I’ve seen it too. And I talked myself out of it. It was seriously cute but I very rarely get any use out of my cute decks.

And the Mustergerg guide book is fun, it comes with lots of cheeky satirical advice for carnival fortune tellers! @NoellaRoyce did you see the spooky cat tarot? I made a thread about it somewhere, but it's on kickstarter and planned for a halloween release, it's really cute. I use the Mystical Cat for when I'm feeling feline-oriented (The one animal deck I use sometimes), but I do love those kittoon decks that capture their essence particularly well.

bookshop Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 I emailed the brother of Neil Lovell, the late designer of the Malpertuis studio, about an unrelated question, and in the course of the exchange realized that he still had a number of the studio decks for sale, including !! some remaining copies of the Tyldwick. I thought these were out of print, but he said he had about 10 decks left, so if anyone else wants a copy of the deck, you should email him!! He's selling it at or around its original price, I think. I was on the fence because I know I just said I was going to stop buying cards after my last haul arrived, plus I'm still waiting on 3 other decks that were all supposed to ship to me by the last week of September, sob. But it just seemed like the kind of vanishing opportunity that shouldn't be missed. So now there are copies of the Tyldwick Tarot, the Old Arabian Lenormand, and the Silson Lenormand wending their way to me. It is just like the first edition, lol, except for the card backs, which are the same as the limited edition, and the finish/edges. Which are this nice shiny gold color! Everything else is the same, box, cards, all. I am really excited about the different finish, though, bc the first edition cards tend to stick together and can be really hard to shuffle. Seems like this version is much improved.

zedekiel Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 I'm SO excited and there's possibly no one else better to share this excitement with than you guys since I've been ghostly lurking this thread the last while seeing everyone else's excitement for their decks so I know you'll understand!!! I just ordered my first ever SECOND deck! I guess, technically it will be my only-ever SECOND deck but I suppose I just mean.... My first ever deck after my first ever deck!! I love my first deck a lot but it seems more suited for personal readings so I've been on the lookout for a deck to get to read for others and for wider scope readings. I'm pretty particular about imagery but a couple months ago I came across THE MAGICIAN LONGS TO SEE - Twin Peaks Tarot deck. I fell in love with it! It's seems perfect for me! Twin Peaks is a very spiritual show for me that affected my life greatly and I think the artist's rendition on these is stunning! But it was only available through a 2016 indiegogo campaign so I thought the only way to get it would be to blow $400 bucks on ebay that I didn't have. Luckily, I emailed the artist a fan letter and he got back to me this month (I thought I was out of luck after a couple weeks of waiting) and has now shipped out one of the few remaining copies he happened to have left as extras from the campaign! I am so thrilled, overjoyed, and ECSTATIC to receive this deck, I can't wait!!

I often think people don't realize how accessible the tarot artists are and how happy they get when they hear from us! I emailed Lynyrd Narciso a while back about his decks and he sent me the nicest letter in response! He seemed thrilled to get the email. And you never know what nice things can come from emailing the deck creators! Congratulations!

I pounced on the Casanova Tarot by Lo Scarabeo. I've wanted it for literally years but have always passed it by. I was afraid it would go out of print before I got it. I 'm so excited now! I'm glad our mail comes in the mornings right around my waking up time because that means if I stay up extra late on Tuesday night so I'll sleep in a wee bit later on Wednesday, I should be able to pop out of bed and get the deck out of my mailbox without suffering through most of a third day waiting for the deck to arrive. I could have been more frugal with my serendipitous windfall but I just couldn't help myself. The fact that the Amazon thing said "only three left in stock" didn't help any. Of course I justified the purchase to myself with the idea that there wouldn't ever be another Casanova deck listed on Amazon if I missed out on getting one of the three. Come on now----we never know for sure, do we? 🧐 My little windfall didn't amount to enough for me to pay the $20 here to be one of the paid readers. If it had been, that would have been my first choice. As it is, though, I'm still very excited to have the Casanova deck. I've wanted it for so long.
