Just a heads up that the pre-orders are open for the watercolour edition. Mythical Creatures I missed out on the monochrome version and I’m looking forward to this one. The production seems to be of a very high standard again.

I was sad that no one had written about this deck on the forum before and been following it's progress on instagram for months and ❤️ it, so wanted to show it some love! The Vibra Tarot is a collage deck made by a tarot reader called Alice from Latvia. She has studied psychology and photography as a student and decided to make this deck out of digital collage. from her statement about the deck, "This is a timeless and vibrant collage deck of cards inspired by nature, fairytales, sci-fi, The Rider-Waite-Smith, Ancient Egypt, and the Baltics". I personally love the vibrant and colourful style, it's one of my fave artist…

There’s a project on Kickstarter called the Cosmic Cycles Tarot. I love it, and just thought I’d share.

What is your favorite in-print Rider Waite Smith deck with Smith's artwork? I just need a few basic Rider Waites with Pamela's art that handle well, nothing fancy. I love my Pamela Coleman Smith centennial edition but the card stock, while lovely, is pretty stiff, and I find it doesn't handle smoothly when I'm shuffling with my eyes closed. It takes a long time to break in. I have an Original RW from 1993, the Belgian printing, which I really like. Good card stock, good images, pretty backs (roses and lilies, not that hideous plaid!). But it is really old and just feels dirty. I bought a new edition of this deck (rose and lily) but the colors don't …

Have just got the "Enchanted Spell Oracle" by Priestess Moon and it's beautiful. At the same time I got a book "The healing power of trees" by Sharlyn Hildago. I am a total newbie at this. But the calendar are different in the book compared to the Oracle. With help of google I find that the Oracle deck has a so called Graves' system while in the book, the year starts at around 1 Nov. This bothers me a little. Though having an open mind is always good, I'd like that it was the same.. or rather that the Oracle deck would have had the same system as in the book. Any suggestions or tips on this? Katie

I don't believe I've seen a thread about this deck...I just came across the forthcoming Spirit Keeper's Tarot by Benebell Wen. The cards look symbol-rich and quite unique. https://benebellwen.com/spirit-keepers-tarot/

Hi All! I just wanted to let you all know about my deck that's almost fully funded on kickstarter in it's first week. I've been working on this for the past year, and I'm so excited that it's so close to being out in the real world. It would mean so much to me if you could check it out!

It's already funded even!

Well, when I was trying to de-enable myself last night from Pictorial Key of Tarot and Llewellyn's Classic Tarot, LOL I came across this little gem in some youtube reviews. 🤩 https://www.etsy.com/listing/650720803/fateshifters-astrology-tarot-deck http://www.fateshifters.com/gallery.html The artwork looks so awesome, and there are some neat extra cards included to really add some interesting additional elements to a reading (if one so desired) Anyone have this deck? Any thoughts? I'm not normally into multi-artist decks, but the artwork really flows here and it looks like they really stayed as close to the RWS as much as possible.

Just saw that we're going to have another Wizards Tarot deck early next year by Barbara Moore and Mieke Janssens. I love the artwork. It looks fantastic and I cannot wait to get it! 😍After Corinne Kenner's Wizards Tarot went out of print, I'm glad there will be another beautiful wizards deck available. One question though - can they not come up with another name? Or add something to it to differentiate it from the other wizard decks? 🤔 Here is a link to the artist's portfolio, where she has some cards https://www.hireanillustrator.com/i/portfolio/mieke-janssens/#lg=1&slide=13 Her artwork is very beautiful. https://www.amazon.com/Wizards-Taro…

Hello there! I do hope this will be an okay subject, even if it might veer a bit negative. I simply have to get this off my chest and see if I'm the only one who's had this experience. If it's not allowed, please let me know and delete this thread! Now, what is this all about? Well, I recently caved and invested in the Jolanda tarot / Swedish Witch tarot, due to having very strong emotional bonds to its artist, Hans Arnold. He illustrated many a book with short horror stories, which I used to adore as a child. And that same feeling of dread carries over into many of the cards in this deck. Everything else about it, though... First of al…

