I just slipped and ordered the Modern Witch Tarot and Tarot Crossroads (a book about the intersection of tarot and psychology, which is of particular interest to me as a counselling student).

I really shouldn't have though. Probably should have posted in the de-enabling thread first 😜

The Modern Witch Tarot was a splurge for me too, but I fully recommend and support it if it calls out to you 🙂  It is a lot of fun, and the artwork is lovely.

It looks so beautiful and modern, but still faithful to the RWS system. It was recommended to me by a reader I admire very much, so I have high expectations!

❤️ the Modern Witch Tarot, I bought it when it was released. The modern young witches are so inclusive 🧙‍♀️

I had a quick look through some pictures on Amazon - that 10 of Swords 😮 it's the phone in the hand that gets me!

@DanielJUK I love inclusive! Being queer it's something that's important to me.

@stephanelli I had to look that up and OMG! I've felt that way so many times lol. I'm really looking forward to seeing the other images (I could look them up but I want it to be a surprise).

@smittenkitten ❤️ 🏳️‍🌈 hope you love it!

@stephanelli this is the original thread here discussing the Modern Witch whilst we were waiting for it to come out a while ago. The 10 of Swords was even better in the initial artwork released, at the bottom was a slogan saying "everything is fine", it seemed to really add to the card, she is on her mobile with the swords in her back 😆 Later on the slogan was removed from the tarot card. The artist also sells larger prints of the artwork and the slogan is only on the larger print in the end.

The deck is worth it for that amazing 10 of Swords and also I like the magician on the deck cover with the young black female magician in modern clothing holding her wand, it's such a modern take on the old RWS card 🙂

I got my Modern Witch Tarot and I'm in love! I've done a few spreads and it's so easy to read! Can't wait to include it in my regular rotation.

I received a copy of the Oracle Gé which I ordered lately on eBay.

Can’t wait to see how you get on with it @Decan - especially how you feel it compares to the Bellini.

Presently I don't know it's too soon, but will use it on a regular basis! I find its apparent simplicity relaxing 🙂

Hi everyone! 🙂 I haven't been very active at the forum the last couple of years. However, my deck collection continues to grow, and now fortunately my motivation to start using Tarot on a daily basis again 🙂

Yesterday I ordered two decks:
- "Rota Mundi Tarot: The Rosicrucian Arcanum" by Daniel E. Loeb.
- "Guiding Light Oracle" by Kelly T. Smith (I have the mobile app. Very simple, direct and accurate deck. Now it's finally available in print).

Previously ordered, still waiting for:
- "Notoria - Tarot in Light" by Lo Scarabeo.
- "Spirit Keeper's Tarot (SKT3 - The Revelation Edition)" by Benebell Wen.

It feels like Christmas!

On the way with tracking numbers are the Botan Tarot, the Le Tarot de L'etoile Cacheé, the Tarot Yohualli Ehecatl, the Tarot of the Alchemical Magnum Opus and the Moon Baby Tarot.

I wish I had a tracking number for The Somnia Tarot as well. I messaged Nicolas and it may be on the next batch of decks to be shipped out.

After looking at it for years I finally gave in and bought the borderless Deviant Moon Tarot by Patrick Valenza.

The Matryoshka Tarot. (etsy). I have a thing for matryoshkas; I don't care if it doesn't read well; I just have to have it ! Amazingly, I ordered it on Sunday and it has already arrived in the UK.

Vintage Tarocco Soprafino issued by Il Meneghello in 1992. I have their modern edition, but it always stood out to me as unusually low-quality compared to their other decks. The lines are thick, the pictures aren’t clear and I almost see pixels in them. But recently I found YT reviews of their 1992 edition and was surprised to see how much cleaner and finer it looks, even on a small screen. It’s going to be interesting to work with a deck that has already served someone else for decades.

Today I got my Halloween tarot in a tin from Amazon, as well as a Grand Jeu Lenormand from another source.

The Halloween deck is adorable. It’s a festive version of the Rider Waite. That’s the extent of it. The illustrations are very cartoony and cute. It puts me in the mood for Halloween. I love the container tin the cards come in, and the fact that the cards are slightly smaller than my standard deck I have been using.

The Grand Jeu Lenormand came used from an independent party. The card stock is phenomenal. I love the feel of them: delicate yet hardy. Looks like they’ve barely been used at all. The booklet is in French, but luckily the interwebz will be able to assist fleshing out the meanings. The artwork is very complex and rich in symbolism from what I’ve been reading. I figured if I'm going to learn the Lenormand I might as well start out with this one and challenge myself a bit more.

I also ordered an oracle deck today since I know I’ll be needing one of them soon. Will be posting back here when it arrives.

I received the Le Tarot de L'etoile Cacheé and the Tarot Yohualli Ehecatl. I grabbed the photo of the latter I posted to my IG stories.

But they're both gorgeous!
