I recently acquired the Fairy Lights tarot and have done an introductory reading with it. After I drew cards and analyzed the reading I came across the following in the LWB: "Fantastical paintings were made with the intention of dividing each one into two cards. Each card has its own meaning and can be read on its own in the usual way. Place the cards side by side to blend the meanings into a new story, a way to expand upon the message of the tarot." I did a search on here and found people mentioning the deck, liking the deck, and saying that the pairs add value but didn't see anything about how people actually introduce them into readings. I'm jus…

Today i had received the first issue of World of decks catalog from Joan Marie. An amazing selection of recently released kick starter decks, and up and coming decks now available to buy. Each issue of World of Decks News goes out on the 1st of every month, a monthly guide for all the Tarot community. https://mailchi.mp/0a21cea11e69/a-catalog-of-new-deck-releases?fbclid=IwAR0SB1xRt4bO4M1oaXSkA1C28mIvwzi-7obamcR20veOUETQBjYSwFejOHE

How many have had a fav for a long time, but then they fell in love with another deck and their once favorite got pushed to the side? I don't mean just a new fancy, but that your favorite was replaced by one you just loved MORE. I have been thinking about this and it's not so much a deck has been really replaced, but more a STYLE of a deck. The Pamela Centennial by US GAMES has just been my go to, then the one without borders came out and now I am looking at reall's Vintage. Just kind of different takes on the same deck, but I am feeling a bit of a loyalty shift here. Anyone else had a LONG TIME fav that you dumped for another?

This one is easy for me. It's the Morgan Greer pocket in a tin (which I prefer to the larger size). I have no other pocket tarot decks, NOT because there aren't a lot of beauties out there, there certainly are, but.... The Morgan Greer is more, literally, in your face images. The images on the pocket are larger than on some regular tarot decks. Easy to see for both reader and querent. While the Morgan Greer isn't my favorite overall tarot deck, I do like the bright colors, querents seem to like it, it is easy to carry around because it's small and in a tin. So, anyone else have a fav (TAROT ONLY PLS) pocket deck or dec…

Looking for something darkish, think Bohemian Gothic vibe or just ANYTHING new, unique that follows RWS. Any recommendations from 2020 - 2021? I just got the Borderless sister of the Centennial from USG and ordered reall's Vintage Pamela, but looking for something just different, but a read out of the box RWS. Before that, it had been over three years without a new deck. TT and ME-ers? Any suggestions? Would love to hear your favs or upcoming purchases, something about to be released you can't wait for.

Hi fellow Tarot people! I was wondering if any of you are using the Fifth Spirit Tarot by Charlie Claire Burgess? I am diving into the deck this week and would love to know if anyone else has experiences with it and would want to discuss it? I saw the deck on the Little Red Tarot shop in the UK and bought it online (before they went on a spring sabbatical and closed the shop until March) - and received it a few days ago. Little Red Tarot has a category with decks by trans, nonbinary and genderqueer creators, and it was one of these. I am a queer cis white male myself, and have always been drawn to queer, inclusive, unconventional decks, so this seems to be re…

Not sure that is phrased right, but reminded by a post inviting others to participate in the Wildwood deck, I spent some time looking over all the posts we've gathered so far, well done for such a new forum! https://www.thetarotforum.com/forums/forum/24-study-groups/ Anyone can start a study, anyone can go back years later and add to it. How easy is that? Because I use a different deck each week, rotating through all my decks, I used to be in the habit of adding my cards for that week to the deck study group if there was one. I'm pledging to start doing that again, in honor of this bright new day in America. It can be lonely, dedicating your…

Hi Tarot friends! So I was watching this reality TV show and they brought on a tarot reader. I screenshot two cards I could see, the first one is The Devil and the second the Queen of Pentacles. Anyone any idea what deck this is, please? Thanks!

Saw it in one of the youtube videos that the reader was using this deck on. I commented to ask the name but she deleted my comment. I really would like yo use this deck for my Feminine clients. If any of you know the name, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could share then name. Thank you so much.

I stumbled across this by chance on Etsy. It's my first time seeing anything from this artist, but I just love the look of this indie deck! https://www.etsy.com/listing/566715446/nature-tarot-cards

I had this site bookmarked because it showed all the Sola Busca cards, but I can't get it to come up today, any pages at all. Is it gone or is it just me? It will sure be a loss if it is shut down. And does anyone have an alternate site with all the cards? And would you agree this is the World card?

I heard it through the grapevines... (= Facebook ^-^) that Baba Studio is currently thinking about reworking and reprinting this deck in the near future. It’s not a done deal yet but they say that it’s looking like it will happen. Here’s to hoping

This is a poll, plan and simple. A head count. Not a discussion thread. not a "merit" thing. Just - which deck did you use most last year. You may name two, but not more than two. And one should be a tarot deck, please. If you name more, I will only count the first two.. I do not want to know why, but if you have a truly exciting reason, you can PM me with it ! Please, just name it. At the end of the month (as in February 1, so everyone gets a WHOLE month) I will simply count them and post the result. I was going to put up a poll - but realised that as I have no idea which decks might come up - I can't.

So, I only just now caught this, but it looks like Nell Latimer is doing a second edition, or second version, of the Commonplace Tarot: https://twitter.com/LatimerNell/status/1289694021686898688 I am *beyond* thrilled to find this out; I love woodcut style decks, but I was sad to see Commonplace wasn't print to bleed. The deck imagery was sparse and evocative in precisely the way I love. She's heard that feedback and looking to rectify it, as well as write a booklet. \o/

So the As/So folks went ahead and got their deck, the Metamyth Tarot, printed, and are now offering it on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/913928442/the-metamyth-tarot?ref=shop_home_active_1&crt=1 This is very much my jam, thought it might appeal to some here!

So I didn't hear about this deck until the kickstater was over, and I'm having real trouble buying a copy in the wooden box here in UK. But despite the odd vibe I do like it, and would love to know if anyone has it, is reading with it? Or knows of a UK supplier with the box and boarding certificate? A couple of places have the image, but upon inquiry don't have the deluxe version 😞 Anyhow - can anyone speak about it? Thank s PathWalker

I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this? I opened up Star Spinner and found many of the corners to be torn - to be clear, its just the top layer, not through the entire card. Then I ordered a new deck and its got the same problem. This is clearly happening when the cards are being punched out of their larger sheets. Are cards usually punched out, rather than cut? Obviously I haven't heard any other mentions of this problem but.. Are all Star Spinners like this? Are they in a bad run? It seems kind of pointless to just keep requesting new decks and have the same problems over and over. The issues are quite small, but they're physically tor…

I’m at work on Children of Ostara now and hope to have it done next year!" I absolutely love the Children of Litha, and am so looking forward to children of ostara! Oh my gosh, a Yule and Mabon later! I'll add some more !!! just because I can https://www.xiahunt.com/pages/the-children-of-litha-tarot
