While I was digging around about my latest obsession, the Engel Tarot, I came across this deck, the Watcher Angel Tarot. Is anyone familiar with this one? It sounds quite interesting, though the inspiration is something I really don't know anything about. Hello, I once came across a link that had a listing of the dates of publication of RWS decks over the years and some of the characteristics. I can no longer find it anywhere (this was some years ago). So, I wonder if anyone knows of such a thing? Preferably something that describes the differences between editions (ie: markings on the cards, color changes, copyright symbols, logos, etc... and roughly when they were published). Basically anything that can help in dating an RWS deck. Thanks!

I've been waiting for the Ethereal Visions Tarot for quite some time. Lo Scarabeo has (with a few exceptions) mastered the art of making metallic decks. Does anyone know if this is the very first deck US Games created that has gold foil on the very images themselves? Looking at the pics, it looks like foil and not just gold ink. If only for this, Imma get this baby. :)) It is now available for pre-order, and is scheduled for an April 2018 release.

This is a hypothetical question, for me, since I have no children and no access to any that I might teach tarot to, but talking to FreyjaVanir[/member] about the Crystal Unicorns deck made me wonder. There's plenty of decks I might be careful to keep away from a young child - Finland (where I am) doesn't really have a taboo against non-sexualised nudity, so that wouldn't be enough to make me put a deck on a high shelf, but there are some fairly dark or sexual decks out there that I think we can agree we wouldn't let a nine-year-old play with! - but I can't think of many that are not just child-friendly, but also easily readable. I never thought I would regret buying any deck, but I regret having paid what I paid for this: The cards and the booklet are good quality. The cards are big, but I really think this was a waste of money. Have you regretted any purchases this year?

They say that if you want to know which Tarot deck a reader considers absolutely essential - either because he/she likes it to bits or reads a lot with it - just ask which decks that person has backup copies of. I know that's a bit simplistic, I mean there might have been a sale the said reader just can't say no to, but I believe the gist still applies. So how about you, which decks do you have duplicates of?

I recently had the opportunity to purchase the Tarot of Prague 1st edition - this deck I had on my wish list for years, but it was always very pricy on ebay (I even saw it listed for something like 2000 $ !!!! Since it's the time of year when the plants return to life and the flowers start to blossom, the idea of working with flower decks and plant decks has been on my mind. I'd love to know what your favorites are! I have one flower deck, Flowers of the Night Oracle. More of a summer feel than a spring feel, at least to me. The rest of the plant-themed decks I have are all tree decks: Tarot of Trees, Voice of the Trees oracle (an ogham-themed deck) and Wisdom of the Trees oracle. So that's all I have. I know there was the Pythia Botanica that came out recently, that seems very popular...of course there's the Herbal Tarot, which seems like a wonderful deck...I don't know…

Is this for real? It seems like Lo Scarabeo is finally going to add another denizen to its metallic decks line. And finally - it's a Marseille! It's going to be a Claude Burdel richly foiled with gold. It doesn't have pics yet, but this seems to be a definite go since aside from Amazon US, it's also listed in their Italian and Japanese sites, along with Book Depository. If this is anything like their Visconti Tarots or their Golden Tarot of Klimt, I'm definitely going to grab this once it goes out in the market. It has a release date of July 25, 2018, so let's see. I can't wait!

I believe I saw, here, pictures of a Tarot deck that is either in pre-production, not yet completed, about to be released or already in the market (but not mainstream). For the life of me I cannot remember its name. I do remember that it had completely modern images of people doing ordinary, mundane, every day things like going to the beach. It's the not The Every Day Enchantment Tarot by Poppy. Neither is it her other deck. It's a totally 21st Century portrayal and not remembering what it is, is driving me crazy. Can anyone help?

Which among the decks in your collection is the T H I C C -est, i.e. has the most number of cards? Do you feel like they're too complex and that they require more effort to learn? How often do you read with them? Would you recommend them? I love <3 decks with lots of cards! Extra majors, Happy Squirrels, extra courts, extra suits even - these all set my avaritious heart aflutter.
