. I’ve found a lot to ponder and consider in the guidebook which I like because thinking outside of the box is a personal goal of mine. However, a good guidebook does not necessarily make for a good reading deck relati…

I've been staying mostly out of the loop for the last few years, only catching the scent of the Phantomwise Tarot, Hush Tarot, and a couple new editions of old favs (really enjoying all of these). I see lots of discussion online about shiny, new indie decks but less about the more accessible, new mass market decks. I'd love to know what I've missed and see affordable, mass market decks get some love. So, which new decks from the last few years have you been enjoying/coveting? Which were your favs?

How do you spot if a rare oop deck is an original or fake? And which places/sellers you prefer and trust to get these decks from?
-
I've never been much of a deck collector ... limited space. But after moving to larger digs ... I recently started collecting. Yes, the flip-throughs save me from buying decks I won't ever use ... but I still might purchase a deck thinking it will be great to read with ... and nothing. Then another deck I feel hesitant about ... and BAM! Instant rapport. Curious, right? I have instant rapport with some decks I didn't expect ... and NO rapport with some decks I thought I'd love. By no rapport I mean I don't trust the reads the deck gives me. Like reading with it just feels "off" ... and I reach for another deck I do trust to do a clarificati…

Do you prefer new or used decks? If you don't mind how you cleanse and connect with them? Personally if it's a rare one/I can't find and on a good condition i don't mind I personally cleanse all my decks and at the same way especially when i first get them so pretty much i just put the deck in order and usually just choose an incense and i pass through it the whole deck few times before and after i pass each card through it then i put it on my selenite bar overnight with some intentions and cleansing crystals above it according to deck type i like full moon baths too and also hold it and see study its cards for a while maybe start with one card a day befor…
