Well!! I have been resisting this sort of deck for quite some time... always looking and looking and thinking I don't like it that much... So I finally decided "Just buy one already!". There are 2 versions from TarotCollectibles, and it took me quite some-time to decided which one to get. Black Light or Neon Pam. I happen to already have a UV torch (pets. Good for checking for pee on the ground!) - so I'm all sorted! Huh. Looks like night-time is going to become even more interesting for me... (I've already installed a movement sensitive multi coloured light in the toilet 😂) Daylight: Darkness - …

I know, I know, I said “oracle” and this is the Tarot section but I honestly don’t know where exactly to put this thread! This deck is labeled as an oracle but is essentially a majors deck with the addition of the aces, moon phases and the planets. I will totally understand if this gets moved somewhere else! I would love to know if anyone else has this and what they think of it. How do you use it? I originally bought it second hand not knowing much about it but was drawn in by the artwork. I love how each of the majors are assigned a god or goddess, like Baba Yaga with her mortar and pestle for the Chariot or the Norns as the Wheel of Fortune. I’ve found it to be…

Sam Guay emailed her mailing list to announce that the remaining decks go on sale at 9pm Eastern on Friday, June 4. If you're on her mailing list, you get 30m of early access, so you can purchase at 8:30pm Eastern. For those of you who've not heard of/seen this one, this is another long-running KS that recently had the rewards ship out. It's a truly lovely deck, not explicitly in a given system: Site link: https://samguay.com/prints-gift-shop/blood-moon-tarot

When the subject first came up I denied that these existed. But they do. Just like the early blue box one, with no copyright nonsense on the cards, put our by Rider (no mention of Waddingtons); printed for Rider by Muller - in a blue TUCK box. When it was finally conceded on AT that this existed (you have to read a lot of the thread and I was one of the first to say NO WAY !) http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=132224 Holly Voley and Frank Jensen were VERY interested. Since then I know of a number of people who have managed to get copies and I am wondering how many people here own one, as I saw on Dusty White's website that he believed (a little while…

Baba studio just wrote on their Instagram that the bohemian gothic is very nearly sold out, so I thought I’d mention this here in case anyone has been thinking about purchasing it. I’m not sure if they will make another edition as they have been talking about making plans for (at least part time) retirement. EDIT: As I just wrote in my last post, they are taking pre-orders for a reprint of the guidebook. It is a limited thing and only pre-order. And if the interest isn't big enough then they will not go ahead with it. Links to both of their shops are in the post below this one

So, I got my new Bonefire Tarot on Friday. I have some kind of mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it is a beautiful deck, the colors are amazing and the artwork is beautiful and has some amazing imagery. I think it stirs the emotions and fires the intuition wonderfully and will be an excellent deck for readings. But then there is the card stock. It is quite thick and it makes for a very stiff deck. When I lay the Bonefire Tarot next to my Albano-Waite, the Bonfire is about 1/4 of an inch taller. It's even 1/8 of an inch taller than the Touchstone Tarot (one of the thickest card stock decks I have). Now, one might think that this would make the cards more durable…

I heard something recently about a Sketch deck for the Bonestone & Earthflesh deck. I believe it’s called Bones of the Bonestone. Has anyone heard anything about this deck? I don’t have the Bonestone so I have no other info on either deck but I’m curious.

Looks like quite a lot of work is happening by Avalon Cameron and Ana Tourian on this deck! Just sharing some images here that were posted on Facebook. Avalon said a second round of pre-orders is going to be launched via her Etsy store on Nov 1 Australia time. It's pricey with shipping though [emoji15]I think something like $60 before shipping and $90 after, to the US. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I make handmade paper and books, mostly on esoteric philosophy. I found this site searching for The Book of Aradia, by Jean Van Slyke. I have been wanting to produce an edition of this deck on handmade paper, letterpress printed, and I want to offer royalties. Does anyone know how to contact Jean Van Slyke ?

