What do you think of the Shakespeare Tarot? Really interested in your opinions. Thank you kindly. <3

Do you have any decks that you use specifically for business/career/financial queries? It may be because the theme or aesthetic of the deck seems so apt for these concerns, or because they just happen to be very accurate or easily readable when you use them on these kinds of questions. I find myself making more and more readings on these kinds of issues, so I'm curious about the decks that others use. Maybe I'd get some of these myself. ;)

Hi everyone. I am traveling to Mexico in a few weeks and suddenly realised its a good place to get Mayan/Aztec cards. ;) I know of the "Mayan Tarot" deck but I'd love to know if anyone knows of a traditional style deck I could get in the Yucatan area. For me, Rider-Waite is what I call traditional as many modern decks are based on the images and interpretations of those images. So what I'd like is the Mexican version of a traditional deck, one which modern decks are based on. Any advise from you lovely, worldly tarot lovers?

I just read about this deck, and I was very charmed. I like how light and wholesome the cards are, and the Mucha-inspired backgrounds in some of them are adorable! The assignment of diverse Pokemon to the various cards are usually spot on, tho I would have gone with different characters in some of them. Overall it just works tho. You can see all of the cards in the pic below. To see the cards in greater detail, just open the image in another tab or window: You can also see all of the cards in the Pokemon Tarot gallery in the creator's DeviantArt account. She is taking pre-orders for the very first batch of decks she will release until July 1. Check out her Tum…

I don't think there's a thread for this deck yet...I just stumbled upon it and hadn't seen it before. Looks lovely! From indie creator Lisa McLoughlin who also did the Plant Ally and Tree Wisdom cards. Available in her Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/600140087/the-textured-tarot-tarot-cards-tarot

A while back, I fell in love with the 3 deck Oracle of Oddities, by Black and the Moon, which are now out of print. The artwork is just so beautiful and I've been impatiently hoping that they would come out with a Tarot Deck. Imagine my happy surprise when I visited their site yesterday and found the Antique Anatomy Tarot available for Early Bird pre-order. So excited to get this stunning deck.

If, like me, you were upset that you missed the Kickstarter campaign for this deck, and are a bit envious of all those glowing reviews that are inundating the interwebs, you'll be ecstatic to learn that the Marigold Tarot is now available to purchase through Amrit Brar's website, as are the Reading Cloths, LE patches and enamel pins. Mine is now on the way, and I can hardly wait!

Another forthcoming dog deck! From indie creator Arien Smith. They have a Facebook page for their deck here: https://www.facebook.com/TheMajorBarkana/.

I've just got myself the TV series tarot. I can see why the series aren't identified in the LWB, (copyright reasons), which is also why the characters don't really look like the actors at all. But it does make the series harder to identify. I've got a fair way along with working out the series I think, but can anyone help with my missing cards. (or point out where I might be wrong...some of my identifications might not be right.) Many thanks for any help. Some of the series seem to match quite well to the card, House to the Hermit. Dallas/JR to the King of Pentacles etc... Fool Doctor Who Magician The Mentalist High Priestess Bewitched Empress VEEP…

I really like the Thoth system and decks but I was looking for some deck that didn't have any nudity, are there any? I hope you can help me out! :)

Winslow Dumaine, creator of the Tarot Restless, has just recently added 12 expansion cards to the aforementioned deck, which he named The Zodiac Retrograde. The first time I saw them I was in awe. If you're into strange, creepy, and disturbing Tarot decks, this one is simply a must-have. As Dumaine wrote in his website:

I saw this deck is up on eBay...the Greenwood for $200?! However, I wonder if I should be suspicious since there is no book or box. I had read some time ago that some people were getting away with selling the self-printed copies of the Greenwood for exorbitant prices. Not saying that's the case here, but this is the cheapest I've seen I think so I'm a little wary! https://www.ebay.com/itm/323302591347

This deck is still under production, but I think it's so interesting that I may as well share it. It's by Lisa Luree AKA Bonediva, and it's really eye-catching. You can check it out under the deck's Facebook page HERE. She's still working on the majors AFAIK, so if this is a full deck we're going to have a long wait. I'm excited for this one tho.

I am part of a tarot challenge group on facebook, and a bunch of people were posting their tarot decks. Someone posted the vivid Journey's Strength card, and I had such a strong emotional reaction to it. I started crying. Even now when I see it, I can feel tears in my eyes. It hits something in my inner child that rips me open and leaves me raw. I ordered it today, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. I feel like this deck with be incredibly helpful in my healing journey.

What are the decks that you truly, bitterly regret missing out on? It may be because it has become OOP and is no longer available at all, or it can still be around but its prices have become mercenarily astronomical. It may be a limited edition deck you kept postponing on buying until it's too late. :( It may be something you once had but which you traded/gave away, and which you are hankering for again but now it's out of stock everywhere. This is a thread of sorrows, so it's alright if you wish to pour your heart out. :'(

Has anyone here actually ordered from MakePlayingCards.com? How was it like? How long did the shipping take? Were the products exactly as they were described? How was the quality and customer service? I remember reading in one of the threads here that the Large Asherah is now sold in MPC. That was nice and I took note of that, but then I found out that the Hall of Mirrors is also available in the site. That really roused my curiosity. I don't know of anyone who has bought any deck from them tho.

I know that I've often waxed poetic (and furiously hyperbolic) about decks that have captured my interest, but I was not quite prepared when I chanced upon the Renaissance Tarot by Brian Williams. The very first time I saw its warm, sensuous, classical images I felt my heart drop and yes, it was love at first sight. It was so coolly gorgeous, so beautiful and flawless that my mouth hung fairly agape as I perused each and every card. I have fallen utterly, hopelessly under its spell, and yet I somehow relish its chains. And is what they said about the gold true? This really is love, isn't it?

So - erotic decks. Which ones do you have in your collection? Which are your favorites and why? Which do you enjoy working with, and which ones did you immediately trade away? The discussions here might become a bit explicit. If some readers do not like nudity in their decks, I fully respect that, but it may be advisable to skip this thread. In any case, we're all adults here, and this thread is NOT meant to be prurient. Sexual imagery, symbolism, and arechetypes have been part of even the more celebrated Tarot decks like the Thoth for example so I personally don't find anything objectionable about them. Erotic decks are just a more explicit manifestation of this …
