Thank you for this upgrade! I'm so glad that I don't need to type in a page number whenever I need to navigate to a different page!

I still don't care, but I still have no trophies (OK I usually hide them, but they are unhidden at the moment to see if they come back !)

I do not know why yours are not there, all the others had come back.  : (

How VERY odd..... Is it from being sort of permanent ?   (off to look at Daniel..)

NO - that I noticed - but - I'm on another invision forum.

 

When you go for search, top right, you can then go for "more". Then you get the option to search for "members". And - just try that.

 

I went for DanielJUK - both a partial match (which should work) and his full name. I went for AJ/Sharyn.... Just try and see what you get - a lot of strangers, basically. It works as it should on the other invision forum... I just went over there to test.

I'm reindexing the search to see if that fixes the problem.  Was it working before the upgrade in that manner?  Perhaps the other forum uses the paid for elastisearch that I can enable... and pay for, but I don't find it necessary. 

If this doesn't work I'll see what else I can do 🙂

I went to profile and the trophy tab @gregory and hide trophies, I think before it would hide all trophies and your own but didn't seem to change my display. I re-enabled it. With both settings my trophy never changed so now sure why yours has vanished for life. Perhaps it will reappear.

I submitted a ticket for the members search because that is really odd. 

I will go reset the trophies app (disable enable) and see if it wakes up.

OOH yes - thanks. @DanielJUK - that was exactly what I had done - gone and unhid them and rehid them - several times ! And I can see the pings better now, too...

yay @Little Fang you are a forum wrangling maestro 🙂 it looks amazing ❤️ I am sure in future we can find replacements for the bits which are obsolete now or they may get upgrades in future! The Members tab was quite annoying, I loved the A to Z of the first forum but hopefully we can find one in future.

 

Also just to flag it, you can make the forum posts screen much larger! I have to wear glasses to read / write text and a lot of text can be tricky. Firstly in the customiser you can make the forum display "fluid" and it fits the width of your monitor, my laptop has a large screen and it displays better than before. Also you can make the fonts larger to display in the posts, much easier for increasingly middle aged people like me, gasp did I write that! 👀🤣

You did - and as an old person. I am giggling. I found the full width thing further up the thread - LOVE it - but declined the larger font....

Search thing was an easy fix that I had missed.  All good now! 🙂

I notice a change in the format of links to posts. Perhaps not a big deal, but I let you know just so you're aware of it.

 

(In each post, there are three dots in the upper right corner where a left-click gives the options: Report, Share, or Edit.) However, if you instead right-click on these three dots, your browser gives you the option to copy the link address (to the post).

 

Before the upgrade the link address was in this format:
Xhttps://www.thetarotforum.com/forums/topic/6879-kainos-periodical/?do=findComment&comment=173559

 

After the upgrade, the link address is in this format:
Xhttps://www.thetarotforum.com/forums/topic/6879-kainos-periodical/page/5/?tab=comments#elControls_173559_menu

BUT, this link does not actually link to the post, just to the top of the page where the post is included...

 

I can manually rewrite the URL by taking the post-ID (173559) and put it in the first link format, then the link will work. But it would of course be easier if the link I copy in the first place actually works 🙂

Hi Little Fang!  Have you heard from Endy?  First and foremost, I hope she's okay.  Second, what is happening with submissions to the Deck Library?  I submitted several back in the beginning of January and they're still just hanging there.

I just submitted a few as well. It would be nice to have a way to make sure multiple people aren't submitting the same deck while we wait for approval. Most of my decks are not currently in the library.
