Years ago, I had a fairly big deck collection, which included some repeats. But then I began to question my own consumeristic habits, and not only got rid of most of my collection, also parted with many extras as well. There are, however, a couple of decks I still own two copies of and I am struggling apply my non-hoarding reasoning to. One of them is the "Moon Oracle", by John Astrop and Caroline Smith. Hi everyone, I've been using tarot cards exclusively for a while now, and to change things a bit, I got a couple of oracle decks. However, I do not know how to properly integrate them when reading for myself and others to give a more complete overview of the situation. Can someone please give me any tips? Thank you!

I don't normally indulge in "oracle decks." I understand there is a broad range of these types of decks, and some are just happy platitudes while others are food for thought, and some may be comprehensive, workable, and useful. Hi everyone. Something is happening within my oracle readings that I don’t understand and I hope someone could tell me. When I mix the oracle cards from Angel answers deck to ask yes or no question or time framed question I feel like I always get the wrong answer. I’ve tested it by asking it the question that I know and it still gives me “wrong answer”. And then when I mix them again, put them on a table and choose one, that answer resonates with me. But it is a totally different message. why is that happening? Excuse me if I didn’t post it to the right topic.

Devil and tower cards feel like sexual attraction (and obsession) to me. 10 of swords is confusing. How do you interpret 10 swords? 10 of swords. I couldn't get that one. It has many explanations, they see me as a character who complains a lot. Or they see me as somebody who might hurt them emotionally and try to end up something with me. I fell in love with this oracle last year, and I have been using it on and off until recently when I started picking it back up again. I don't know why I fell out of love with it. I think it's a great oracle, but I don't use the general guidebook that comes with it. I use my own interpretation of the messages on the cards for that, including the names of what I assume to be angels/fallen angels. Anyone else ever use this deck?

I’ve used the “angel answers” deck a few times and i was having a hard time connecting with it. Now it’s my go-to. I think i just needed to be more patient with it. Has anyone else tried it?

I was gifted a deck of these oracle cards, however I'm not well-versed in oracle cards, especially these kinds, has anyone worked with these cards before or would know how to best utilize these cards? From what I remember (I'm not at home rn so can't look at the cards) each card represents an artist, there are 3 symbols that indicate what area of life the artist could serve as inspiration for: life, work, and creativity. This is as much as I remember, apart from feeling lost as to how I could interpret them.

Apologies if this has been covered somewhere else (I couldn't find it but admittedly didn't do an exhaustive search!),but does anyone have/use/know of the starseed oracle? I saw it wasn't in the listed decks, but wonder if people have had much experience of it and what their thoughts are on it. I bought it recently and am still getting to know it. I wasn't too sure at first but I find it to be usually quite helpful and enlightening when combined with an RWS reading. Would love to know people's thoughts!

I’ve recently purchased two decks of this French Sibilla. Both are published by Grimaud, the first printed entirely in French (1970) and the second in French + English (1979). Curiously the numbering has changed order in the later bi-lingual 1979 deck. In the earlier French edition the cards are numbered in alphabetical order but in the later edition they are numbered in order of suit. Perhaps a small change but I wondered if there was reasoning behind the change? As the decks are somewhat related, should I expect similar changes in later or bi-lingual editions of Le Livre du Destin + Le Petit Cartomancien?

Is the ‘Sibilla Originale del 1890’ the same reproduction as ‘Sibilla Originale 1850’ or a different deck/reproduction?

I start this thread on the Oracle Gé. I'm studying it for a little time (just a beginner with it for now). I decided to buy a copy of it when we were talking of the Oracle Belline in another thread I started. Not sure people will necessarily like it though. This deck has the size of a Tarot (but is an Oracle of 61 cards). It was published in 1991 so it is a 30 years old oracle deck now; one of the best sellings in France, even these days (likely in the top 3). The artwork? I used to have the first edition of this deck, but some of the cards' art weren't really my... taste, so I ended up passing it on. Now I see a new edition is available, and many of the cards seem to have new art! From the images I found on the web, the result is looking pretty good. Has anyone tried this new edition? Hi there, wondering if anyone has this oracle deck at all? I've started using oracle decks as the messages are much clearer than through Tarot I find. In contrast to having multiple possible meanings, oracle cards offer a clear message that I am finding more helpful than Tarot in general. This deck uses reversals as well as uprights and when you get reversals you only read the "protection message" and disregard the rest. I went through a difficult time about 10 years ago. I eventually found an angel card reader and I found peace in the reading. What are some oracle decks that you feel have their own system that feels complete? A lot of oracle decks tend to not only be themed but have a certain range of meanings. So I don't feel like they're applicable for any reading the way tarot decks are for me. I tend to pick and choose an oracle depending on the reading. Are there any oracle decks that feel comprehensive to you? Maybe not as broad and encompassing in meaning the way tarot is, but a pretty widely applicable oracle nonetheless?

Hello there, new here and I hope I've posted this in the right section! I recently had a reading where the reader pulled a card that I've never seen or heard of before and wondered if anyone else had? The card is of a woman's legs up in the air and the word "Horny" on it. I think the meaning is self explanatory most likely, but I wonder if anyone else has seen this card and attributed it's meaning to something particular or different than someone just feeling horny? 😀

What do you look for in an oracle? I'm a long-time Tarot reader but have only a couple of oracles, bought fairly much on the basis of artwork. The absence of an established 'system' means that they sometimes feel a little artificial or arbitrary to me, so I'm a little wary of them.
