I'm just curious. Do you have any decks that are only locally available? Like it can only be purchased in your country for various reasons. Maybe because it's written in the vernacular, or it's a limited edition item that the publisher is not interested in exporting, or because its theme/s is/are very specific to your country. Pics are very much welcome.

http://www.bgkorea.com/tarot/8-Tarot-Egyptiens---Limited-edition-출간예약.jpg[/img] There is very scant info as of now regarding the fourth offering in Lo Scarabeo's Anima Antiqua Line. All I know is that it is an Etteilla deck and that it's most probably the Jeu de La Princesse Tarot. As per the image, it's scheduled to be released on September 2018. In any case, it's going to be my very first Etteilla, so I'm excited. :)

I've had the Crowley Thoth Tarot (the one illustrated by Lady Harris) for years and, after trying to work with it, I got really spooked. EmpyreanKnight[/member] suggests that I should give the Thoth another try. Only if I can find a Thoth deck that appeals to me. So, would all of you kind souls who are familiar and really like your Thoth decks be willing to help me out with some suggestions of other Thoth tarots? Same system, but other artists, other visions, other art? Thank you, kindly. <3

Just saw this on Llewellyn's site http://www.llewellyn.com/blog/2018/6/mystical-faerie-gets-a-fresh-face/ They look great without the huge borders. Are the colours more saturated too? In some photos they look brighter, but in others they look the same as the original. I don't own this deck, but it's quite charming, isn't it? Probably nice to use for readings where the person is fearful of the tarot. I love how they're starting to realise that people want borderless decks. I do hope that they give the same treatment to the Mystic Dreamer someday ;D The art is so beautiful in that deck, but crammed into such a tiny space.

I mentioned this in the thread on the reprint of the Oracle of the Radiant Sun, but thought it should be shared here in Tarot Decks too that the ORIGINAL Mythic Tarot will be coming out in a newly published edition by Eddison, coming Autumn 2019. There are some details in the Eddison catalogue here- go to page 29.

Just stumbled across and then purchased this new deck that is out. Has anyone else purchased it? I adore the artwork as it is tattoo art based as the artist is a tattoo artist. Anyways, just wanted to spread the word about this deck as I think it is fabulous... can't wait for it to arrive. https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/586109602/sawyers-path-tarot-deck-and-guidebook?ref=shop_home_active_1

Don't want to use this as an oracle. Sweets + sideways diamond, dark left Mains + circle w/black top half Drinks + on-point square dark bottom (I think this is cups) Sides + Circle with lower right quarter dark. Majors + 2 overlapping red boxes. How would you identify the suits? all have 4 courts and 10 cards. emailed the artist, no response LWB is hilarious, but no help there.

Has anybody got this deck? What is the cardstock like? I'm really intrigued by it - I love the design and it looks like it would be interesting to read with. My only worry is that it comes via Printer Studio which means I'll probably get stung by customs. Previews can be seen here: http://www.printerstudio.com/sell/designs/tarot-de-aux-arcs.html

On Kickstarter: I realize I'm posting new decks like it's going out of style...I don't know what it is but I've just happened across so many this week! In any case, this one really appeals to me. 43 days left in the Kickstarter as of today. I think I'm going to back it.

I can't decide what I think about this one. Some of the cards shared seem lovely - I like the Sun card, and the idea of a new suit is a cool concept. Thoughts? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1103697320/the-five-element-magic-of-prophecy-tarot

Does anyone have a Hanson Roberts deck from the 80's? I'm having trouble with the stiffness of the new deck and was wondering if I should purchase a 1985 deck I found on Ebay. Is it easier to bend?

http://joshlafayette.com/foodfortunes/ Published in 2016 but this morning was the first time I'd heard of it. His master plan is for the reader to draw three cards which make the meal of the reading. I love his choices of food for the majors and suits.

I have transitioned to watercolor in my painting- and two decks have popped up that I am interested in. One is the Tarot de Aux Arcs- which I will probably get as I love non-traditional Marseille type decks. But the other one is the Watersprite- that is completely different with Marseille majors and RWS minors with what appears to be gorgeous use of watercolor artwork. Does anyone here have it? If you do- what do you think? I am always interested in readability as well as if you can riffle shuffle it. I have let many beautiful decks go when I found I couldn't shuffle them easily (read Schiffer decks on that one)- and so I don't want to plunge if this will end …

When looking at your decks, do you notice a certain theme? Do you seem to like collecting Thoth-based decks, pocket-sized decks in tins, historical ones, etc? When you check a certain category in good old AT, does it seem like you have bought almost all the decks listed there? Or are your tastes quite varied and eclectic?

Edition two of the (official) Homestuck Tarot is due in July, with all new art from the final acts. The back and border also changed, and they added playing card symbols. Like the previous, it's a collaborative fan art deck. Pre-order/images here. ETA: Many more images at the project blog. It looks like this time the deck was originally a fan project with no plans to sell, but it was picked up and officially licensed. I have the first ed., and prefer those earlier days, so may stifle my inner fangirl and stick with the one deck. But I'd be interested to know what others think...

Per an email announcement from Sarah Wheatley: http://www.makeplayingcards.com/sell/AsherahTarot I'm so tempted by this. There's both a large size and a poker size.

On Kickstarter: "The Threadbare Tarot, hand drawn by Carolyn Griffin, celebrates the persistence of humanity's divinity and its mark upon the tarot." It's a very minimalist deck with an interesting aesthetic. There are worn-out flags or banners present in each card, suggesting movement within the card in a subtle, elegant manner. It's an interesting addition to the symbolism of the deck and I really hope I get to explore that. She seems very well prepared to move forward with this project since she has a mock deck she's been using on her youtube channel. She even has a full walkthrough of the artwork ( ). However, it doesn't seem to be getting a lot of love…

It's strange, but nobody has created a thread yet for one of the most highly anticipated decks this year - the Game of Thrones Tarot. I feel like even non-readers might take a gander at this one if only to fuel their obsession for the TV or book series. I remember feeling a bit down when its November 2017 release was postponed. Now it's going to be out next month, and there's no indication that it will be delayed again. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! If there's any deck that might break my moratorium, it's going to be this one.

The Everyday Tarot Mini Kit is now available for preorder on Amazon. It looks like it has gilt edges! And is that gold ink? I'm familiar with the Miniature Editions of its publisher, Running Press. I have their Tarot: The Complete Kit by Dennis Fairchild, which is just the mini edition the Tarot Nova. It is very small, which can either be a good thing or a liability based on your preferences. I wonder if the Everyday Tarot is the same size.

Hi! Yesterday I was looking at a Visconti Sforza comparison video on YouTube, and the uploader has a modern deck inspired by the Pierpont-Morgan Bergamo Visconti Sforza Tarocchi. He himself cannot find any information on the box, but I'm very intrigued by this deck and I would like to know more about it. Maybe one of you have this deck in their collection? The video is here: And here are some screencaptures: Thanks in advance!

This looks like a magical deck. I want it. However the reviews say the printing wears easily and is thin, slick and small. They say there was an original, larger, better quality deck printed and you can get it on Ciro's site or somewhere else. I can't find it. I was on his site and looked everywhere. I would rather pay more for the larger, better quality original deck but don't know where to find it. Anyone know?
