Now that the wonderful ROC is in play thanks to the lovely Fortuna, I am again on the hunt for really good Oracles. I'm torn between The Celtic Tree Oracle Story Cards by Cathy Nichols Life Designer Cards Earth Warriors Flowers of the Night (Rockpool edition) or any other suggestions. The ones I have are listed in my Profile. I love big cards, but I also like substance. I have a few I use for card-a-day empowerment which I love, but I'm looking for another great oracle I can do readings with. I have Froud's Faeries, The Tao Oracle, etc. Would love your help. Thank you. <3

Any interest? I stumbled on one of my old AT posts, I’ve accumulated a bit more enlightenment since 2010...wow, how time does fly. Canid

Hello peeps, I'm in the process of creating my own Oracles deck and I'd love some early feedback while I'm still figuring out my art style. I currently have two themes, animals (intuition/instincts) and everyday items (synchronicity/everday affirmations). I'd love to hear which style or theme speaks to you more? I know there's not much of content yet as I haven't written the texts of the cards. At this stage, I'd just like to know which style (if either) appeals to you. Thank you ever so much!

I've heard so much about the Deviant Moon Oracle, but it's been tagged as soon-to-be-released since 2016. Does anyone have any current info on this? This banner is currently shown in the official DM site tho:

I'm so excited for this! The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck and Guidebook, published by Harper Collins, is already available for preorder, and is due to be released two months hence, in March 2018. I have the 3rd Ed of The Wild Unknown Tarot published by the same company, and it does not have the common, "mass market" feel that its edition name suggests. As has also been attested by so many users, its production value is topnotch - the cards have a premium, creamy feel and they didn't skimp at all on the two boxes and guide book. This is exactly how Tarot should be, and honestly I won't hesitate to pay more for this kind of quality. If HarperElixir maintains the same …

Found this on Kickstarter and instantly fell in love with the artwork. Not incredibly into the excerpts I've glimpsed of the guidebook, but aren't the cards stunning??? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/magickandmediums/magick-and-mediums-oracle-card-deck/description

What do you guys normally look for in a deck? I find many Oracle decks overtly spiritual/fairytale-y and I'm thinking of creating my own deck, bringing it down to earth a bit; no unicorns and guardian angels but everyday items that feel familiar. However, does that take away some of the deck's power and intrigue, it's not 'lifting the soul' in the same way? I'd be interested in any opinions.

I saw on Facebook that the creators of the Everyday Witch Tarot, Elisabeth Alba and Deborah Blake, are working together on a companion Everyday Witch Oracle. Love this initial illustration they released! The deck will be 40 cards, published by Llewellyn. It won't be published until 2020 though, so we have a while to wait :-[

Hi everyone, new to the forum! I've been an on-and-off-again tarot reader for more than 15 years, but it's just in the past few months that I've found myself wanting to dive into the deep end of divination in general, and cartomancy in particular. I still struggle a lot with tarot, not gonna lie... and this project started off with the intention of drawing my own tarot deck. Well, it wasn't in the cards (pun so intended), so I'm doing an oracle deck instead and so far it's shaping up to be incredibly rewarding. I'd like to know what you all think of my work in progress! Here are a few images: The system has a particular way that it prefers to be r…

Hi all! i am sure many of you must be familiar with Maxine Miller's God/Goddess statuary? Well, did you know that she has done an oracle deck? i was thrilled to find this on her website: https://www.maxinemillerstudios.com/portfolio-item/6-cerridan/ Here is another shop where you can see and/or purchase the cards: https://www.celticjackalope.com/shop/divination/oracle-of-the-ancient-celts-the-dalriada-card-deck/ Available now for only $30 USD. This is just a heads up for anyone who has been thinking about this deck...the creator is moving to a new edition, and the first edition will only be available for purchase until March 31. The link to purchase the first edition is here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/551969507/universal-mind-oracle-deck-inspiration And the second edition pre-order is here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/587706970/preorder-universal-mind-oracle-deck?ref=shop_home_active_1 It looks like the pre-order deck is about USD 15 more than the first edition, and includes update border designs and a two-piece box. The shipping is also slightly more expensive. It looks like the second edition pr…

I think this has just become my favorite oracle. I just did a reading and it was dead on accurate. Best of all, I found that it reads exceptionally well intuitively. I first did the reading without referring to the book. When I went back and compared my reading to the book, I was very accurate. And the artwork is gorgeous, as is the packaging. Has anybody else used this deck?

Sorry if I missed this somewhere else, but does anyone have Spirit de la Lune? If so, can I get your thoughts on it? I'm thinking about getting it, but at 55.00 plus shipping, I'd like input first from someone who has worked with it. Thanks in advance, Friends! Sandy

I hope I'm posting this in the right section! I was just wondering if people here are interested in an oracle deck reading circle? I'm already hosting a circle so I don't think I want to commit to hosting another one at this time, at least not on a regular basis (though I might be open to splitting hosting duties with a few others)...but I'd love to participate in one every once in a while. Anyone else been thinking about an oracle-specific reading circle?

Just came across a few newly published oracle decks and wanted to share them here. This one is by the same artist as the Spirit de la Lune, my favorite oracle deck <3 The deck is available here.

Wondering if anyone here works with the Compendium of Constellations deck, and if so how do you find it? I have an interest in celestial decks generally, but can't tell if I would get on with this one. Any thoughts appreciated!

Last one I'm posting tonight! Available at Gamecrafter here. Looks like this one could be really good for intuitive reading and working with the subconscious. More deck info here.

I just saw on Facebook that the Moon Oracle by Caroline Smith has been picked up by a new publisher and will be available again in a new edition by the end of this year. I've seen a lot of people seeking for this deck so wanted to share the news!

I understand a lot of people have been trying to get their hands on the Oracle of Oddities...well the creator is doing a special print run as a fundraiser for Puerto Rico, and the pre-order will open tomorrow around 11 am EDT. More details on the creator's Instagram here: ETA it sounds like this special edition will be nearly identical to the 1st edition of the deck, but with a couple of small changes including a different box that are specific to the Puerto Rico fundraiser cause.

Curious if anyone is familiar with this deck? Stumbled across this picture, don't think I've ever seen it before.

Barring people's preferences, I'm curious about something... From all the oracles I've used, so far, I find The Faeries' Oracle be the best? Why? Because the cards are beautiful, but, above all, the accompanying book is amazing. Not only is there detailed information about each card, but the messages (straight and reversed) for each one are incredible. It really is an oracle that is absolutely to the point and gives such helpful advice. It's an oracle deck with which I have no problem doing spreads with. I've found, from what I hear, and the little I've seen, that the majority of oracles give us insight into ourselves, are good for meditation/contemplation and even…
