Greetings everyone, My sis is visiting in October and I want to buy her a RWS deck to take back when she flies home. But the hideous (to me) picnic tablecloth style backing I had on my last one wouldn't appeal to her. can any of you recommend an edition that has an alternative back? Thanks so much, I thinks she'll appreciate it.

Hello I would like to introduce to You a new Tarot deck which I am a co-creator of. The deck is called "The Dark Mansion Tarot" and it's kept in Victorian-Burton style. It will be released in about 2-3 months, but already You can follow the progress and watch new published card graphics. (just find tarotecastudio on facebook) I invite You to visit and add your opinion :)

I've been keeping an eye on Taroteca Studio, the makers of Dark Mansion, ever since I received a sample card for an upcoming deck of theirs when I ordered my copy of Dark Mansion. https://taroteca-studio.com/en_US/n/3 The Slavic Legends deck should be out in Fall or so, and I love the samples so far. Such great art, and a subject I really enjoy (I have a few similar decks, like Velga North's Forgotten Legends).

Looking for something darkish, think Bohemian Gothic vibe or just ANYTHING new, unique that follows RWS. Any recommendations from 2020 - 2021? I just got the Borderless sister of the Centennial from USG and ordered reall's Vintage Pamela, but looking for something just different, but a read out of the box RWS. Before that, it had been over three years without a new deck. TT and ME-ers? Any suggestions? Would love to hear your favs or upcoming purchases, something about to be released you can't wait for.

Hello everyone, I just saw the Nightmare Before Christmas tarot and am wondering if anyone has this deck? If so, is it a dream to read with it? Or not so much. Are the cards sturdy or low quality? Have you guys done any reading with it? I love the movie and the cards looks interesting, but not 100% sure about it. So what are your thoughts about this deck?

I'm wondering about decks that don't depict humans, besides animal-centric decks. For example, the Tyldwick and the Spacious Tarot are themed around spaces. Tell me about the decks you like (or don't like) in this vein! :D Whether they show objects, places, or whatever else, I'd love to know what's out there.

Hi all, ...does anyone have Nora Huszka’s Starlight Dragon Tarot? I am very curious about this deck…but it’s expensive, with shipping it’s $66 & change….It’s just a bit pricey for me when I have not heard a lot of chatter about the deck. I have Nora Huszka’s Gypsy Palace Tarot and love it….it is one of my favorite decks…but I question spending $66 plus change to appease my curiosity….anyone have the deck? Thanks all Nora Huszka’s Starlight Dragon Tarot

I'm late on posting this here, but the long awaited Numinous Tarot has it's kickstarter up. Almost 200% funded with 12 days left! For those of you who need/want to wait for release, 25k will get more decks printed for later. Estimated release is Feb 2018. Just wanted to let people know, since this news might have gotten lost in the events of the last month.

I am LOVING this deck I stumbled across on Facebook. It is a woodland deck based all on native UK animals. You can sign up to follow progress here on the website, or follow on Instagram. According to the co-creator Stephanie Burrows a Kickstarter campaign is coming in March 2020!

Last week I was feeling very nostalgic so I reviewed the 2 decks that I learned Tarot with (Robin Wood and Tarot of the Old Path) back in the early 90’s. To see that they are still in print made me smile 😊 I was amazed at how quickly some decks go OOP in comparison, good decks. Are there any old decks that make you feel nostalgic?

There was a deck over ten years ago...it had beautiful computer generated scenes. The artwork was not as fluid as Tarot of the Elves, more basic. I remember the people as being like robots or general models of people without specific features. The cards were pretty small, too small for the artwork and I think it had a lot of color-coded dots and so forth in the borders. It was from a major publisher, but never a very popular deck. I looked at the "computer generated" list on Aeclectic and didn't see it. If anyone can remember what this deck was called I would like to know. Thank you!

Well, I had to have a thread opposite the DARK SIDE. Honestly, I have no sugary sweet or even lightly sweet decks. Would love to hear about all of yours. What decks do your gravitate towards when you need something light and airy?

Hi, all! I've been thinking lately about decks that are "one-card wonders" for me — where there are certain cards I relate to extremely strongly, or fall in immediate love with, but can't bring myself to splurge on the whole deck for because the overall design/art/them/whatever just isn't quite there for me. Examples for me include: - the 10 of Swords from the Venetian Tarot: This stole my breath the first time I saw it but the rest of the deck just has never clicked for me. - The three of swords from the Wooden Tarot: I love this card but never fell in love with the rest of the deck the same way The Ostara Tarot: I…

Hello All So curious if anyone else used this deck and there opinion of it? It’s a gorgeous deck that focuses more mythology and shamanism. However it’s the first deck I’ve every used that doesn’t follow the usual Rider-Waite format for each card. Unique but does make it hard to read at times.

I'm looking for advice on pairings for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Tarot, but also thought this thread could be used to post your favorite tarot+oracle pairings.

I need help with finding tarot decks with orange backsides. I have looked, but there are so many decks so I thought that you will know some by heart. One other tarot lover/medium said that I should read with a deck with orange backside this year, but I never found one in time so I ended up with one with lilac backside instead. So I hope you can help me find one before this years end and that I can use it next year instead. Thank you!💖

I don't think we have a thread on this deck yet? I saw a post today from the creator on her Facebook page saying that it will be available in August 2019. Yay! It's funny because I would say usually this is not the kind of art I go for in a deck, but I think this one is absolutely GORGEOUS and from what I've seen am definitely tempted to add it to my collection. I haven't seen any other details, i.e. whether it will be a crowdfunding or straight pre-order/order, etc. Maybe someone else knows more!

This looks like a magical deck. I want it. However the reviews say the printing wears easily and is thin, slick and small. They say there was an original, larger, better quality deck printed and you can get it on Ciro's site or somewhere else. I can't find it. I was on his site and looked everywhere. I would rather pay more for the larger, better quality original deck but don't know where to find it. Anyone know?

I mentioned this in the thread on the reprint of the Oracle of the Radiant Sun, but thought it should be shared here in Tarot Decks too that the ORIGINAL Mythic Tarot will be coming out in a newly published edition by Eddison, coming Autumn 2019. There are some details in the Eddison catalogue here- go to page 29.
