I bought the Dreams of Gaia tarot, and WOW the artwork is beautiful. But the structure of it is so different that I feel intimidated by it. Anyone else have thoughts on this deck?

Well I always love these discussions :) For those who like to use decks seasonally...what decks (tarot or oracle) are you loving for the summertime?

Hi there, I just backed the Majestic Earth Tarot on Kickstarter: It's from the creator of the Tarot of Delphi and I love the art-work she chose for the cards. I would imagine this is going to be funded pretty soon :)

So- this is the deck I almost didn't get. You know that deck- the one you mull over, talk yourself out of, buy 3 other decks, then mull some more. Yes- that was this deck. I had a ton of reasons, the first being that the art style just isn't my typical love. I usually can't get into decks that look like this- usually my real working decks are ones that started out on canvas/paper- not computer. And the imagery was kind of strange on some of the cards- am I really going to like it or is this another wasted purchase? Let me buy 3 more I really don't love- that'll be the best plan. I know I can't be the only one here! Finally, I just took the plunge- bought it, t…

What are the most unusual/strange/downright weird decks that you have ever encountered? What feelings did they inspire in you? They say that love and hate are just opposite sides of the same coin, so do you think you'd ever consider buying them in the future? This is not meant to denigrate them or their creators. It's just that you find it difficult to understand their raison d'etre. And anyway, for some, any kind of interest is preferable to indifference. ;)

Which decks that are going to be published next year have you already included in your to-buy list? Here are mine, along with their estimated release months: 1. Magical Dogs Tarot (September) 2. Game of Thrones Tarot (March) 3. Tarot de Maria Celia (?) 4. Vampirella Tarot (January) And for oracles: 1. The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit (March) I may have missed some lol. So what are yours? Include 2018 indie decks if you wish. :)

I was browsing though Instagram, looking for new tarot decks, y'know, as you do, and I stumbled across one called the Shadow Light Tarot deck. It's a black and white tarot deck that very strongly reminds me of the Light Visons deck, though it is significantly more goth. There isn't a whole lot of info about what it is exactly, but here's a short description I found. "Within this Tarot Deck exists a great & powerful Magick. All five suites are depicted as an infinite panoramic scene deeply embedded with esoteric symbolism. Each line, letter, & shape has been illustrated by hand to bring to life the vision presented before you. Discover the true balance existing…

With the success of the Vampirella Tarot, it seems like Dynamite is poised to mercilessly impose upon the world a deck featuring another ravishing beauty. While some might have reasons to question the deck's robustness as a cartomantic system, there's no doubt that like its predecessor, it's still going to have fans clamoring for it with bated breath. Coming later this month - it's the Red Sonja Tarot! From the publisher's official site: Red Sonja is no stranger to the mystical, having faced all forms of the divine along her travels. For the first time, Dynamite Entertainment now presents this a fun and exciting way to immerse yourself in the world of tarot with …

It looks like 2019 is going to be another exciting year for Tarot. Llewellyn is bound to release the Mermaid Tarot by Leeza Robertson and illustrated by Julie Dillon by March next year. As per usual among Llewellyn's offerings, it's going to be available in a kit with the deck and a 312-page book written by Robertson. The blurb says:

Hi! I've been watching this series lately (iZombie) and in one of the episodes I noticed this beautiful tarot deck. It has some very peculiar drawings for the Major Arcana from what I could see and one of the prettiest backprints (roses and thorns in full color) that I've seen. I've been looking for it or something like it, but so far no luck. Now I'm wondering if it really exists. Maybe the production of the series printed a modified version of an already existing deck, or designed one, I'm not sure. I've added some attachments of everything the series shows of it, I apologize for the quality of some of the pictures, that's all I could find. If someone has any i…

After a few years of selling old artist copies bundled with the book She is Waiting in the Night, Metonymy Press is helping Ruth West reprint the original 1984 deck. They already have preorders up on their site (again bundled with the book—we’ll see if they’ll sell it by itself for those of us who’d like an extra copy or already bought the book) and Beth over at Little Red Tarot has already stated she’ll stock them in her store for UK folks. https://metonymypress.com/product/she-is-sitting-in-the-night-theas-tarot-deck/ Estimated release date is this Fall 2018.

I cut my deck to the X of Pents... ...the return of Odysseus after a decade of war and another decade of wandering. How appropriate for a deck that took almost two years to arrive. Postmarked May 7th. From "matt matt" to "stella waldon". At least they got my address right. It looks like they used a different service, I don't see "PakMail" anywhere. It's a lovely deck. A little wonky but nice enough to overlook things like that. Mr. Hughes is officially off the hook.

Hello guys, is there anyone who uses Steampunk tarot from Barbara Moore? I am little bit confused with this deck. It is beautiful set of cards, but sometimes I am not sure, how to interpret them. Because in her book, there are some discrepancies between her descriptions and RW tarot. What kind of interpretation do you use? Your own?Mixture of Barbara's instruction and RW? Only RW? Thank you for your insights <3

Ok, so I bought this deck pre-loved and I know nothing about it. The box has no information regarding manufacturer. The deck has 80 cards, and it has a historical style to it. Every card has titles in four languages, but I must admit that I am not 100% sure which languages they are (although I am perfectly able to discern which card is which anyhow). Some of the cards have a banner with some words on them, I will add pictures of that as well. So, please, any information you guys can give me (about anything really!) is welcome! I am thinking that this is a mass produced deck and that it perhaps is slavic? The images are really lovely and quite interesting. And I re…

I've heard of the Tarot of the Orishas, but this deck by Andrew MacGregor boasts a truly fascinating artistic style. It's currently in production so there's not much buzz about it yet, but it's bound to be released by Llewellyn. As a sneak peek, here's the Judgement card: A vulture with peacock feathers ascending towards the sun? I wonder what the story is behind it.

I remember being utterly obsessed with the film "The Last Unicorn" and terrified of the red bull thing :-\ i was scrolling through old kickstarter tarot projects and came across this (its now available for preorder on backerkit) I don't really remember much of the film (apart from one song that for the last 14 years has been stuck in my head!), but I'm quite tempted to relive a childhood fave?! although its definitely not the cheapest deck. Im not sure if the cards shown are mockups, or just showing the concepts...but the card stock looks questionable? or perhaps the image + no rounded corners just doesn't do it justice? What does everyone think? I hope someon…
