Tarot Decks

Bren Marnell's Pacific Northwest Tarot will once again be available for purchase some time tomorrow on his Etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/PNWTarot This deck was funded via KS I think late 2020 or so. A really lovely deck of flora and fauna from Western Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia. A few notes from him on the new edition: I've not seen anything from him in terms of the promotion, so if you're interested in that you might want to sign up for the mailing list.

I'm quite interested in studying Santa Muerte as a phenomenon, and I've considered reaching outside my religious lines to get this deck. But there seems to be two other decks that are Santa Muerte themed, is that correct? I've seen the Santa Muerte Tarot by Fabio Listrani, but there's another one by Berbera? https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/tarot-de-la-santa-muerte-berbera/1121315628 Also, can anyone identify this deck? https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=oBrlkLAh&id=DF6D63B0E164C5FB992D56C371CD0737A59F6AB2&thid=OIP.oBrlkLAhFa5ItsEX2TwBuQHaGi&mediaurl=http%3a%2f%2fwww.fotothing.com%2fphotos%2f887%2f8873ef62278447c0e16dda556c29df6d_c36.…

Does anyone have this deck? I love the look of art decks but I've always avoided them as I try to get decks that are readable (for me) rather than just for collection, but this one really called to me. Oh my! Where to I start? This deck gives me the most amazing readings, which is surprising as I prefer busy decks. I don't know what it is about it, but it opens my intuition and just reads so smoothly and gives me an additional perspective. I don't usually discuss cardstock, but dang it's so lovely and heavy, the gilding is beautiful and it shuffles so beautifully. I have a deck with thin cardstock and I'm perfectly happy with it, but this feels so beaut…

So, got my first tarot deck & picked based on my visual interest. Inciatory Golden Dawn Tarot deck. i searched about Golden Dawn & felt i probably bit more than i can chew? there's heavy simbolism in e/card and i think the inicial GD had a strong Cábala inlfuence of which i know nothing about. i also read some bad critics about this particular deck for the imagery of the naked women & that some drawings didn't make sense. so, the deck is there not being used (i haven't even cleanse them yet) what are your opinions about this deck if any?

Really enjoying this deck I recently bought on eBay and whilst searching for a backup I noticed the version I have (see image) differs from those available new or secondhand online. Was wondering whether anyone has any more info on or has come across this particular version? The only date on the packaging or booklet is the 2000 Copyright on the bottom of the box and is rather oddly called The Crystal Tarots where as the other versions I've seen drop the 's' from Tarots. The ISBN-10 matches that of the version available to be bought new, however the layout differs slightly on mine with the Italian text at the bottom of the cards and the English, Spanish, French…

I know nothing about this except the attached picture, and that it is supposed to be released in June 2018. This one won't be for me...I'm not a big TV person so I know a lot of the references will be lost on me. (I already don't know two of the shows in this picture!) But I'm sure a lot of people will love this!

Anyone else interested in compiling a list of decks made by taking an artist's existing body of work and assigning them to cards? Regardless of how you feel about this type of deck, I still think its a good thing to know about a deck that you own or are considering, and its not always immediately obvious. The List so far: Nicoletta Ceccoli Manara Edmund Dulac Banksy John Bauer WPA (Kickstarter; various art deco posters) Rackham The Hieronymus Bosch (Kickstarter, some editing to isolate elements or for restoration purposes) VTP (Kickstarter; various vintage posters) Fantastic Menagerie (J.J. Gran…

Saw this on Facebook last week......I keep looking back at it. I have been wanting a cat deck. Anyone got this one? Thoughts? Any better cats decks?

Just came across this while searching for something else - amusingly not tarot related! - and it's caught my eye. Anyone else have it or know anything about it? There doesn't seem to be an English version, but Amazon UK have it in stock.

Hi everyone I am new here I have been reading a while but when it comes to readings for myself I’m not seeing the reading clearly as if I am being biased to myself I guess - I have been trying to concieve a second child for over 2 years with no success and I just started asking the cards the question again if I will ever get pregnant agian / have another baby… I keep getting the 8 of pentacles every single time … to me it just means still need to work on it and honestly I’ve been working on it so I guess I’d like to see anyone else’s interpretations on fertility and the lovely 8 that’s slapping me in my readings Please and thanks 🙏

hi all, v here! this is my first post! just wondering if anyone on here has ever used the Gilded Tarot deck and if they'd like to share their experience with it. i've been using the deck for over a year now.

https://www.penguinrandomhouseretail.com/book/?isbn=9781984824660 This is the artist's site: https://www.artstation.com/fgissubel The cards and guidebook for this set do not mark the suit for the Minor Arcana, so I did a marathon session of laying out each card with its Thoth and Waite counterparts (pocket deck versions). Strength = Wands Intelligence = Swords Wisdom = Cups Charisma = Pentacles I used a gold Sharpie to make small marks of my own. At least the guidebook has color pics of the individual cards!