 Hi all!!!! Our fondest tarot wishes CAN come true, if we are patient. It was many years ago i first had the wish for a larger borderless Ancestral Path Tarot by Julie Cuccia-Watts! But now it has come true at long last: https://www.usgamesinc.com/Ancestral-Path-Tarot.html

Here's a beautiful and unusual deck by Kevin Jay Stanton, new on Kickstarter: I love the striking art. This seems like a deck where readers might need to rely a lot on the book to understand the flowers and meanings intended by the creator- the flowers I recognize strike me as pretty intuitive (like Lotus and Elderflower), but there are others I don't immediately recognize. According to the Kickstarter page it comes with "a booklet explaining the symbolic meaning of each card and each plant." I've been following this artist and really love his work.

I came across a couple of forthcoming decks while the forum was down and was so antsy to post them here! This one is from Cracked Amethyst, the maker of the Amethyst Oracle and I believe also the Idiosyncradeck. What fascinates me is that this is a 120 card deck, with 22 majors, 80 minors, and 16 courts, as well as 2 bonus cards. Why so many cards? Well, it looks like there are eight suits of minors! The suits appear to be Flowers, Crops, Cacti, Mushrooms, Medicinal, Herbs, Spices, and Poisons. Usually I would say this kind of very modern art style isn't for me, but this deck is so fascinating that I'm going to continue to keep an eye on it. (Also I actually do…

I wrote to Emi Brady last night in praise of her stunning Brady Tarot which I received yesterday. I was so impressed with the work and the quality of the presentation that I'm considering buying another set or two and I was wondering if she was running low. She gave me permission to post her reply: "Thank you so much for your kind words! I really put my heart and soul into the creation of this body of work, and it means so much to me to hear your feedback. I've got about 500 copies left of the first edition (out of the original 3000 I received in October), so while there are still some left, they will not last! I will be publishing a secon…

I just got my update on the Brady Tarot from kickstarter with images of some colored in cards, it looks great. I'm excited for this deck and glad it's one I decided to support. Anyone else looking forward to this one?
-
The Brady Tarot is now shipping the kickstarter backers. After that the deck will be available for sale. It's unusual, each card is from an original woodblock, all animals, vivid colors and the book is written by Rachel Pollock.

How many have had a fav for a long time, but then they fell in love with another deck and their once favorite got pushed to the side? I don't mean just a new fancy, but that your favorite was replaced by one you just loved MORE. I have been thinking about this and it's not so much a deck has been really replaced, but more a STYLE of a deck. The Pamela Centennial by US GAMES has just been my go to, then the one without borders came out and now I am looking at reall's Vintage. Just kind of different takes on the same deck, but I am feeling a bit of a loyalty shift here. Anyone else had a LONG TIME fav that you dumped for another?

The Playful Heart Tarot is one of the decks I would have loved to have! I keep going back to KittenChops' website to look at it and sigh. Today, I saw that the artist is considering bringing back this deck. She asks people who would be interested in buying it to give her feedback, subscribe to her newsletter and give her an idea of how many decks to print. I did so immediately, and if you are interested, maybe you wish to do the same? It's a unique deck, done in watercolours, and it's wonderful to see a deck without AI. Her Marseilles-based Pipspeak Tarot looks wonderful as well. Her style reminds me of the children's book illustrati…

So... I just got my copy this morning. Anyone have it? 🙂 🙂 I bumped into it on Amazon last night 🤩 I remember there were plans for one after the series (or during?) - but the creator/s couldn't get permission to use images for it. I was disappointed. Lol. Well - I'm rather pleased with this one. It's going to make a great self-reading/reflection deck.

This is the preview of the Buffy tarot. For me it's too abstract, he said he thinks october, But amazon has it march 24 2023 Long time fans will probaly remember the failed lee, Rachel pollack Buffy the slayers tarot which had more mainstream artwork .
