Tarot Decks

Hi, everyone What's the most disappointing deck that you ever bought? Mine is Tarot of the Old path. The majors are pretty, but the Minors are "meh"; I was disappointed in their lack of background imagery.

What decks, books or other tarot-related items are you waiting to receive in the mail? I recently opened my mailbox and found the Gendron Tarot and the Secrets of the Mystic Grove Oracle deck.

I have some decks to sell here in Glastonbury for a friend - and this one has me stumped. I know it's not THE Stick-figure tarot - and it's got a hand-made vibe to it, but has anyone got a name for it please? Gregory - Death card on the left of shot Thanks PathWalker

Hi, I am new to this forum and couldn't quite work out if I'm posting in the right place so apologies if not (please do point me in the right direction!). I was gifted a tarot deck years ago and I've never been able to find which deck it is as it came without box or book... Can anyone help? I also seem to need help adding in a picture as I can't attach one.... I feel silly right now! 🤦‍♀️ how do I add pictures?? TIA!

Hello everyone I really want to be more empowered this year, so I'm wondering what the best decks are to use for empowering readings and meditations. I'm thinking Goddess decks for readings, because what says empowerment more than a goddess? And I'm thinking dragon decks for meditations, because dragons=power. I'd love to hear any other suggestions that you all might have.

So I fairly recently bought myself a copy of the Aquarian Tarot, the latest version published by US Games that is currently widely available to buy. It's certainly usable but me being my picky self, I'm disappointed with some of the printing quality. For example the Temperance card seems 'off colour' and washed out, and the detail of the face is barely visible. There are a number of other cards that are like this as well... My question is, is it worth me investing in a vintage black box copy of the deck? Is the printing quality of the older versions any better? Edited to add, if anyone might know, of the original printings of the deck …

My travel deck would likely be the pocket Morgan Greer because it's small and has a tin and a classic. The PCS Commemorative is my all time fav deck, followed by the Anna. K, but when I need to grab a deck to go with me, the Morgan Greer in a tin is handy.

Right now, mine is probably the Aquarian. Love the deck, but I have a few I gravitate to and, for some reason, it just isn't the Aquarian right now. Which of your decks tends to get stuck in the corner, at least right now?

Hi, I am making a study of tarot cards preparatory to becoming a reader. I'm interested in the Wirth pack as a bridge between the Marseilles and Waites pack but am rather confused by the number of different Wirth packs there arte! I want the earliest pack that is most true to Wirth's original conception - any help identifying the best pack for me would be most welcome and gratefully received.

This is a deck new to me, like the Zillich is. It's a really lovely little deck with its muted colors and wildlife, white sage, and---cougars! I love cougars. This deck uses cougars as the Page, King and Queen of Swords. The King is a leopard for some reason. I haven't read the booklet yet so maybe there's a reason she's given. River otters are the Courts of the suit of Cups, Wands are Pussywillows, Swords are----swords. lol Pentacles are elephants. The Wands courts are raptors. The pips are partially illustrated but beautifully done. The first card I saw is the Fool and it looks like a baby coyote to me which is extremely appropriate to my concept of the Fool. …

I've recently got my copy of the new printing of the 5 Cent tarot, and I'm not sure how I feel a bout it yet. I find the card stock a little strange, and the cards don't seem to relate very well when I place them side-by-side. However I'm giving it some time to settle in, and for me to use it a bit more. But what do other folks think of it? There was lots of excited chatter when it first arrived with folks - but who is reading with it, and how are you finding it? With thanks PathWalker

A few years back, Marie White self-published a limited edition deck based on her sketches for the Mary-El Tarot: https://tarotsmyth.wordpress.com/2014/05/04/the-new-sketch-deck/. Maybe, if there's enough interest, she could make a new one. I don't know Marie from Adam, I'm just testing the waters. If there's enough interest, maybe we could motivate her to make a Kickstarter or something.

I am unsure of where in the world it would be best to post the following, or who to have this conversation with safely to ensure its moral honesty and integrity. While I have recently read the comments posted during December of 2018 in this community forum relating to the issue of The Greenwood Tarot, and appreciate that the topic had been closed to further replies by the monitor at the time, I cannot conscientiously hold the story of The Greenwood in silence while there is renewed threat of printing and continued confusion. For those interested in this deck, it's on sale on Amazon for a little over $7. I just splurged a tiny bit go get it, and it reminds me of my Animals Divine deck. Does anybody here have this deck who wishes to share their thoughts about it? I won't get it for at least another week since I'll be out of state.

Hi all, Does anyone have this deck…(oh, Gregory)…I came across on eBay it on the out of print tarot decks…I was curious as to what some of the OOP decks I own were going for on eBay like the Touchstone Tarot ($150) the Neuzeit – New Age Tarot($75), the Ukiyoe Tarot($95), and the Yoga Tarot ($99) to name a few…not that I am getting rid of any of them…I was just browsing and that’s when I came across this listing... Windmill Tarot / Rider Waite Clone… I’m thinking it’s Japanese in origin, the listing states it comes with a Japanese booklet and an outer box…in the pics shown the cards seem drawn (or re-envisioned) such as The High Priested ...which i like more …