Has anyone heard of Tarocco Studio? I'd love to hear if anyone has purchased any of his decks. I've tried searching here and on another forum, but haven't come across much info. https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/TaroccoStudio?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=524297556§ion_id=1 There are several tarot and lenormand decks available. They look beautiful, but I want to see what others think before I hit the 'buy now' button😄. Thank you! 🙂

Hi! So someone close to me gave me a bunch of tarot decks she collected a while ago. One of them is older than me. It's called The Mythic Tarot A New Approach to the Tarot Cards by Juliet Sharman-Burke and Liz Greene. I've got the cards, the hardback book, and a cloth with a spread on it. The copyright date says 1986 and the ISBN is 0 671 61863 6 Do I need to give any more information? Any information you could give me would be much appreciated! I really like this deck so I'm definitely keeping it but I really just like knowing things. Thanks again!

I saw a discussion like this elsewhere and wanted to bring it here...what's the story of your first tarot deck? What was the deck, how did you come by it, what drew you to it, etc.

This may be old news for some, but I'm posting it just in case. Stephanie Pui-Mun Law is selling on her website a "special edition" of her deck: http://www.shadowscapes.com/Tarot/deckSE.php I was hoping it was a larger, more luxurious edition like the Czech one, but, as far as I can tell, it seems to be the regular Llewellyn edition plus some perks. To be frank, I'm more than a little underwhelmed, but YMMV.

So the Urban Outfitters have their very own exclusive version of the Circo tarot that comes in a kit with a book. They call it “How to deal”. The deck has been slightly modified and they have changed 10 cards to make it more suitable for a teenage market (I believe they removed some nudity and made some of the typically ‘scary’ cards gentler in their depictions). The cardstock is supposedly very good. I have the indie version and I did not like that cardstock at all. It is glossy and chipped almost straight away. This one is supposed to be more matte. Anyways. The deck is now available on the British site too and they are currently doing an offer of “buy two …

Just received an email from Carrie Mallon about this deck on Kickstarter. She collaborated with Annie Ruygt, the artist, to create this, The Spacious Tarot. The link is here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thespacioustarot/the-spacious-tarot

A few years back, Marie White self-published a limited edition deck based on her sketches for the Mary-El Tarot: https://tarotsmyth.wordpress.com/2014/05/04/the-new-sketch-deck/. Maybe, if there's enough interest, she could make a new one. I don't know Marie from Adam, I'm just testing the waters. If there's enough interest, maybe we could motivate her to make a Kickstarter or something.

If you know that you have to perform a very important reading that needs to be extremely accurate, which deck would you reach for? If push comes to shove and the clock is ticking, which would you choose to make your Hail Mary pass? It can be a deck you feel a very strong rapport with or which has a high batting average, or maybe it has given you very clear and straightforward readings.

From Joanna Powell Colbert's newsletter: I am over-the-moon thrilled to let you know about the new tarot deck I’ve been working on for the past three years, the Herbcrafter’s Tarot! I created it with my friend Latisha Guthrie of Herbmother.com. I know tarot, Latisha knows herbs. We collaborated on the content, I did the artwork, and Latisha wrote the book. Together we’ve created something unique and beautiful! The deck and book set will be released by US Games in the Spring of 2019. Here’s what it’s all about: The Herbcrafter’s Tarot celebrates the handicrafts, tools, and time-honored folk skills related to herbs, trees, flowers, and other plants that share …

Gabi Angus-West has one coming out, hopefully this year. https://www.instagram.com/tarotavatara/ Normally I would be dead set against a white lady on the other side of the world doing a Frida deck. It would smack of appropriation and privilege. But this - THIS! Gabi has transcended all of that. I see nothing but a deep soul connection, two people on the same rare, heavy frequency. It's said that at her cremation, Frida sat bolt upright and grinned, hair on fire like a halo, before the doors slammed shut. Leave it to Frida to do THAT. These images manage to capture the pain and audacity. I patiently - but eagerly - await this deck
