I am trying to think of some additional decks with dark backgrounds, to come up with possible pairings I might want to add to/use in my collection. By dark backgrounds, I mean decks where the primary color of the background is a dark color. I have a few in my collection already which I'll list below. If anyone can think of any others I'd be grateful! Tarot Prisma Visions: The background of this deck is dark blue, contrasting deeply with the bright colors of the art and the silver edging Tarot Swietlistej Drogi: The cards are white and gold on a black background, giving an almost glowing effect to the art …

Hi everyone I'm looking for a fairy tarot deck based on the RW system. Can anyone recommend any? I'm looking for more whimsical art, think the Faeries Oracle by Brian Froud. Thanks

Is this for real? It seems like Lo Scarabeo is finally going to add another denizen to its metallic decks line. And finally - it's a Marseille! It's going to be a Claude Burdel richly foiled with gold. It doesn't have pics yet, but this seems to be a definite go since aside from Amazon US, it's also listed in their Italian and Japanese sites, along with Book Depository. If this is anything like their Visconti Tarots or their Golden Tarot of Klimt, I'm definitely going to grab this once it goes out in the market. It has a release date of July 25, 2018, so let's see. I can't wait!

Finally found it. Usually they publish the new catalog around December/January on https://issuu.com/, but it wasn't posted this year. I randomly found the 2022 catalog here: https://fonixmusik.com/media/download/scarabeo.pdf The great thing is that you can easily download it this time, and I attached the .pdf file to this post in case the link goes dead. Enjoy! CatLoScarabeo22.pdf

Which one was your very first type of deck you used tarot, oracle, cartomancy, lenormand etc? For me the very very first type of readings and deck i used was when i was still underaged i think i was somewhere between 15-17 i was doing a type of cartomancy with a literally handmade poker deck i made which later i replaced with a nice one i found with a nice black detail and backing it was a popular type of readings we were doing in Greece there was a standard one which was the most popular cause it had its very theirs meanings to each card and way of reading and i think it was also an addition to some ppl who where also doing coffee cup readings here a celtic cross an…

For fans of the Thelema Tarot, this is a deck to watch out for. I'm not exactly a fan of digitally collaged decks, but I like this one. It's scheduled to be released under the Lo Scarabeo imprint in June 2018. You can see a few pics HERE.

http://www.bgkorea.com/tarot/12-StarMan-Tarot-Kit-출간예약.jpg[/img] The Starman Tarot is set to be released by Lo Scarabeo this October 2018 and shall be available as either a kit or as a deck only. From the Starman website: The original Starman Tarot idea was conceived by the iconic David Bowie and artist, designer and philosopher Davide De Angelis twenty one years ago in London, England. Starmen Travelling Through Time Journeying through innumerable transformations, the project somehow stayed potententalised across the years; building, evolving and vast in scope. And yet with hugely busy work schedules and commitments, seemingly impossible to reali…

For those of you with Kindle Unlimited, I found they have the big book for the Crow Tarot offered to read for free on phone, PC or Kindle or other devices. If you don't have Kindle Unlimited, there's a free trial going on right now for 99 cents for 60 days if anyone is interested. 🙂 I thought I'd rush over here and post to let people know in case anyone is interested in a great opportunity. ETA: I just looked at the ad again on FB and it says it's a 60 day trial, not 30. Even better, huh? You don't have to be on FB to get the offer, though. Here's the link to the book: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SPHJ9YQ?pd_rd_i=B07SPHJ9YQ&ref_=dbs…

If you were an artist and were to create your own deck, how important would tarot card symbolisms be?

Sometimes we talk about decks where a card or several ruin a deck for us. But what about decks we've seen where we REALLY like a few of the cards, but feel letdown by the rest? Are there any decks you can think of where you really just liked one or a couple cards, maybe even ordered the deck based on a few cards, but then wished the rest of the deck followed suit (no pun intended)?

Just saw this on Llewellyn's site http://www.llewellyn.com/blog/2018/6/mystical-faerie-gets-a-fresh-face/ They look great without the huge borders. Are the colours more saturated too? In some photos they look brighter, but in others they look the same as the original. I don't own this deck, but it's quite charming, isn't it? Probably nice to use for readings where the person is fearful of the tarot. I love how they're starting to realise that people want borderless decks. I do hope that they give the same treatment to the Mystic Dreamer someday ;D The art is so beautiful in that deck, but crammed into such a tiny space.

Hi, I'm new to tarot decks and divination, but I'd like to learn how to improve seeing future events. For as long as I remember I've had psychic impressions and also get vivid visions, but I'm really clueless how to develop and strengthen it. It seems a lot of psychics such as Deseret Tavares use tarot cards. So I was wondering if there’s a certain type of deck that Deseret and other psychics use? Maybe cards that have certain types of imagery themes that help a psychic tune in. As a side note if it’s okay I was wondering if astrology can help in psychic predictions as well? Thanks for any help!!

At the Tarot Garden I have a "holy grail" wishllist for a select few decks (from my overall wishlist) that I consider to be super rare, unlikely-to-ever-get decks that I nonetheless would really really love to have. Turns out, with some patience and careful Ebay stalking i've been able to get quite a few of the decks I had on my 'holy grail' list in recent months! They are the Louttre B, the Silhouettes Tarot (that one I barely won a down-to-the-second auction for haha), the Jugendstil, the Swietlstij Drogi, and the Minotarot. Plus, the Bagong Sining is hopefully being republished next year, so that's another one. So now I am thinking that maybe I…

There is an official one, but without the Minor Arcana. I have been thinking of doing up the Minor Arcana. I've seen an anime Tarot deck on Amazon but I disagree with a lot of the card choices.

While I was digging around about my latest obsession, the Engel Tarot, I came across this deck, the Watcher Angel Tarot. Is anyone familiar with this one? It sounds quite interesting, though the inspiration is something I really don't know anything about. From the shop description: "Together, the book and deck guide you in understanding the Watcher Angel Tarot. Explore the myth of the Watchers, angelic beings who abandoned heaven in pursuit of mortal love. Learn how their story, drawn from the Book of Enoch, inspired the Watcher Angel Tarot, a gorgeously illustrated deck which weaves a gripping narrative of the divine becoming human and the human becoming divine. With…

Does anyone own this deck, or is anyone aware of it? I came across it by chance. It looks like a majors-only deck, created in Australia: http://www.globalight.com.au/tarot_gallery.html
