So Lazo has finished and printed their long-time tarot project, the Rainbow Tarot. They're an El Salvadorian artist and sell on Etsy, though I believe atm all purchases ship from Germany. The deck is being released on Thursday June 16. Not sure on the time yet, but given how closely watched their IG post was, I'd recommend being ready to snag one as soon as you can. I've been wanting to pull the trigger on these two decks for so long. I love the amount of symbolism in them and the mythology behind the Apokalypsis. But I wonder how people go with doing a whole reading with them? I can see how I could use them for clarifiers, but realistically speaking, how do you guys go with using them for a whole large spread like the Celtic Cross? For reference, I love Ciro Marchetti decks, so I'm not shy about colour and detail.

I commented this over on the new Majestic Earth Tarot kickstarter thread, but felt I should start a new thread to spread the good news. :) A number of us were lamenting missing out on J.D. Hildegard Hinkel's Tarot of Delphi, and I found this on her website today: http://www.tarotofdelphi.com/ "The deck is out of print, but I do plan to print a second edition in 2019 or 2020. Join the mailing list here for updates. In the meantime, I’ll be working on companion book and posting excerpts on this blog." Really looking forward to this, as I have been kicking myself for missing out on it before. If this comes out in 2019, wow, it's going to be a pretty epic year…

Greetings everyone. So I am a fan of RW clone decks since I find that I connect most to the symbolism of the original deck yet not wanting to use the traditional deck. I have been working with the Radiant version and with the Robin Wood deck ( which was my favorite so far). So recently I have purchased the Llewellyn's Classic Tarot deck. I got it a few days ago and while I DO like it, I have some mixed feelings about it. I love the overall art and the fact that the settings are much more realistic. Most Major arcana cards I absolutely LOVE- especially the strength and judgment cards ( I will add one of them just to show those who haven't seen the deck) …

I don't post here often or even not at all but some of you may remember me from my days over at the purple place (ATF 💜☺️). I'm considering subscribing as I need to sell some of my old, unused tarot collection and don't know where to start. I'm obviously not asking for offers or anything here in the Tarot Decks forum but does anyone have any idea of the value of the first edition Victorian Romantic Gold. It's a limited edition, numbered, unused and comes with a journal. Opinions and help will be very much appreciated.

Have any of you seen The Brady Tarot? Little Red Tarot posted about it today and it looks really cool! Made from woodcuts and painted with gouche, with an animal theme that doesn't shy away from the brutality of the food chain. I really like the Six of Cups with the playful otters, the Three of Pentacles with the badger and the 8 of Swords with the swooping eagle. Eagles are actually known for sometimes taking cats back home up north, so while this one is about to grab some other animal I really jive with the swooping and sudden movement of the eagle, even if it doesn't end well for the critter on the ground. As usual I'll probably depend on Beth if I decide to get it whe…

Gabi Angus-West has one coming out, hopefully this year. https://www.instagram.com/tarotavatara/ Normally I would be dead set against a white lady on the other side of the world doing a Frida deck. It would smack of appropriation and privilege. But this - THIS! Gabi has transcended all of that. I see nothing but a deep soul connection, two people on the same rare, heavy frequency. It's said that at her cremation, Frida sat bolt upright and grinned, hair on fire like a halo, before the doors slammed shut. Leave it to Frida to do THAT. These images manage to capture the pain and audacity. I patiently - but eagerly - await this deck

Here's another new and very alternative-seeming deck on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/winslowdumaine/the-tarot-restless-by-winslow-dumaine. They started with a relatively low goal and it's already at almost 3 times that! You can see pictures of all the cards at the creator's site: http://www.winslowdumaine.com/tarot

Well, I'm wondering if others feel like I do. Working, now, with different Tarots, I find that they each have their own strength and purpose. Take The Tarot of the Hidden Realm, for example. Not only do I find this Tarot tells the truth in a compassionate way, but it is also very good at giving advice. My Green Witch Tarot, on the other hand seems to be better at telling me exactly what is going on. Voyager is great for writing inspiration and for answering questions that need "to the point" answers. So, do you also find that some of your decks are better at certain things than others? I'd love to hear what you think.

Coming from US Games this Fall 2018 - the Influence Of The Angels Tarot by Jody Boginski Barbessi and Karen Boginski. Angels’ spiritual influence over human experience is beautifully portrayed in this gilt-edged deck through classic-inspired artwork. The 184-page illustrated guidebook features in-depth descriptions, symbolism and angelic messages. In addition to the 78 tarot cards, two reference cards are included in this glorious set presented in a deluxe box with gold foil accents.

I wanted to write a review of this deck before January is over, it's the Happy New Year Tarot. These cards used turn of the century New Years Day postcards. I bought the deck off Esty's and it was from an independent vendor. The cards come with a felt green tarot bag (no box). It does not include a manual. If you buy the deck the author sends you a link for an e-book that can apply to any Tarot Deck, it's not specific to why they chose what images to represent certain cards. Some seem to have a correlation, others not at all. Krampus as the Devil seems appropriate--but I'm at sea as to most of the relationship to RWS meanings Each card has a name of a tarot card o…

Is there such a deck? I keep envisioning the Major Arcana as one big painting following the path of the Fool. Am looking for a deck if you lay out all the MA cards on a table in, let's say, three or four rows, they will form one big picture in front of you. Just curious!

I was wondering if anyone knows if the Victorian Romantic 4th Edition pre-orders have shipped. At the time it was estimated shipping would start in February. I don't have facebook but in a Google search I saw something saying they would be shipped in April now? Just curious to know if anyone has any info on this.

Greetings eveyrone, What are your thoughts on this one? With a bit of scrolling you'll see the suites are changed into 7 different types. Im very tempted because I've been fascinated with his artwork since discvoering it in childhood, but I am uncertain of the utility of the pack.

Hi there! I've been reading Tarot for a few years and I often read in the Internet that beginners start with the WaiteSmith deck (WST) and move on to the Tarot de Marseille (TDM) in many cases. I often get the impression that it's common to think that the TDM is for advanced readers, while the WST is for beginners because of its "simple" pictures.

Is it actually there? I know, when you are really new who knows what you want...but here is a little secret. There are a number of us here who give decks away occasionally. If you have a wish list in your profile we can get an idea of your vibe It would help to include what country you are living in too...just saying 🙂
