I’m hoping to learn a little about the Gypsy cards. I know that Gypsy Witch cards are a different system of reading but wondered how the two systems specifically differed? Are both systems (originally) German? Can anyone recommend an English deck for each, preferably an exact re-production of the original text + images + direction, if applicable?

What are the oracle decks you know, or recommend, that have in-depth, detailed guidebooks? I know Brian Froud's Faeries' Oracle has a really good guidebook, and recently I acquired Alana Fairchild's Isis Oracle, which brought home to me that I prefer it when oracle decks have guidebooks I can really sink my teeth into.

Found this cute 50 cards oracle deck, marketed as being designed for love-related readings, in a local store. Here's a video by the author showcasing the cards herself (it's in Russian, but you don't need the words to adore the art😞 What do you think about it?

Noel Arthur Heimpel, creator of the Numinous Tarot, has created an Oracle Deck all around books, magic and so on and with it written an accompanying novel. Not sure if the deck accompanies the story or the story the deck. However, I thought I'd share it here.

I've been thinking of exploring crystals by way of cards -- to learn more about them and their properties. I saw a couple interesting ones (Crystal Reading Cards, Crystal Wisdom Healing Oracle), but I'm still looking at options and so was wondering what crystal deck (oracle or tarot) that you like to use? πŸ™‚

Hi all! So, first, I must say I'm not 100% sure if this is the right place to post this, but it is oracle related, so I figured yeah. If not, please let me know. This weekend, I purchased my first angel deck. I got the Angelarium: Oracle of Emanations deck. It's absolutely beautiful and haunting, but also a little terrifying, which, in my experience, is a pretty accurate representation of angels and "God" in general. I'm new to working with angels in this way. Still learning about them, what they're jobs/functions/meanings are. So, I've read the booklet and spent some time getting to know the cards. Going through them one by one, I came across Kushiel - Angel…

I am trying to find a deck. It saw it on a reading on YouTube by the Tarot Priest today. Can any one help me? I was able to take the picture of the deck but don't know how or if I can attach. The deck is mostly black with a rose gold looking crown on it with a border and . In the four corners, it has a symbol like beams of light. From the front of the cards I saw, there are mostly feminine images on it.

So back in August, I found this great oracle on Etsy. It’s based on the Raggedy Ann dolls, and I’m sure that some of the lovely souls here would like it. I bought it it as soon as I could and I’m actually quite impressed with it. It looks better than it appears in the Etsy listing! I just want wanted to highlight it on the forum! https://www.etsy.com/listing/496276187/johnny-gruelles-raggedy-oracle-75-card?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=raggedy+oracle&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&organic_search_click=1&frs=1&sca=1

does anyone have this? could you scan one page of the accompanying booklet for me? I studied the Phoenician alphabet as part of my year long study of runes in 2010, I'm wondering if her outlook follows my thoughts. Actually I'm wondering about her ogham and runes decks too πŸ˜‰ I've never had much success working with ogham decks before. I could have sworn we had a thread on this deck by Danielle Barlow, but I couldn't find one! So decided to create a new thread for this discussion. I know several of us have this deck and it is especially popular among those seeking to work with seasonal and lunar energies in their practice. I have the deck though actually haven't worked with it much (I know @Raggydoll has so would love to hear her perspective on this!). But I came across this post by the creator Danielle Barlow about the 13 moon cards in the deck. I'm just going to copy and paste the whole post here because I think it is fascinating, both for those looking to form a relationship with this dec…

Here is another printable deck I found online. It's a very pretty deck called the Midnight Oracle created by Sharon Julien. There is a downloadable guide to go with it, but it doesn't actually give you any card meanings. This is a deck meant to be used intuitively. The cards are read in combinations of 2s, so it is a bit more like Lenormand and Kipper than a straightforward oracle deck. https://midnightoracle.com/

Hi guys! I saw that Baba Studio is currently working (actually it isn't a new project but with the lockdown they went back to this project) on a "Bohemian fortune-telling cards". This deck is actually the Gypsy Cards (Zigeuner), but they will offer their view for a few cards since there are some variations apparently; well it's in progress so I guess some changes could be still possible, but they plan this deck (36 cards) for this year (possibly october/november). The Gypsy Cards is a system so there will be a book here (important!). I find this project interesting since I have a personal interest in the Gypsy cards. Here for a few pics: …

Has anyone worked with the Goddess Spirit Oracle deck by Rachel Johnson? I saw it on Etsy this week and the artwork stopped me in my tracks. It's so beautiful. The deck has an interesting system that uses chakras, lunar cycles, Tarot, and Septuple energies. https://spellboundsociety.co/collections/oracle-decks

This is a reproduction of a 1923 deck by Isobel Field, Robert Louis Stevenson's stepdaughter. She also has an autobiography called This Life I've Loved. I've also seen mention of Teulia cards with an 1899 copyright to Isobel Strong (Strong was her surname at that time), but I think she redrew at least some of the cards for the 1923 version. The people cards look very 1920's. No. 2 has finger waves and No. 4 has one of those faux bobs, with the hair gathered into a chignon. I've seen this hairstyle on a lot of women in silent movies. But iIn 1899, people didn't look like this. The men generally had more facial hair, and the ideal for women was the Gibson girl in a high…

I came across this deck by change and was totally floored...I never knew Nigel Jackson did a Celtic Oracle! I had only been familiar with his Rumi Tarot, Medieval Enchantment, and Rune Cards. I love his art so was excited to see he did another deck. Unfortunately I believe it's long out of print. I actually cannot find much information at all about the deck! Does anyone have this one? What's it like to work with? Any info is appreciated, since seriously there is almost no info online at all that I can find. Pretty sure I want this one, although I'm sure it will take me a long time to find one...

Hey guys, I'm new here and I jsut got my first oracle deck. Ok, ok, actually my first 2 because I just couldn't resist. I got the Gods & Titans and Mausolea: Oracle of Souls. I just need some help learning how to read the answers, because I ask and then read the booklet but the meaning doesn't seem to make sense. i have only tried the Gods and titans. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? How can a newbie start interpreting the answers. Any help would be appreciated.

I post below a link towards a wonderful article on La Vecchia Signora (on Kapherus'blog about the Vera Sibilla Italiana). https://sibillareadings.wordpress.com/2019/07/27/musings-on-la-vecchia-signora-the-old-lady/ I post the link here in the Oracle section because the section with regard to Cartomancy doesn't include the Sibilla but it would be more its "natural place" somehow. The article really goes in depth and gives a practical example too. Otherwise we always learn something interesting, here that the Sibilla was derived and expanded from the Austrian Gypsy Cards (Zigeunerkarten), actually it's something I didn't know at all …

I'm looking for an oracle deck that has some "teeth" to it and isn't all about bland, breezy New Age affirmation (but also isn't too dark or sinister). I'm going to use it in combined readings with the Thoth tarot deck, so I want one that can deliver a poke in the chops as readily as a caress. (I already own the Messenger Oracle, the Earth Wisdom Oracle, the Sacred Geometry Cards for the Visionary Path and the Oracle of Visions, and I'm looking for a substitute for that last one). At the moment I'm considering Madame Endora's Fortune Cards, the Enchanted Map Oracle (although I understand the new card-stock is crappy), and Lynn Andrews' Power Deck (but I'm not too keen on …
