Hello, I want to introduce my Conjunction Tarot deck here. The artwork is equally important to me as my interpretations. Here are some examples of my work. Feedback is greatly appreciated and very welcome 🙂 Here is a link to the different cards if you're interested in observing them. Conjunction Tarot

I searched on the Forum but didn't find a thread about this deck. Sorry if I missed it! So I open this thread on this Tarot deck that I saw on forums in the past, but didn't own it myself, since lately. It follows and doesn't folow the RWS system, or broadly, therefore it isn't a RWS clone. It is a nice deck, with something vintage with vibrant colors, and most of the cards are very nice. Actually it is very evocative and it reads very well. For the card stock, it's a mass market deck (not really expensive), and the cards are maybe a bit thin, but it's okay, and the backs are beautiful too. The Moon card is gorgeous in this deck (one of the most…

It's almost December and as the nights grow longer and colder, the days grow shorter (i.e. if you live in the northern hemisphere :) ). It's less than a month before the winter solstice, and I guess it's good time to ask: which Tarot and oracle decks do you like to use during the winter season?

Dancing_moon just began sign-ups for our Forum's inaugural TdM circle this February. Tbh I haven't worked much with the Marseille system before. I wanna flex those divinatory muscles tho, and what better way to do that than by joining circle exchanges. So don't hesitate to jump in whatever your proficiency level is! The circle allows any deck with non-illustrated/non-scenic minors or what we usually call "pip" decks, so yeah! :D Anyway, that got me thinking about what my favorite pip deck is. As I've mentioned, I don't work with them a lot, but there is a gamut of Marseille decks that are truly lovely. I have two versions of the Madenié, and Yves Reynaud's 2012 offerin…

This is an interesting indie deck based on the Burning Man festival. I've never been to Burning Man myself, but I became friends with the creator through Facebook and really like her art. The Kickstarter is fully funded and there's still time to contribute:

I've been keeping an eye on Taroteca Studio, the makers of Dark Mansion, ever since I received a sample card for an upcoming deck of theirs when I ordered my copy of Dark Mansion. https://taroteca-studio.com/en_US/n/3 The Slavic Legends deck should be out in Fall or so, and I love the samples so far. Such great art, and a subject I really enjoy (I have a few similar decks, like Velga North's Forgotten Legends).

It seems like the Sola Busca revival is still going strong. There is some good news for everyone who missed out on the very first offering of Lo Scarabeo's Anima Antiqua series. Their deluxe Sola Busca is going to be released again this January 2019, and this time it's going to be in a museum-quality kit! I like how responsive LS has become to popular clamor - the initial release has sold out in around six months after all. And now, not only is it going to be reprinted - it's going to come out with an extensive guidebook by renowned Sola Busca scholar Paola Gnaccolini. This is a huge deal, as the available texts on the Sola Busca by Di Vincenzo, Adams, Dorsini, et…

I'll start. This one is pricey, but there's obviously a lot of work behind it and it looks lively, like it might be a fun deck. One of the creators is a circus performer, so I'm sure that lends an interesting perspective. There's only three left, so if you want it, act fast: https://www.etsy.com/listing/697096776/the-tarot-of-why-original-hand-drawn Created and designed by by artist, poet and clown R. Campbell while touring the world with Cirque du Soleil And Teatro ZinZanni in North and South America, Europe and Japan. i'm sort of wondering if there's a collector's advice thread floating around here anywhere, or if anyone else would be interested in starting one? (I joined the tarot collectors forum but it seems a bit advanced and updates rarely.) I sometimes feel like i'm completely clueless when it comes to discerning what decks are valuable and why. For instance, I just apparently lucked out and found a $65 copy of the III Millennium on ebay (a deck I've been kind of obsessed with since @Saturn Celeste suggested it as a good deck for me a while back). And the seller seems legit, but I know this deck is selling for upwards of $400 and $500 elsewhere, so I'm fee…

Here's a beautiful and unusual deck by Kevin Jay Stanton, new on Kickstarter: I love the striking art. This seems like a deck where readers might need to rely a lot on the book to understand the flowers and meanings intended by the creator- the flowers I recognize strike me as pretty intuitive (like Lotus and Elderflower), but there are others I don't immediately recognize. According to the Kickstarter page it comes with "a booklet explaining the symbolic meaning of each card and each plant." I've been following this artist and really love his work.

Hi, I was looking at my decks the other day, and I was reflecting on how at least a couple of them were purchased in part because I really liked one card. For my Prisma Visions set for example, I was really intrigued by its unique take on The Tower. Heck, that the Five of Pentacles really spoke to the Christian in me was a big part of the push I felt to finally invest in a traditional RWS set. So, my question to the community is, has there ever been a time when a card or two sold you on an entire deck (knowing full well that the deck contains 78 cards, assuming it has no extras)? If so, feel free to share what it was about that card that inspired you to g…

I just got my Sola Busca Tarot deck yesterday and I can’t believe how much I love it. I wanted to share it with you all. For anyone who may not know much about this deck, it is the first/oldest full 78-card tarot deck that also has all illustrated cards featuring figures and not just symbols. Here is the Wikipedia page for those who want to read more. These cards take me to the past in Renaissance Italy, 1490/1491 (when this deck was finished). Holding them makes me feel connected to the people who held the original cards in their hands hundreds of years ago. The artwork is stunning and intense. I will definitely be keeping this deck in my private collection.