So there is this little gift store in my godforsaken Bible Belt town that, surprisingly enough, has started selling Tarot decks! (Well, mostly Tarot decks; they also had the Fairy Lenormand Oracle and an oracle or two, including the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit.) It is attached to a café where I went to get breakfast today, after getting done some routine lab work for my next doctor's appointment. They sell a concoction called Frank's Crowbar with four shots of espresso in it that will make you grow hair in your chest, and pretty good scones. And I was surprised to find there, in a gigantic yellow box, Lo Scarabeo's Tarot Original 1909. . M…

From the folks who did the Rust Belt Arcana - a truly amazing American Midwest deck - is a new deck: https://beltpublishing.com/products/tarot-deck-great-lakes I'm not sure how well these decks will read for non-Americans, but I've found the Rust Belt Arcana, along with Slow Holler, to have wonderful synergy. They're definitely off the beaten path for a tarot deck, yet for someone from the US and especially these regions they're highly evocative. David Wilson is truly amazing.

The artist has indicated they want to do a second printing but aren't sure when they can do it. May 9, 2022. May the odds be ever in your favor!

Can anyone recall the name of a deck that has an image of a werewolf in either the two of cups or the lovers? I'm pretty sure the deck I'm searching for has it in the two of cups but for the life of me I can't remember which deck it is. Initially, I thought perhaps that was some alternative card I'd forgotten in the Bohemian Gothic Tarot, but no. It wasn't there. It has to be a deck I own (things are somewhat packed up right now) and I don't have any vampire or werewolf decks. Anyone?

https://www.usgamesinc.com/tarot-neocolonial-de-las-americas.html I found this on US Games Systems today and it looks interesting. It's very political and also appears inclusive. I might have to make that investment.

I was sure I posted a thread about the Stretch years ago but maybe not, cannot find by searching. I wanted to make a deck thread about the Stretch decks 🙂 Joseph Stretch made the collage style Stretch Tarot 6 years ago in 2016, published and put all it together himself at home A few years ago he followed it up with his J.E Stretch Lenormand Deck with the same art style Here is the tarot in our library.... He sells his decks from his own shop but had Kickstarters with various extras to sell each deck at first. The decks are created by collages of vintage images and some of his own art work and a variety of methods ha…

Maybe you guys knew this already (I'm usually the last to know ANYTHING), but I have not seen this announced anywhere else. So, for those who are Johnny Come Latelys like myself, here it is: there is a new edition of Kat Black's OOP Touchstone Tarot, by US Games: https://www.usgamesinc.com/touchstone-tarot.html#:~:text=The Touchstone Tarot by Kat,art gallery in a box. For those like me who love Kate Black's magnificent decks, this is wonderful news. The original edition of the Touchstone was self-published and sold in a bag, or with a bag, if I remember correctly (I have never seen it, so I'm speaking from hearsay). The next…

I don't post here often or even not at all but some of you may remember me from my days over at the purple place (ATF 💜☺️). I'm considering subscribing as I need to sell some of my old, unused tarot collection and don't know where to start. I'm obviously not asking for offers or anything here in the Tarot Decks forum but does anyone have any idea of the value of the first edition Victorian Romantic Gold. It's a limited edition, numbered, unused and comes with a journal. Opinions and help will be very much appreciated.

Dear members, I just got a new deck of tarot card "Le Tarot Interdit Vampyria " by Victor Dixen. Have any of you ever get a chance to read from this deck? Any reviews? Cheers!

Hi. My new puppy chewed the 5 of Swords of my late edition Blue Box, Conway St., has copyright. I'd trade a whole deck or pay for that replacement if anyone can help? I hope I have some interesting things if you are able to help like if you have a partial deck already and won't miss that card! Thanks!

Who has it and what do you think of it? Does it say where it was made? Reason I'm asking is there are a TON of these decks on eBay for around $10. From China. Anyone have one that was purchased fm one of these sellers? (no judgement here) and is the card quality any different than what you expected? I'm not sure where Lo Scarabeo produces their decks currently. Any kind thoughts will be appreciated. I don't like buying fm Amazon, but I do like a good deal. I'm good w pre-owned decks too! Thank you members and guests.
