I have been eyeballing the Chrysalis deck/book set since December. I like the images I have seen, and I do understand that it is non traditional. I have also read some reviews, but I wanted to get your opinions on the deck and book. What are your experiences with this deck. I would really love some honest personal opinions. All opinions are welcome :)

Have any of you seen The Brady Tarot? Little Red Tarot posted about it today and it looks really cool! Made from woodcuts and painted with gouche, with an animal theme that doesn't shy away from the brutality of the food chain. I really like the Six of Cups with the playful otters, the Three of Pentacles with the badger and the 8 of Swords with the swooping eagle. Eagles are actually known for sometimes taking cats back home up north, so while this one is about to grab some other animal I really jive with the swooping and sudden movement of the eagle, even if it doesn't end well for the critter on the ground. As usual I'll probably depend on Beth if I decide to get it whe…

Well, it is FINALLY getting to be that time in the Northern Hemisphere! Springtime! I always love seasonal deck discussions, so I want to know- what decks do you like to work with in the spring? I would love to hear both your tarot and oracle spring favorites :D

What decks, old or new, are tempting you right now? For me, it is the Animism Tarot on Etsy and the Badgers Forest Tarot by bluedogrose. I am sure I will think of more. :D

So I have some very serious decks, and some very whimsical ones, and some "light" and "dark" ones, and, and...the list goes on. Suffice it to say that every deck has its own unique vibration and personality. With that in mind: I asked THE EVERYDAY WITCH deck today about a possible move from Chicago to back home, in Bethlehem, PA (after 20+ years of being away!). My outcome card was the Five of Pentacles. Now we all know the "normal" interpretations for this card, but today it struck me as quite literal and even funny, right down to the fact that I just sent my Mom out to visit a house today that is new to the market. (There's an open house today and when I saw the pic …

To readers who have metallic decks, i.e. those with metal-foiled images on the cards themselves and not just the edges: which ones do you like to work with? Which are your favorite/s, and which ones are you bent on eventually adding to your collection? Do you have any tips as to their upkeep? Don't be afraid to show your inner magpie. Yeah so what, I like them bright, shiny things. ;) And as they say: ain't no such thing as too much bling. 8)

Well, I'm wondering if others feel like I do. Working, now, with different Tarots, I find that they each have their own strength and purpose. Take The Tarot of the Hidden Realm, for example. Not only do I find this Tarot tells the truth in a compassionate way, but it is also very good at giving advice. My Green Witch Tarot, on the other hand seems to be better at telling me exactly what is going on. Voyager is great for writing inspiration and for answering questions that need "to the point" answers. So, do you also find that some of your decks are better at certain things than others? I'd love to hear what you think.

Just an FYI for an new Indiegogo campaign that has started. Crystal Unicorn Tarot and I just love it. RWS imagery, with a Unicorn instead of a human. Pastel girly colours and a very playful childlike vibe. She has 300 available to ship now, and 233 have been sold already so if you don't want to wait, I suggest heading over and picking up your copy ASAP. I purchased 2 copies: one for my 9 year old daughter and one for me. :) https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/crystal-unicorn-tarot--2/x/17599406#/

http://www.bgkorea.com/tarot/12-StarMan-Tarot-Kit-출간예약.jpg[/img] The Starman Tarot is set to be released by Lo Scarabeo this October 2018 and shall be available as either a kit or as a deck only. From the Starman website: The original Starman Tarot idea was conceived by the iconic David Bowie and artist, designer and philosopher Davide De Angelis twenty one years ago in London, England. Starmen Travelling Through Time Journeying through innumerable transformations, the project somehow stayed potententalised across the years; building, evolving and vast in scope. And yet with hugely busy work schedules and commitments, seemingly impossible to reali…

Does anyone have them? Would you be so kind to describe what the 9 of Pents looks like? I’m so impatient...

So I always said I wasn't one for multiple-artist decks, but I have to confess I'm very tempted this time around. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kayti/78-tarot-mythical-tarot-of-the-legendary-le-box-se Probably because the mythology theme holds so much more interest for me than those of the previous 78 Tarot projects, and the sample card art is much more appealing to me... What do you guys think?

I know I'm not the only one with a list of deck-statuses to check in on, or who keeps a close eye on artists working on fabulous projects. So if this hasn't been done yet - what WiP decks are you most excited about? Besides the True Black, I can't wait to see the finished versions of Yoshi Yoshitani's Fairytale Tarot, the Lubanko, and Sam Guay's Blood Moon deck. And I'm already coveting Paulina Cassidy's Phantasma Tarot, though as far as I can tell there's been almost no information about it. Who cares: it's Paulina Cassidy! Of course I must have it! Noa Ikeda's deck looks like it's going to be stunning, too - and while I'm not that sold on the art style, I'll probably…

I love and collect faerie decks, I will admit that my view of the faeries is not that of the Victorian sweet faeries, but hey I love faeries so are all welcome in my collection lol. I would love to hear your honest opinions about this deck and the companion book. I am not looking for simply an art deck I want something usable, so I am interested to hear from you about how it reads, and that sort of thing. I appreciate any insight you guys can give me.

i came across these cards <------ click on "cards" for a free ride to the Etsy site where I found them. I sorta felt the warm fuzzies that someone went to such trouble to reproduce the same deck I use...I will probably have to buy this immediately

Does anybody have the Sinking Wasteland Tarot? What do you think about it? Do you use it often, and would you recommend it? At first I didn't really take to it, since I just wasn't enamored of the deck's artistic style. It has really grown on me tho. I like its gothy apocalyptic vibe, and tho it's RWS-based, I admire how creative its takes on it are. Btw, HERE are images of the cards in the deck's website.

For fans of the Thelema Tarot, this is a deck to watch out for. I'm not exactly a fan of digitally collaged decks, but I like this one. It's scheduled to be released under the Lo Scarabeo imprint in June 2018. You can see a few pics HERE.

In an image search for 10 of coins I found this blog introducing the Terrible Tarot https://terribletarot.com/ Oh My Gosh! I'd sell kidneys to lay my hands on deck and book if ever published.

Of all the Faery/Fairy realm Tarots, which do you find: a) the most "faery" like? (Truest to the energies of the fairies, siddhe and the denizens of the hidden realm)? b) the most eloquent? c) the one with the best accompanying book related to the faery domain? d) the most evocative? e) the easiest to read with? Thank you. :)

I would really love to hear from you all about the Mary-El. Everything you can tell me about this Tarot because there are cards I absolutely love, others that rattle me and some that I can't even explain how they make me feel. (Love the card size, and wouldn't want to miss out on this one in case it goes OOP). Thank you. <3

Hi all! Does anyone here use Harmonious Tarot? And, if so, can I get your general impression of the deck? I'm thinking about getting it, as it's very lovely, but I'm worried it would feel similar to Renaissance tarot, energy-wise, and though I have that deck and *like* it, I don't love it enough to use it often. Any thoughts appreciated! Sandy
